Consolidated Lithium Metals Completes Summer Exploration Program at Baillargé Lithium Project

Consolidated Lithium Metals Inc. (CLM) has successfully concluded its summer exploration field activities at the Baillargé Lithium Project in Quebec. The program consisted of three key components, including diamond drilling, outcrop stripping, and a soil sampling program.

A total of 29 holes were drilled, covering 4,747 meters, to test the three known dykes of the Baillargé Est Showing. All holes encountered lithium-bearing pegmatites, extending the known strike lengths of the pegmatites. Additionally, a new pegmatite dyke system, Dyke 5, was discovered between Dyke 3 and Dyke 7. Samples collected from the pegmatites have been submitted for analysis, with results expected in the coming weeks.

The outcrop stripping program aimed to expand the surface strike extent of the spodumene-bearing pegmatite dyke systems at Baillargé Est. The program successfully extended the length of the known dykes and revealed a previously unknown portion of the pegmatite containing high concentrations of lithium-bearing minerals. Channel sampling was conducted, and samples have been submitted for geochemical analysis.

Furthermore, CLM conducted a soil sampling program using a handheld LIBS Analyzer to detect lithium-in-soil anomalies. The program covered the area between Baillargé Est and the Chubb showing, a high-priority target for future exploration. Results from the soil sampling program are expected in the next few weeks.

Drilling contractor Les Forages Géo-Nord, employing local drillers from Val-d’Or, Quebec, carried out the drilling activities. The soil sampling program was designed and sampled by ABG EXPLORATION’s technical team.

Rene Bharti, CEO of CLM, expressed excitement about the use of groundbreaking LIBS technology, which will enable the company to locate buried lithium-bearing pegmatite dykes and define better drilling targets.

Consolidated Lithium Metals Inc. is a Canadian junior mining exploration company focused on the acquisition, exploration, production, and development of mining properties in Quebec, primarily in the spodumene-bearing pegmatites of the La Corne Batholith.

With the completion of the summer exploration program, CLM is one step closer to unlocking the full potential of the Baillargé Lithium Project and contributing to the growing lithium industry.
