Democrats compare RFK Jr. to Hitler for pushing COVID theories in letter demanding
Democrat lawmakers are demanding that anti-vaxx conspiracy theorist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. be barred from a key hearing on social media censorship.
The 69-year-old Kennedy, nephew to slain President JFK, has parroted several bogus claims on the safety of vaccines in recent years.
Democrats in the House of Representatives want to ban RFK Jr. over his alleged racist views and stop him from appearing at the GOP-led Weaponization of Federal Government committee on Thursday.
RFK Jr, 69, made the remarks at an event Thursday at Tony’s Di Napoli restaurant on New York City’s Upper East Side in which he claimed that Covid-19 was an engineered bioweapon designed to spare Jews and Chinese people.
The group was set up after the mid-terms by Republicans in Congress to probe what they allege is a misuse of powers by U.S. officials against conservatives.
They claim that the U.S. government collaborated with social media companies to suppress anti-lockdown, anti-mask messaging at the height of the pandemic.
RFK Jr., who is running for the Democrat nomination, has repeatedly made similar claims since kicking off his campaign in Boston in April.
He is now under fire for having suggested that Covid-19 was ‘ethnically targeted’ to ‘attack’ Caucasians and black people but spare Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese people.
It even earned the one-time environmental lawyer and presidential no-hoper a stinging rebuke from the White House.
Joe Biden’s 2024 campaign is reportedly concerned about his rising poll numbers amongst Democrat voters where the Kennedy scion has climbed into double-digit territory.
Now a letter penned by Reps Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), Dan Goldman (D-NY), and Judy Chu (D-CA) hit out at RFK Jr. over his antisemitic rhetoric, likening him to Nazi Germany dictator Adolf Hitler.

They took aim at Kennedy’s suggestion in a speech last Thursday that the Jewish people are a different race.
‘This technique was used by Hitler claiming that there are biological differences between ethnic or racial groups to portray Jews as a lesser form of humanity, a steppingstone to justifying the annihilation of the Jews during the Holocaust,’ they wrote.
‘Allowing Mr. Kennedy to serve as a witness before the Select Subcommittee only services to legitimize his antisemitic and anti-Asian views,’ they added.
It follows a similar call from a Democrat-backed watchdog on Monday, urging committee chairman Jim Jordan to revoke Thursday’s invitation.
‘We now have video evidence of his horrific antisemitic and xenophobic views which are simply beyond the pale,’ said Kyle Herrig, the executive directors of the Congressional Integrity Project.
Jordan dismissed the idea of ‘canceling’ Kennedy on Monday, saying he wanted to investigate ‘Big Tech’s collusion with out-of-control government agencies to silence speech.’
‘Yeah, I totally disagree with what he said, but he’s a Democrat. I disagree with other things he said, too,’ Jordan said. ‘But we’re having him because of censorship.’
RFK Jr began his campaign by playing down his views on vaccines that he has loudly voiced over the past nearly two decades, focusing on issues such as the environment and alleged state corruption.
‘My mission over the next 18 months of this campaign and throughout my presidency will be to end the corrupt merger of state and corporate power that is threatening now to impose a new kind of corporate feudalism in our country,’ Kennedy said in Boston on April 19.

He has made the entirely baseless claim that jabs can lead to autism in children, which has been repeatedly debunked by top medics and scientists.
Kennedy’s work has been described by members of his own family and public health experts as misleading and dangerous.
His efforts intensified after the pandemic and development of the COVID-19 vaccine, and in 2021 he linked up with anti-democratic figures and other groups.
He has appeared at events pushing the lie that the 2020 presidential election was stolen and with people who cheered or downplayed the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.
His bestselling 2021 book, ‘The Real Anthony Fauci’ accused the U.S.’s former top infectious disease doctor of participating in ‘a historic coup d’état against Western democracy.’
During the pandemic, RFK Jr’s group, Children’s Health Defense, raked in funding and followers in the U.S. and abroad, and doubling its revenue from 2019 to 2020. Revenue more than doubled from $7 million in 2020 to $16 million in 2021.
Kennedy has in the past leveled similar accusations in a book entitled ‘The Real Anthony Fauci, Bill Gates, Big Pharma and the Global War on Democracy and Public Health.’

Yet despite Kennedy’s controversial views, he has surged in some polls to as high as 20 percent against Joe Biden, the 80-year-old incumbent commander-in-chief.
Ex-Trump aide Steve Bannon has also spoken highly of RFK Jr., suggesting he ‘could be both a useful chaos agent in the 2024 race and a big name who could help stoke anti-vaccine sentiment around the country.’
Donald Trump last month called Kennedy ‘a very smart guy and a good guy’, while Roger Stone, a prominent Trump ally, has also promoted the idea that they run on the same ticket.
