Harry Styles joins James Corden on his favoured mode of transport as close friends ride

London shoppers were given an unexpected treat on Wednesday after spotting Harry Styles and James Corden as they cycled through the city. 

The best friends were seen weaving through traffic while out on identical eco-bikes, Corden’s favoured mode of transport since relocating to the United Kingdom with his family. 

Pedalling through leafy Primrose Hill, Styles, 29, suggested he knew his way around the cycling proficiency test by signaling to passing drivers whenever he prepared to make a turn. 

Following close behind, Corden, 45 – easy to spot in a garishly patterned Gucci sweater – copied the former One Direction star’s signals as they rode their matching e-bikes. 

But they appeared to get their Highway Code a little muddled by appearing to cycle through a red light as neighboring cars waited in line.

Corden looked happy while riding his electric bike, and it isn’t the first time the star has been spotted with one.

In August, the father-of-three was told off by a Mayfair doorman after parking his e-bike outside a pub.

He was also seen riding the distinctive green bike while out appearing to run errands in London on Tuesday. 

The environmentally friendly mode of transport is an electric bicycle made by Lime, a transportation company founded in 2017 in San Francisco, California.

Styles has been enjoying regular public appearances with Corden since his return to London following an eight year spell in Los Angeles, where he hosted The Late Late Show. 

It aired its last episode in April 2023 and he subsequently returned to the UK with his wife Julia Carey and their three children. 

Accompanying the presenter on Wednesday, Styles looked typically stylish in a blue over-shirt and chinos, teamed with a pair of black Vans trainers. 

With his hair tied in a loose top-knot, the former One Direction singer inevitably caught the eye as the pair idled at a set of traffic lights, where they were filmed by eagle-eyed pedestrians.

The appearance comes after a cyclist passed the international pop star on Hampstead Heath last week.

In a short video uploaded to TikTok, a man is seen riding his bike across the picturesque north-west London enclave, only to pass Harry Styles and his new girlfriend, actress Taylor Russell.

While the cyclist failed to notice former One Direction star Harry, his pet cat – perched inside his bike basket – certainly didn’t after catching sight of the singer’s dog, Root.

Spotting the canine from its elevated vantage point, the white moggy is seen meowing aggressively as they pass, drawing the attention of Harry and Taylor.
