Mighty Fire Breaker Named EPA’s Safer Choice Product Partner of the Year

Mighty Fire Breaker (MFB) has been recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as its Safer Choice Product Partner of the Year. The prestigious award was given to MFB for its innovative fire chemistry, MFB-31-CitroTech® (CitroTech), which is considered the safest fire chemistry in the world.

The EPA’s Safer Choice designation highlights MFB’s commitment to providing environmentally responsible products in the fire-retardant industry. With the global fire-retardant market projected to exceed 9 billion USD by 2027, the introduction of safer and eco-friendly options like MFB-31-CitroTech® is expected to drive exponential market growth.

During demonstrations, MFB representatives have engaged with firefighters who have expressed concerns about past exposure to hazardous chemicals, such as AFFF and fire-retardant uniforms, which have been linked to various health problems.
