Terence Donovan\u2019s impressive life and career as a photographer was reflected by the vast array of people who attended his memorial in 1997, from Princess Diana<\/a> to Margaret Thatcher.<\/p>\n

The East Ender \u2014 who also had a black belt in Judo \u2014 captured the capital during the Swinging Sixties, along with fellow Londoners David Bailey and Brian Duffy.<\/p>\n

The three socialised with musicians, actors and royalty and became celebrities themselves.<\/p>\n

This compact edition of his photos features some of his most memorable portraits, from Jimi Hendrix and Debbie Harry to Sophia Loren and Sting.<\/p>\n
