Daisy Lowe has sold her Camden townhouse for £1.82million – after she was sued by a celebrity builder for not paying a £45,000 refurbishment bill. 

The fashion model, 34, bought the three-storey period property for £1.55million in 2017 and set about updating it, with trendy decor and a new kitchen extension.

She sold it last year for £1.82million – £20,000 more than the asking price of £1.8million.

The model excitedly told followers on Instagram that she and her partner Jordan Saul are ready to take on a new renovation project together. 

Posting images of her former pad in north London, the star said: ‘While Ivy is napping I am finally getting to sit down and start planning our new renovation. 

‘I am feeling very excited to make a new nest for us (and slightly nervous my baby brain might take over and make every single thing pink). 

‘These are the pictures @inigo.house took of mine & @jordanjaysaul first home together.

‘I am really proud of what we created after lots of blood sweat and tears! Now onto the next.’

Agents Inigo House described it as a ‘wonderful three-storey house within the Camden Square conservation area’. 

It was built in the 1860s and has 1,600 square feet of space, including a bespoke DeVol kitchen.

‘Great care has gone into the design and renovation, which saw the introduction of a glass-roofed extension to the rear; all interior and exterior paints are by the ecologically-sound colour specialists Lick Paint,’ the description went on.

‘Historic features have been revealed, restored, and celebrated, including beautiful Victorian cornicing, box sash windows, chimneypieces and pitch pine floors.

‘Additionally, the house has been fitted with a speaker system throughout to accommodate a Sonos unit.’

The house lies close to the one owned by Amy Winehouse when she died and is in a celeb-filled enclave.

‘The kitchen is arguably the most impressive space,’ the description goes on.

‘Recently designed and completed by DeVol and set within a glass mono-pitch roof extension, the contemporary addition flows effortlessly with the main house, both spatially and in the quality of design.’

Pictures show Daisy’s interior decor touches, perhaps a gift from her designer mother Pearl, throughout the house.

The house uses a lot of pink and green paint, with brightly coloured soft furnishings.

Her wardrobe can be seen bursting at the seams, while a bathroom uses brightly coloured floral wallpaper.

Daisy became embroiled in a row with her former builder last year after he claimed she still owed him money for her kitchen extension.

But the fashion model claimed the work hadn’t been up to scratch.

Daisy and Jordan welcomed their first child, daughter Ivy, in April.

The drug behemoths behind blockbuster obesity medications Mounjro and Ozempic have been sued over claims that they caused stomach paralysis. 

Personal injury firm Morgan & Morgan has taken the case on behalf of a 44-year-old Louisiana woman with diabetes who lost weight while taking the drugs, only to suffer later from severe stomach paralysis marked by such violent vomiting that she has lost some teeth and required multiple trips to the hospital. 

The suit against Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk, which make Mounjaro and Ozempic respectively, alleges that the companies failed to warn consumers about the risk of gastroparesis, or paralysis of the stomach. 

Paul Pennock, one of the lawyers representing the Louisiana patient, said: ‘It is our opinion that these drugs are causing these problems. We think that the evidence is sufficient for us to be able to prove it or we would not have filed the case, and we intend to file many more in the coming days and weeks.

‘Her problems have been so severe that she’s been to the emergency room multiple times, including last weekend. She’s actually even thrown up so violently that she’s lost teeth.’ 

The patient, Jaclyn Bjorklund starting taking Ozempic, initially meant for people with type II diabetes but was frequently prescribed ‘off label’ for weight loss, in the spring of 2022. 

She switched to Mounjaro, another medication that causes weight loss, in July 2023 after over a year of severe stomach problems such as severe, violent vomiting, a hallmark symptom of stomach paralysis. 

She also suffered stomach pain, burning in her gastrointestinal tract, and would throw up whole food hours after eating. 

Stomach paralysis affects the spontanous movement of stomach muscles that are responsible for propelling food through the digestive tract. With impaired stomach muscles, food sits in the stomach for longer than it should without being completely digested. 

But the switch to Mounjaro did not make a difference, she told her lawyers. Mr Pennock said she stopped taking Mounjaro, a once weekly injectable, 10 days ago, while added that there have been many other patients with those issues for much longer than that after they stop taking Mounjaro or other GLP-1 [glucagon-like peptide 1] drugs. 

Pennock said: ‘Many people are experiencing constant vomiting. I don’t mean once a week, I mean every day, all the time. I mean, so bad that these people are going to the emergency room for their vomiting.’

Ozempic and its higher-dose sister drug Wegovy are generically known as semaglutide,  which spurs weight loss by mimicking the actions of GLP-1, the hormone in the brain that regulates appetite and feelings of satiety.

Mounjaro, developed by Eli Lilly which uses the active drug tirzepatide, has risen as Ozempic’s greatest competitor. 

According to the filing: ‘Defendants [Lilly and Novo] acknowledge that gastrointestinal events are well known side effects of the GLP-1 class. However, Defendants have downplayed the severity of the gastrointestinal events caused by Ozempic and Mounjaro, never, for example, warning of the risk of gastroparesis (“paralyzed stomach”) or gastroenteritis’.

The lawyer’s mention of the roughly 400 other patients across 45 states who have enlisted the firm’s help in suing for damages of an unknown total suggests the drug behemoths could expect a wave of personal injury lawsuits. 

One such patient was Emily Wright, 38, a teacher in Toronto, Canada. She took Ozempic for four years and lost 80 pounds. However, she was also diagnosed with gastroparesis and now vomits so frequently that she had to quit her job.

‘I’ve almost been off Ozempic for a year, but I’m still not back to my normal,’ she told CNN. 

Another patient, Joanie Knight, 37, started taking the blockbuster weight-loss drug in 2019 and began suffering from severe nausea and vomiting two years into the medication. 

Her ordeal began on her birthday in 2021, when she found that she couldn’t swallow her food. ‘It felt like it was stuck in my throat,’ she said. 

Despite having eaten very little that day, the incident triggered severe vomiting. That first bout of sickness kicked off a pattern of severe nausea all the time, no matter how little she ate. She also took anti-nausea pills ‘like they were candy.’ 

Doctors performed a gastric emptying study, a test to figure out how much time it takes a meal to move through a person’s stomach. 

They found that after four hours, more than 35 percent of her food was still in her stomach. Normally, less than 10 percent remains after that long. 

Ms Knight eventually had to have gastric bypass surgery to improve her stomach emptying, though she still suffers long-term effects. Now she can only have a few bites of her favorite foods. 

The causes of gastroparesis are largely unknown, but it is thought to be a complication of diabetes, which is why many of these patients take Ozempic in the first place. 

Long-term effects of the drugs are still under investigation as the drugs are relatively new. Emerging research shows that patients who stop taking one of  the injectables is vulnerable to regaining all lost weight and may be required to stay on the medication for long period of time. 

Despite the many unknowns, the pharmaceutical industry is reeping massive profits.  Novo Nordisk owns a staggering majority — 94 percent — of the branded obesity medicine market in the US.

Novo’s value has soared to 2.3trillion Danish kroner ($336billion), making it Europe’s second-most valuable company. 

It has even knocked the 160-year-old Swiss conglomerate Nestle into third place. 

Eli Lilly, the maker of Mounjaro, is also staking out its position in the obesity drug space. 

According to analysts at Morgan Stanley Research, Lilly’s tirzepatide, assuming it clinches the green light from the FDA — could make around $5.4 billion by 2030. 

Trey Songz has been sued for sexual assault after a woman claimed he ‘exposed’ her breast from her bikini top at a 2013 pool party without her consent, according to legal documents obtained by TMZ on Friday.

The Bottoms Up rapper, 38, was also recently hit in February with a separate $25 million lawsuit after a woman claimed he allegedly raped her in 2016.

The woman, who is going by the anonymous name of Jane Doe, is not only going after the Grammy-nominated singer, but also the R&B star’s production company, record executive, Kevin Liles, and also Atlantic Records.

In the documents, she stated that the ‘multiple defendants’ are responsible because they should have been aware of his ‘sexual proclivities’ and further claimed that they ‘failed to keep Trey under control during the event.’

Her attorney, per TMZ, claimed that the woman was ‘humiliated’ following the incident and resulted in ‘long-lasting emotional distress.’

Due to the ’embarrassment’ that also followed her, the attorney claimed that the woman quit her ‘promising career’ just months after the alleged assault.  

Last year in 2022, the woman sent a ‘demand letter’ to Trey over the incident, which happened at the Foxwoods Liquid Sundays with Trey Songz event in 2013 in Connecticut. 

She is seeking a total of $10 million in damages and also included a video that caught the incident on camera. 

However, Trey’s attorney, Michael Freedman, slammed the allegations in a statement to TMZ on Friday.

‘This is yet another example of decade-old allegations being repurposed into a federal case to take advantage of California’s constitutionally questionable new look back window. We look forward to vindicating Trey on the merits in court.’ 

Earlier this year in February, Songz was hit with a $25 million lawsuit, which was connected to a previous sexual assault accusation that had been dismissed after the statute of limitations had expired. 

The woman, who also went by Jane Doe in legal documents obtained by Rolling Stone, went after Trey, his record label, manager Kevin Liles and 300 Entertainment as defendants, claiming the parties should be held responsible for the his actions.

Initially, a woman referenced as Jane Doe, filed a rape report in February 2022, claiming Songz, born Tremaine Aldon Neverson, forced her to have anal sex without her consent at a house party in LA on March 26, 2016.

She maintained that she thought they were going upstairs for consensual sex, but without warning he ‘threw her to the ground’ and allegedly raped her, all the while ignoring her screams out in pain.

Apparently, the naming of record labels and affiliated associates is a relatively new strategy that legal teams are incorporating in sexual abuse claims against musicians.

In the wake of the new lawsuit, Songz responded to the claims against him by taking to his Instagram Stories at the time. 

‘Lies will never be the truth. No matter who chooses to believe such, he wrote in the post that ended with the Arabic phrase,’ alhamdulillah’, which translates in English to ‘praise be to God’ or sometimes ‘thank God.’

In support of the new suit, Doe referenced that she’s not the first person to call out the singer and rapper for violent behavior, and proceeded to list 10 other incidents, which included an attack at a bowling alley in October where he was alleged to have punched a man and a woman during an altercation.

The woman also told police Neverson had ‘dragged her by the hair’ after she allegedly tried to stop him from entering a bathroom with a woman from his entourage.

Dylan Gonzalez, former college women’s basketball player, accused the Heart Attack star of raping her in Las Vegas. Police in Las Vegas reportedly looked into the allegations but closed the investigation in April 2022. 

In another case, Neverson was sued for $10 million in Miami in Dec. 2021 by a woman who claimed she had felt his ‘fingers being inserted into her vagina’ without her consent during a New Year’s Eve party in 2018. In every case waged against him, he has denied any wrongdoing.

In January 2017, Nope actress Keke Palmer, also came forward and claimed that Trey had used ‘sexual intimidation’ to make her appear in his music video for Pick Up The Phone. 

According to People, the mother of one jumped to Instagram after he used her cameo in the video without her permission or consent. 

‘This is preposterous. How am I in this video Trey? After you found me in a closet HIDING because I was so afraid of anymore conflict,’ she began. 

‘Literally my last option was to hide because you all would not listen when I said I did not want to be in the video the FIRST time. Just cause you give someone food and alcohol and throw in a little sexual intimidation doesn’t mean they will buckle.’ 

The former Nickelodeon star further claimed that the singer had ‘secretly filmed’ her and then ‘put me in the video against my wishes.’ 

Trey has other run-ins with the law, such as being arrested in 2021 at an AFC Championship Game and late last year in December, turned himself in after allegedly punching two people in a bowling alley. He pled guilty to disorderly conduct. 

Songz, who is a father to a four-year-old son, signed his record deal with Atlantic back in 2003, which ultimately led to his debut studio album I Gotta Make It (2006), that featured the first single Gotta Make It featuring rapper Twista.

His follow-up album, Tre Day (2007), spawned his first top 20 single Can’t Help But Wait

In total, he has released eight studio albums albums over the years, including the most recent, Back Home (2020).
