Advent International Appoints Fintech Executive Kahina Van Dyke as Operating Partner

Advent International, a leading global private equity investor, has announced the appointment of Kahina Van Dyke as an Operating Partner, reinforcing its fintech practice. Van Dyke, a seasoned leader with over three decades of experience in banking, payments, and technology, will collaborate with Advent’s Technology and Business & Financial Services teams to identify new opportunities and support the management teams of relevant portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Advent, Van Dyke held key positions at prominent financial institutions and technology companies. She served as the Global Head of Digital Channels & Data Analytics at Standard Chartered Bank, where she led the vision to establish the bank as a leading digital banking platform. Van Dyke also played a pivotal role at Ripple, a blockchain-based payments company, leading the Corporate and Business Development teams and facilitating strategic partnerships. Her contributions included a significant equity investment in MoneyGram and the development of a commercial partnership to leverage blockchain technology for cross-border payments. Additionally, Van Dyke held leadership positions at Meta (formerly known as Facebook), Mastercard, and Citibank, where she spearheaded the launch of innovative payment solutions.
