His victory made headlines in the aftermath, with the 33-year-old becoming the first player from the Saudi Arabia-backed LIV Golf Tour to win a PGA Tour major championship.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Speaking on the <a target=\"_blank\" style=\"font-weight: bold;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/sport\/pga_championship\/index.html\" id=\"mol-9956a240-f9b2-11ed-ad6c-95ac1407a02f\" class=\"class\" rel=\"noopener\">PGA Championship<\/a>&#8216;s broadcast, Chamblee and Brad Faxon were involved in a heated exchange when the latter &#8211; once ranked as high as No. 11 &#8211; said that Koepka may deserve a spot on the USA Ryder Cup team, though Chamblee is strongly against that happening.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">&#8216;The PGA of America runs the Ryder Cup,&#8217; Faxon said, explaining Golf&#8217;s governing bodies to his telecast partner. &#8216;I don&#8217;t think this has anything to do with&#8230; they&#8217;re not playing for money at the Ryder Cup, Brandle. They&#8217;re playing for their country.
