Vista Outdoor’s Outdoor Products Segment to be Named Revelyst, Inc. in Planned Separation

Vista Outdoor Inc., the parent company of numerous renowned brands in the sporting and outdoor lifestyle products industry, has announced the name and identity of its Outdoor Products segment following a planned separation. The segment will be named Revelyst, Inc. and will trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “GEAR” once the separation is complete.

Led by CEO Eric Nyman, Revelyst aims to be a collective of category-defining maker brands that go beyond the boundaries of precision, performance, and protection. The portfolio of brands under Revelyst is known for their meticulous craftsmanship and unwavering commitment to creating products and technologies that support consumers in various outdoor pursuits. The company’s purpose is to leverage this collective expertise and cross-collaboration to pursue new innovations that redefine what is possible in the outdoors.

The name “Revelyst” is a combination of “revel,” which signifies experiencing with abandon, and “catalyst,” representing an unwavering source of transformation.
