England’s camp at St. George’s Park put an end to Grealish’s four-day celebrations after helping City win the treble by beating Inter Milan in Champions League.

Grealish was responsible for kicking off festivities in Istanbul by leading the chants in the dressing room after their 1-0 win over the Serie A side.

The England international then left the stadium with a Heineken in hand, along with a speaker blaring out Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Everywhere’.

The 27-year-old, who stayed out until sunrise for two successive nights, emerged on Sunday morning still wearing his City kit, raising questions over whether he had slept.

The party continued on the plane back to England, with Grealish making use of the plane’s intercom – much to his teammates’ amusement.

Grealish was even seen stumbling off the plane and along the tarmac as he made his way into the terminal building ahead of City’s open top bur tour in Manchester.

Grealish was front-and-centre once again for City’s victory parade. He was seen downing drinks, signing and waving to the crowd.

As a result, Southgate has decided to rest the City quintet for the Euro 2024 qualifier in Malta and focus on preparing them for Monday’s game against North Macedonia.

However, the City stars are expected to travel with the rest of the squad to Malta for Friday’s clash, but are not expected to start or even make the bench.

As a result the likes of Marc Guehi, Marcus Rashford, James Maddison and Conor Gallagher will be hoping to start in Malta.

Chelsea duo Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell are doubts for the squad due to injury, but team-mate Raheem Sterling is expected to return.

England face Malta on Friday evening before hosting North Macedonia three days later in the Euro 2024 qualifying matches.

England kicked off their qualifying campaign with a 2-1 win away to Italy. Southgate’s side then defeated Ukraine 2-0 at Wembley a few days later as they sit top of Group C with six points from their two matches.
