Giuliano Simeone, son of Atletico Madrid manager Diego, has been hospitalised after a horror tackle during a match for Alaves.
The forward is on loan from Atletico at Alaves and collapsed in pain during a friendly match against Burgos.
Simeone, 20, was taken out as he ran down the right wing towards the end of the match, going down in the 86th minute.
Jose Matos was booked for Burgos, with the Alaves players rushing over to Simeone as they saw he was in pain.
Medical staff rushed onto the pitch with Simeone laying on his back in agony.

With his left leg raised in the air, Simeone’s foot was pictured at a distorted angle as he remained on the floor.
Several members of the Alaves team had their heads in their hands as they could not believe the injury before an ambulance arrived at the pitch.
Simeone was rushed to hospital as players and fans applauded him and the ambulance off the pitch.
Spanish news outlet Football.espana have now reported that the striker will miss the majority of the season, with it further reported that he broke his ankle while Matos was left ‘crying’ after the challenge.
The match was suspended with Burgos 2-1 up as Simeone went off.
It comes as a huge blow to Alaves, with Simeone netting their only goal of the match before suffering the injury.
