GE HealthCare and University Hospitals Collaborate to Enhance Patient Care in Northern Ohio

GE HealthCare and University Hospitals have announced a 10-year strategic collaboration aimed at delivering the best care to patients in northern Ohio. This partnership will bring GE HealthCare technologies to University Hospitals’ radiology practice and UH Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute, providing state-of-the-art equipment and digital solutions to enhance processes for the benefit of patients and clinicians.

The collaboration will involve the implementation of hundreds of new systems, including AI-enabled technologies, across various medical fields such as nuclear medicine, X-Ray, ultrasound, CT, fluoroscopy, surgery, and bone densitometry. GE HealthCare will be the sole provider of these advanced systems. The focus of the collaboration is to optimize workflows and improve clinical decision-making through the implementation of enterprise-wide technology.
