Mercury Insurance Partners with LA Kings as Inaugural Jersey Patch Sponsor

Mercury Insurance and the LA Kings have announced a groundbreaking collaboration, solidifying Mercury as the NHL team’s first-ever jersey patch partner. This extended multi-year agreement marks a significant milestone for both organizations, celebrating their 16-year relationship and shared commitment to the Southern California community.

As part of the partnership, Mercury’s logo will be prominently featured on the LA Kings’ on-ice home jerseys for the upcoming 2023-24 NHL season. Fans will have the opportunity to see the new Mercury patch during pre-season, regular season, and playoff games held at Crypto.com Arena.

In addition to the jersey patch, Mercury Insurance will enhance the game-day experience for LA Kings fans through an innovative augmented reality activation called “Where’s Bailey?” Fans will be challenged to find the team mascot, Bailey, throughout the arena and iconic landmarks in Los Angeles. Those who successfully locate Bailey will have a chance to win a Kings prize package, including an authentic jersey and autographed memorabilia.

The collaboration between Mercury Insurance, the LA Kings, and superstar Kevin Fiala will also honor local community heroes who have made significant impacts in their respective communities. These heroes will be inducted into the Hockeywood Community Walk of Fame art installation at the Toyota Sports Performance Center in El Segundo, California. They will have the opportunity to meet Fiala, be integrated into the art installation, and be celebrated on the videoboard during a Kings game. Each honoree will also receive a Kings jersey and game tickets.

Mercury Insurance, founded in 1961 and headquartered in Los Angeles, has a long-standing history of providing top-quality insurance coverage to Angelenos. Their partnership with the LA Kings reflects their shared commitment to the city and its diverse communities.
