Manchester United receive offers from TWO Saudi Pro League sides over Eric Bailly… with the Red Devils looking to sell before they can sign Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat

Manchester United have received Saudi interest for their out-of-favour defender Eric Bailly.

The Red Devils have received offers from two Saudi Pro League clubs for the 29-year-old defender who has dropped down the pecking order at Old Trafford.

Bailly spent last season on loan at Ligue 1 side Marseille, after making just 20 Premier League appearances across the three years prior for Manchester United.

He joined the club for a £30m fee back in 2016, but his time at Old Trafford has been plagued by injuries and inconsistent form – making 113 appearances across six seasons.

The centre-back has another year on his contract so United have strong reason to sell him this summer than lose him on a free in 2024.

Erik ten Hag’s side also need to sell players before they can sign Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.

Rasmus Hojlund is expected to be confirmed as United’s next signing on a £72m deal from Italian side Atalanta.

The Red Devils though would need to raise funds before they can make a move for Amrabat, who would be expected to cost £30m.

Dutch-born Amrabat caught eyes with his impressive performances as Morocco surged to the Qatar World Cup semi-finals in December.

The midfielder has been on the books at Fiorentina for four years and has played 15 times in Europe as the club reached the Europa Conference League final.

Donny van de Beek, Fred and Brandon Williams have all been deemed surplus to requirements and are attracting interest from other clubs.

United recently opened talks with Real Sociedad over the possible sale of Van de Beek while they are expecting an improved offer from Galatasaray for Fred after turning down an undisclosed bid from the Turkish side last month.
