Advanced Energy Industries, Inc., a global leader in precision power conversion solutions, has announced the groundbreaking of its new state-of-the-art factory near Bangkok, Thailand. The 500,000 sq ft facility will manufacture cutting-edge power delivery systems for the semiconductor market, with the potential to generate up to $1 billion in annual revenue.

The new facility represents an important milestone in Advanced Energy’s global capacity expansion strategy, aimed at supporting future revenue growth. At full production levels, the factory is expected to employ approximately 2,500 engineers, technicians, and operators. Initially, the focus will be on producing products for the semiconductor market, but there are plans to expand into industrial and medical applications in the future.
