Electreon Expands into Chinese Market with Strategic Partnership

Electreon, the global leader in wireless charging technologies for electric vehicles (EVs), has announced a significant milestone in its mission to revolutionize the EV charging landscape. The company has entered the Chinese market through a strategic partnership with the Shandong Innovation and Entrepreneurship Community for International Science and Technology Cooperation (SITEC).

This collaboration marks a major leap forward for Electreon as it introduces its groundbreaking wireless charging technologies in Shandong province, the world’s EV manufacturing epicenter. Shandong province is not only the heart of global EV production but also a strategic market entry point for Electreon. With a population of over 100 million and a robust economy, Shandong offers immense potential for the adoption of sustainable transportation solutions.

The partnership with SITEC will unfold in several phases. In the initial phase, Electreon’s wireless charging technologies will be deployed at the Jinan Shandong Hi-Speed industrial park, showcasing the innovative EV charging technology to key clients and partners in the Chinese market. Electreon will also integrate its technology with vehicles from Zhongtong Bus, one of the biggest Chinese bus manufacturers.

The subsequent phases of the partnership will involve the deployment of Electreon’s dynamic charging system, installation of stationary charging stations, and integration of the company’s technology into urban electric buses in Liaocheng city. The collaboration will also extend to a wireless charging project for electric trucks operating within the Weifang Port, along with the integration of Electreon’s technology into Sinotruk vehicles, China’s largest truck manufacturer.

By entering the Chinese market, Electreon aims to ramp up its mass manufacturing and production capacities to meet the growing market demand for wireless charging solutions across Europe and beyond. The partnership with SITEC, supported by Shandong Hi-Speed Group, a Fortune 500 state-owned company, provides Electreon with a strong foothold in the strategically important Chinese market.

Oren Ezer, CEO of Electreon, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating that Shandong province is the ideal location to launch their wireless charging technology in China. He believes that this partnership will contribute to the sustainable transformation of transportation in China and beyond.

SITEC’s Chairman, Mr. Shang Min, shared his perspective on the partnership, emphasizing the potential of Electreon’s wireless Electric Road technology to revolutionize EV charging infrastructure in China. He expressed eagerness to work alongside Electreon to make this vision a reality in Shandong province and beyond.

As Electreon and SITEC collaborate to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles and promote sustainable transportation solutions, these projects are set to redefine the way EVs are charged and pave the way for a cleaner, more efficient future of transportation.
