Acentra Health Secures $52.3 Million Contract with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs

Acentra Health, a leading healthcare technology company, has been awarded a significant three-year contract worth $52.3 million by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The contract aims to support the VA’s Financial Services Center (FSC) in claims adjudication, provider access, data analytics, and visualization.

The FSC, located in Austin, Texas, is responsible for providing high-quality financial services to federal clients within the VA. Acentra Health, formerly known as CNSI, has been working with the FSC since 2017, focusing on improving access to timely care for both Veterans and non-Veterans, as well as enhancing the provider experience with faster reimbursement and greater visibility into claims and payment data.

Todd Stottlemyer, CEO of Acentra Health, expressed gratitude to the FSC for recognizing their track record of providing accurate and timely claims processing. He emphasized the importance of the partnership in improving health outcomes for the FSC’s federal clients. Acentra Health is committed to supporting the FSC’s mission of delivering high-quality financial services and exceeding client expectations.

Meghan Harris, President and Chief Operations Officer of Acentra Health, highlighted that the contract includes the implementation of their eCAMS HCE™ platform, a healthcare claims adjudication software. This platform will streamline the adjudication, processing, and preparation for payment of healthcare claims submitted by providers to the FSC. Acentra Health has already collaborated with the FSC to enhance auto-adjudication business rules, resulting in a significant reduction of the FSC’s claims backlog.

Under the terms of the contract, Acentra Health will continue providing their platforms and services to the FSC and its stakeholders, including the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) and Other Governmental Agencies (OGA).

Acentra Health, formed in 2023 through the merger of CNSI and Kepro, brings together public sector knowledge, clinical expertise, and technological innovation to modernize the healthcare experience for state and federal partners. With a focus on driving efficiency, cost savings, and better outcomes, Acentra Health is well-positioned to accelerate positive change in the healthcare industry.
