Trainer brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the firm, having worked closely with Voyager in various capacities over the past two decades.

Prior to joining Voyager, Trainer served as President & CEO of Gyrodata Incorporated, a leading provider of proprietary wellbore placement services in both land and offshore markets. Under Trainer’s guidance, Gyrodata achieved significant milestones, including its recent acquisition by SLB (NYSE: SLB) in February 2023.

Trainer’s extensive experience in the ES&E sector also includes his previous role as an investment banker at Simmons & Company, where he focused on this industry. He holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin and a B.A. in History from Trinity College (CT).
