This is the disgusting moment a live cockroach was pulled out of a woman’s ear in Colombia.

The unnamed woman said she felt like her ear had just popped and brushed it off as something minor, but when the pain persisted she told her friend she felt something was trapped inside it.

Footage shows the friend taking a pair of tweezers to the woman’s left ear at a house in Villavicencio, 78 miles from the capital Bogotá, before tugging on the insect.

The creepy crawly can be seen squirming around as the friend tries to extract it.

Seconds later, the cockroach is pulled out alive and kicking.

It is not known if any damage was caused to the woman’s ear.

The video was uploaded to TikTok where it racked up more than two million views.

Social media users were quick to comment on the shocking video.

One wrote: ‘New fear unlocked probably eggs in there now.’

Another posted: ‘I would need a new ear.’

A third added: ‘I’d be sleeping with a nylon over my head.’

Earlier this year, a woman had a cockroach removed from her vagina after she went to the doctors complaining of an ‘extremely strange’ feeling in her genitals.

The patient, who has not been named, visited the clinic in Honduras complaining of feeling ‘extremely restless, agitated and sweaty’.

She had also been unable to sleep the previous night and said it felt like something ‘extremely strange’ was in her vagina.

Doctors were stunned when an examination revealed the dead insect inside her.

It was immediately removed and the woman was discharged after being checked for injuries.

In an enlightening Instagram post, etiquette expert William Hanson has revealed whether it’s impolite to greet someone in the street while wearing sunglasses and listening to music.

The short answer is yes.

He says in the clip, which has been viewed over 14,000 times: ‘If you meet someone in the street and you’re wearing sunglasses and earphones, remove them before you have a conversation.’

MailOnline Travel asked William if exceptions to the ‘shades off’ rule can be made in very bright sunshine.

He said: ‘There will always be exceptions, but it would be better to whip them off for a short second while you greet the other person and put them back on shortly after, than to keep them on.’

And if it’s blinding light and you really do need to keep them on?

He said: ‘Be honest! Ask, “Would you mind awfully if I popped my sunglasses back on?” No one is going to say no.’

And is it OK to slide the sunglasses on to the top of the head rather than take them off altogether?

William continued: ‘In very casual situations, but ideally you’d remove them totally from your face.’

Should the music be turned off before the greeting? Or does it not matter?

William said: ‘It depends if you can multi-task – but most modern headphones automatically pause the music when the earphones are removed. A rare example of where technology can help good manners!’

We also asked William if it was bad manners to wear sunglasses indoors.

He was unequivocal, stating: ‘It’s very bad manners to wear your sunglasses indoors. It isn’t chic. It’s crass.

‘Eye contact is key for building rapport and trust with our fellow humans and sunglasses prevent that from happening.’

The 37-year-old actress shares her sons Noah, 10, Bodhi, nine, and Journey, six, with her ex-husband Brian Austin Green.

Robby Starbuck, who ran for U.S. Congress in 2022, claimed to have witnessed two of the former couple’s children say ‘they were forced by their mom to wear girls clothes as their nanny tried to console them.’

Starbuck, 34, a Republican from California, tweeted that he ‘used to live in the same gated community’ as the famous family and that their kids ‘played at the park.’

Fox fired up her Instagram and lambasted Starbuck for using ‘children as leverage or social currency,’ adding that ‘exploiting my child’s gender identity to gain attention in your political campaign has put you on the wrong side of the universe’ and declaring defiantly: ‘you f***ed with the wrong witch.’

Addressing Starbuck directly, she wrote: ‘i really don’t want to give you this attention because clearly youre a clout chaser but let me teach you something…

She fumed: ‘irregardless of how desperate you may become at any given time to acquire wealth, power, success, or fame – never use children as leverage or social currency. especially under malevolent and erroneous pretense.’

Fox doubled down: ‘exploiting my child’s gender identity to gain attention in your political campaign has put you on the wrong side of the universe.’

The Transformers actress concluded: ‘i have been burned at the stake by insecure narcissistic impotent little men like you many times and yet i’m still here you f***ed with the wrong witch.’

‘It’s a totally bogus story. There are only a few people in their world that can actually verify whether or not a story like this is true and I can tell you with absolute certainty it is not,’ the Beverly Hills, 90210 star told TMZ

He continued: ‘This person trying to claim this is true is a perfect example of someone with selfish motives that does not care about negatively affecting a parent child relationship.’

In his original tweet, Starbuck posted a picture of Megan with her children and wrote: ‘These are Megan Fox’s sons. We used to live in the same gated community and our kids played at the park.’

He continued: ‘I saw 2 of them have a full on breakdown saying they were forced by their mom to wear girls clothes as their nanny tried to console them. It’s pure child abuse. Pray for them.’

Green and Fox went public with the collapse of their marriage in May 2020, months after they initially split.

Along with his children by Fox, Green also has a 21-year-old son named Kassius Lijah Marcil-Green from his past relationship with Vanessa Marcil, as well as an 11-month-old baby boy called Zane Walker with his fiancée Sharna Burgess.

In 2019, Fox declared that her eldest ‘doesn’t care’ about being made fun of for wearing dresses to school.

‘He designs, he draws outfits. He’s very talented, but he’s still six,’ she said during an interview on The Talk. ”He’s really into fashion. He’s the one, like sometimes, he’ll dress himself and he likes to wear dresses, sometimes.’

‘And I send him to a really liberal, like hippy school,’ she continued. ‘But even there, here in California, he still has little boys going like, “Boys don’t wear dresses,” or “Boys don’t wear pink.”‘

Despite the taunts from other boys, Fox said she had been teaching her son to follow his own course in life.

‘We’re going through that now, where I’m trying to teach him to be confident no matter what anyone else says.’

At the time, the Jennifer’s Body star explained that Noah had briefly stopped wearing dresses, but began wearing them again.

‘He came home and I was like, “How was it? Did any of the friends at school have anything to say?” And he was like, “Well, all the boys laughed when I came in,” but he’s like, “I don’t care, I love dresses too much.”‘

‘And it’s dresses or goggles or slippers or whatever. It’s his life, they’re not my clothes,’ he continued. ‘I feel like at 4 at 5, that’s a time when he should be having fun. He’s not harming anyone wearing a dress. So if he wants to wear a dress, good on him.’

I’m a podiatrist – these are the three shoes I’d never wear

  • Flip flops are one of the worst things you can put on your feet, experts say
  • High heels and a popular US trainer also made one podiatrist’s red list

They’re a summer staple and beach favourite.

But flip flops are one of the worst things you can put on your feet, according to one expert.

They can force the toes to grip onto the shoe with every step, leading to painful foot conditions over time, says podiatrist Paul Macaulay.

The Singapore-based expert shared the three pairs of shoes he’d never wear on TikTok, with high heels and a popular US trainer also making his red list.

Also known as slippers and thongs, flip flops are a summer staple. But Mr Macaulay said he would never wear them

Flip flops

Also known as slippers and thongs, flip flops are a summer staple.

But Mr Macaulay said he would never wear them.

‘When you put your foot through the loops, you have to grip for the shoe and that can cause claw toeing.’

This is when the joints in the toe bend like a claw and become inflexible. Poor-fitting shoes are one of the main causes.

The constant gripping of the toes, due to wearing flip flops, can also lead to tendonitis — when a tendon swells and becomes inflamed, causing pain and stiffness.

‘Also, when you’re walking down the street, it’s very easy to trip and fall when you’re wearing them,’ Mr Macaulay said.

‘They don’t offer your feet any support,’ he added.

Having poor support for the heel and arch of the foot can lead to painful and swollen feet and can even cause problems with the hips and knees.

Stilettos

They’re known for not being the comfiest shoe.

But high heels may not only cause temporary discomfort.

Mr Macaulay advised not wearing them due to their risk of injury.

‘I don’t want to hate on all heels because a one-and-a-half inch heel is okay for most people,’ he said.

‘But stilettos — such a thin base — actually my colleague has fallen recently and broken her foot, so it’s such a high risk of injury is worth it, even to look nice?’

Studies have shown that wearing high-heeled shoes increase the risk of injuries, musculoskeletal pain and bunions — bony limps that form on the side of the feet.

And those that have a narrow, pointed toe force the foot into an unnatural V shape, which can cause deformities over time, experts say.

Skechers

The US trainers have been around for more than three decades and cost around £60.

But Mr Macaulay said he doesn’t like Skechers.

‘These slip on ones are made tighter to hold onto your feet, so can squeeze your toes and cause problems like neuromas.’

Neuromas is a thickening of tissue around a nerve in the foot that’s been irritated or damaged.

The condition, which is linked to wearing tight, pointy or high-heeled shoes, can cause shooting, stabbing or burning pain or feel like there is a pebble under the foot.

Mr Macaulay also warned that Skechers are ‘so soft, your foot has to do more work’.

This can leave feet feeling comfortable during the day, but actually leave them more tired compared to wearing more supportive shoes.

‘The final thing is, the shoes just don’t last long,’ he claimed.

‘They wear out so quickly and even though they seem like it’s a great deal, you’re just replacing your shoes every sort of one to two months and I just don’t think that’s very good.’
