Butler National Expands Product Offerings with Acquisition of KC Machine

Butler National Corporation, a leader in specialized aircraft structural modification and gaming management services, has announced its acquisition of KC Machine, a renowned provider of high-quality precision machine parts. The strategic move aims to complement Butler National’s aircraft modifications and expand its product offerings.

KC Machine, located just outside Kansas City, has been serving diverse businesses, including the Department of Defense, for over two decades. The company offers machine services, repairs, fabrication capabilities, and cooperative design engineering. It is also registered and compliant with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), certified to ISO 9001:2015, and a member of the National Tooling and Machining Association.

The acquisition of KC Machine brings significant synergy to Butler National, especially with the increased activity of its subsidiary, Avcon, in aircraft modification. The addition of KC Machine’s skilled workforce and cost-effective parts fabrication capabilities will enhance Butler National’s ability to meet the growing demands of its customers.

Chris Reedy, President and CEO of Butler National, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, stating, “We anticipate a seamless integration of KC Machine into Butler National while maintaining its existing business levels.” Keith Diebold, former CEO of KC Machine, also expressed confidence in the transition, highlighting the growth opportunities and reliable corporate ownership that Butler National provides for employees and customers.

Butler National plans to continue promoting the KC Machine Business name and maintain its existing culture, which aligns with Butler National’s values. The company remains committed to seeking growth opportunities that add synergy to its aerospace business segment and deliver long-term shareholder value.

With this strategic acquisition, Butler National Corporation strengthens its position in the specialized aircraft modification market and expands its product offerings, further solidifying its reputation as a leader in the industry.
