Ascot TV presenter Rosie Tapner placed her bets right when she decided to court rugged adventurer Ross Turner, for the pair are now engaged.

‘My bestest friend in the world asked me to marry him, and of course (through so many happy tears) I said yes,’ says Rosie. 

The Burberry model, 27, showed off the sparkler that Ross, 34, proposed with on a beach under Cornwall’s Brea Hill.

‘I’m feeling like the luckiest girl in the world,’ says Rosie, who was the first person to zip-wire across the River Thames, hurtling at 40mph while 170ft in the air.

Meanwhile, Ross and his identical twin brother Hugo hold world records for being part of the youngest four-man crew to row the Atlantic.

‘My bestest friend in the world asked me to marry him, and of course (through so many happy tears) I said yes,’ says Rosie.

At the start of July, the couple took the plunged and moved to the countryside together from London.

At the time, Rosie penned on Instagram: ‘New Home. Today we waved goodbye to London and hello to the countryside.

‘Without doubt the most tiring and exciting couple of days moving out! SO happy to see the back of London! Here’s to the next big adventure together’

And at the end of 2022, the couple jetted off on their first holiday together to Pico Island in Portugal.

Alongside a loved-up snap, Rosie wrote: ‘Pico Island you did not disappoint! 2 weeks of total heaven, walking, swimming, climbing, dolphins, whales and time together!

‘Love going places out of season…quite literally the only people there! Now back to work and the lead up to Christmas’

Rosie, who is close friends with Cara Delevingne, signed with fashion icons Balenciaga when she was just 15.

One year later she was on the cover of Vogue UK and fronting campaigns for the likes of Burberry and Ralph Lauren.

She shot to fame when she performed the Harlem Shake dance with the pair backstage at Topshop last year after she signed with Kate Moss and Cara’s agency Storm.

Speaking to MailOnline at the time, Rosie said: ‘I’m just walking for Topshop this season, partly because of school. I’ve got a lot on at school at the moment.

‘It’s easy for me at school because I’ve got that grounded life where I don’t need to think about all of this.

‘I absolutely love this hype, it’s amazing but I just try to keep my head out of it and not read too much into it.

‘My favorite thing is going back to school and having normality. I was in Miami last week, shooting the Topshop campaign in the 80 degree heat, and then came back to England’s rain and just hung out with my friends. It’s hilarious really.’
