Abbey Clancy and Peter Crouch ‘receive complaints from furious neighbours’ after belting

Former England football star Peter Crouch and model wife Abbey Clancy belted out 80s karaoke hits so loudly at a party that neighbours made complaints.

The pair hosted a pool party for approximately 15 friends and relatives early into the early hours of yesterday morning and they tore the roof off with their versions of great musical numbers.

The guests reportedly sang classic including A-ha’s classic Take On Me and Whitney Houston‘s I Wanna Dance With Somebody at the fancy Quinta do Lago golf resort on the Algarve on the south coast of Portugal.

Keep it down! Peter’s party was so loud that security guards from another course nearby could hear it from their clubhouse – and so decided to drive past

Peter’s party was so loud that security guards from another course nearby could hear it from their clubhouse – and so decided to drive past, the Mirror reports.

A neighbour told the paper that it was so noisy that ‘everyone in the street could hear it’ and locals came out to see what was happening.

Ironically-named Peter Crouch, 42, who stands at a massive 6ft 7ins, reportedly attempted to hit the high notes, with one source saying he was ‘screaming his lungs out’ to the rapturous applause of guests.

They said the partying began at about 5pm and did not end until 1am the next morning – much to the chagrin of some residents.

Others were fine with the Crouchy and the gang ‘just having a laugh’, although they hoped it was not going to become a frequent feature.

Peter and Abbey were seen on a yacht trip yesterday looking quite tired.

Abbey joked that her husband had ‘ruined’ Glastonbury Festival for her in June after he downed too many pints, getting himself into a ‘bit of a state’.

But he defended himself saying ‘it’s the rules’.

Peter admitted earlier this month he once made his wife carry her dinner across a restaurant because they were sitting at Sir Alex Ferguson‘s favourite table.

The former footballer detailed how he had been out for dinner with his model wife at the Alderley Edge Hotel in Cheshire when Sir Alex suddenly arrived.

He said that hotel staff told him that they had not expected the football manager, 81, to be dining with them, with Peter not hesitating to move from his favourite table.

Peter revealed that he made his wife Abbey immediately get up and carry her roast dinner across the restaurant to free up the space for Sir Alex.

‘I made her pick up the roast dinner and move,’ he told the Daily Mail’s Richard Eden last week.

‘I didn’t even tell the waiters. That’s the kind of respect you have to have. I’ve never played for him, but this is Sir Alex Ferguson.’

His candid revelation comes as Peter and Abbey have been enjoying a sun-soaked family holiday together at a mystery destination.

And the couple appeared to be as loved-up as ever as they documented their trip on Instagram, sharing a sweet kiss in one snap.

Abbey also shared snaps of their four children, Sophia, 11, Liberty, seven, Johnny, five and three-year-old Jack relaxing on a boat.

Abbey and Peter tied the knot at the Stapleford Park hotel in Leicestershire in June 2011, two years after announcing their engagement.

The couple had already welcomed their daughter Sophia in March 2011 and since their wedding have had three more children together.

After spending 11 years married to one another, Abbey and Peter decided to renew their wedding vows in an intimate ceremony on December 17 last year.

The couple had planned to host the ceremony to mark their 10th wedding anniversary in 2021, but were forced to delay their destination plans until a year later due to Covid.

They tied the knot for a second time in front of their four kids, Abbey’s mother Karen and friends on a private island at the Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort.
