Gemma Collins<\/a> has shared her hopes to front British Vogue as she revealed the magazine\u2019s former editor Edward Enninful<\/a> is a fan of hers.<\/p>\n

After ditching her \u2018loud and proud\u2019 style for ‘a look that\u2019s more Victoria Beckham<\/a>\u2019 the TV personality, 42, discussed toning down her outfits in an exclusive interview with MailOnline.<\/p>\n

Joking she is \u2018getting on a bit\u2019, she underwent a transformation with TK Maxx and admitted people might not recognise \u2018The GC now she\u2019s looking more VB.\u2019<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Gemma, who once spent \u00a350k a day in Gucci<\/a>, explained how she now ‘loves a high street bargain\u2019 after her past spending habits left her ‘feeling sick.\u2019<\/p>\n

Known for her flamboyant looks with bold, bright colours and plenty of feathers, Gemma gave denim and camel tones a try as she adopted \u2018the quiet luxury trend\u2019 in a new photoshoot with the retailer.<\/p>\n

The former TOWIE star also revealed her dreams of covering Vogue, she said: ‘I heard Edward Enninful is a fan of mine!’\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2018I was hoping that he might put me on the cover of Vogue after Maya Jama did her’s.\u2019<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, British Vogue\u2019s editor-in-chief announced he was leaving his role, amid rumours of a transatlantic power struggle<\/a> with Anna Wintour. He has since been replaced by Chioma Nnadi.<\/p>\n

\u2018I don’t know if I’ll ever make it to the cover now!\u2019 Gemma exclaimed, \u2018I was pinning all my hopes on Edward Enninful being a fan!\u2019<\/p>\n

Speaking of her style overhaul, she added: ‘I like to be loud and proud but since finding the quiet luxury trend I’m going to whack on those Autumnal tones.<\/p>\n

\u2018I am getting on a bit now, I am 42 and there’s a time and a place for everything.’<\/p>\n

Citing Posh Spice as her inspiration, Gemma said: ‘Victoria Beckham nails it every time and I just thought that maybe I should start strutting through Knightsbridge looking a bit more VB.<\/p>\n

\u2018I don’t think people will recognise me! They’ll be like, “is that The GC in a camel coat?!’<\/p>\n

‘These camel and beige tones are exquisite for the winter, so you are going to be seeing a lot more of that from me.’<\/p>\n

‘For the winter I am going all in. I’ve been pulled out of my comfort zone. I wore a denim skirt! I look stylish, hun.\u2019<\/p>\n

As she partner\u2019s with TK Maxx for the \u2018There\u2019s No Deal Like a TK Deal\u2019 campaign, Gemma also admitted that she now \u2018feels sick\u2019 at the thought of how much she used to spend, saying \u2018people should be buying houses not handbags.\u2019<\/p>\n

‘I feel really sick about how I used to spend money actually. Everyone maybe needs to get it out their system at some point.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2018But I do feel sick about how much money I used to spend in the designer stores. If you want a Chanel handbag, that is an investment, but people need to be buying properties and not handbags that’s for sure.<\/p>\n

‘Now I go down TK Maxx and I can get a full outfit and everything for the same price as a bag.’<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
