Olympic Steel Welcomes George R. Frost as Director of National Sales – Aluminum

Olympic Steel Inc., a leading national metals service center, has announced the appointment of George R. Frost as the Director of National Sales – Aluminum. With nearly two decades of experience in the metals industry, Frost brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role.

In his previous positions, Frost held various commercial and distribution roles with national mills, gaining valuable experience in the industry. His primary focus in his new role will be to support the growth of Olympic Steel’s Specialty Metals business segment, with a specific emphasis on aluminum products and processing. This aligns with the company’s strategic growth plan and its aim to expand further into the aluminum market.

Andy Markowitz, President – Specialty Metals, expressed excitement about Frost joining the team and highlighted the importance of his contributions in executing the company’s aluminum growth strategy. Olympic Steel’s Specialty Metals business segment is currently the fastest-growing, making Frost’s expertise invaluable in driving further expansion.

Frost holds a Bachelor of Science in industrial distribution from Western Carolina University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix School of Management. He is actively involved in the industry and serves on the Metals Service Center Institute (MSCI) Aluminum Products Board, as well as being a member of the MSCI Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force.
