Taylor Swift set to bring The Eras Tour to Australia in 2024

Taylor Swift will bring The Eras Tour Down Under in 2024.

The Shake It Off hitmaker will play two shows at the Melbourne Cricket Ground before moving to Sydney’s Accor Stadium for three shows. 

Frontier Touring shared the news to Twitter at 2am on Wednesday morning, writing: ‘We’re enchanted to announce Taylor Swift is returning to Australia’, before revealing she will be joined by special guest Sabrina Carpenter. 

The American Express VIP Package pre-sale will go on sale Monday, June 26 with two VIP packages available: It’s Been a Long Time Coming + Karma is My Boyfriend.

Promoter Frontier Touring will then host their pre-sale from Wednesday, June 28 with tickets and VIP packages available.

General tickets will go on sale Friday, June 30, with Sydney kicking off at 10am local time, and Melbourne going on sale at 2pm. 

Frontier Touring advises fans to buy tickets through authorised sellers.  

‘We cannot guarantee any ticket purchase made through any means other than the official ticketing agents listed on the Frontier website,’ it said in a statement. 

The Eras Tour began in March and is slated to end its American dates on August 9. 

The U.S. trek leg has drawn large crowds and celebrities, such as Miles Teller, Aaron Rodgers, Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Lawrence, Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes.

Along with bringing her performances to other cities across the globe, Taylor has also celebrated the release of her deluxe album, Midnights (Til Dawn Edition), which dropped on Friday, May 26.

A new version of the song, Karma, featuring rapper Ice Spice was added, as well as updated Snow On The Beach which had more Lana Del Rey vocals. A brand new tune was also included on the deluxe LP titled, You’re Losing Me.

Much to the surprise of fans, Taylor brought Ice Spice onto the stage to perform Karma together during her New Jersey stop over the weekend. Other guests that have stepped onto the stage included Marcus Mumford and Jack Antonoff.

Taylor recently confirmed her next single will be Cruel Summer, a re-release from her 2019 studio album, Lover.

The singer-songwriter said she had previously intended to release her ‘favorite song’ as a single in the summer of 2020.
