Ange Postecoglou will reportedly look to bring\u00a0Kyogo Furuhashi with him from Celtic<\/a> if he is appointed as Tottenham’s new manager.<\/p>\n

Postecoglou is open to joining Tottenham<\/a>, with the north London club looking to appoint a permanent boss following a challenging campaign.<\/p>\n

Should Postecoglou head to Tottenham then he could be followed by Furuhashi, who scored as Celtic beat Inverness 3-1 to win the Scottish Cup and secure the domestic treble.<\/a><\/p>\n

Furuhashi, who has scored 33 goals across all competitions this season, is seen as a partner, cover or a potential replacement for Harry Kane, according to The Sun.<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Tottenham’s chances of signing Furuhashi would increase significantly if they bring in Postecoglou as manager.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Furuhashi has been prolific for Postecoglou’s Celtic side in their treble-winning campaign<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Furuhashi, who has 16 caps for Japan, has been at Celtic since 2021, when he joined from Vissel Kobe.<\/p>\n

The 28-year-old’s current contract at Celtic runs until the summer of 2025.<\/p>\n

Kane has been linked with both Manchester United and Real Madrid, but Tottenham are in need of additional attacking options regardless of whether he stays or departs.<\/p>\n

Richarlison endured a disappointing first season at Tottenham during which he scored just one goal in the league.\u00a0<\/p>\n

As well as Postecoglou, other candidates for the Tottenham job include former Spain coach Luis Enrique and Fulham’s Marco Silva.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
