A Proud Boy who was found guilty of pepper spraying cops during the Jan 6 Capitol riot has vanished before sentencing – prompting a manhunt by the FBI.

Christopher Worrell, 52, of Naples, Florida, was part of the mob storming the Capitol as Congress was certifying Joe Biden‘s presidential victory on Jan 6 2021 and could be facing 14 years behind bars.

The Friday sentencing was canceled and a bench warrant for his arrest issued under seal on Tuesday, according to court records. FBI agents are now trying to track Worrell down.

The U.S. attorney’s office for Washington, D.C., encouraged the public to share any information about his whereabouts.

Worrell had been on house arrest in Florida since his release from jail in Washington in November 2021, less than a month after a judge substantiated his civil-rights complaints about his treatment in the jail.

U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth found that DC jail officials had failed to provide Worrell with adequate treatment for his non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and a broken hand that may have required surgery.

According to Associated Press, phone numbers listed for the 52-year-old and the woman named as his custodian during his house arrest were not functional.

More than three dozen people charged in the Capitol siege have been identified by federal authorities as leaders, members or associates of the Proud Boys, whose members describe it as a politically incorrect men’s club for ‘Western chauvinists.’

Former Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio and three other members of the extremist group were convicted of seditious conspiracy in May.

A total of about 1,000 people have been charged with federal crimes related to the riot. 

More than 600 of them have pleaded guilty or been convicted after trials decided by a jury or judge. 

About 600 have been sentenced, with over half getting terms of imprisonment ranging from three days to 18 years.

Meanwhile, former U.S. President Donald Trump was indicted on felony charges for working to overturn the results of the 2020 election in the run-up to the violent Capitol riot.

On Monday, Trump attacked the federal judge overseeing his Jan 6 case just days after she warned him against making statements that might intimidate witnesses or impact the ‘integrity’ of the trial.

Judge Amy Chutkan issued repeated warnings to Trump, including referencing his ‘terms of release,’ during a hearing last week with his lawyers in Washington, D.C.

Trump went after her early Monday – quoting the judge as she imposed a 15-month sentence on a woman who breached the Senate chamber January 6. 

Trump said the language came from ‘highly partisan Judge Tanya Chutkan, angrily sentencing a J-6er in October of 2022. She obviously wants me behind bars. VERY BIASED & UNFAIR!.’

Trump published an all-caps quotation by Chutkan, as she sentenced Christine Priola, a school occupational therapist who pleaded guilty to obstructing an official proceeding – one of the charges Trump is also facing. He posted it around 1 am Monday.

‘This was nothing but an attempt to overthrow the government… by people who were upset their guy lost,’ said Chutkan.

‘I see the videotapes. I see the footage of the flags and the signs that people were carrying and the hats that they were wearing, and the garb,’ the judge said in October. 

‘And the people who mobbed that Capitol were there in fealty, in loyalty to one man, not to the Constitution, of which most of the people who come before me seem woefully ignorant, not to the ideals of this county and not to the principles of democracy. It’s blind loyalty to one person who, by the way, remains free to this day.’

The judge also said she believed Priola was ‘sincere’ in her regret. Before sentencing, she wrote the court: ‘I do not like it when people break the law or take the law into their own hands. 

‘I do not want people out there acting like morons. I was one of those morons. I caused great harm to others and it caused a ripple effect that I could never undo.’ 

Trump’s blast came despite warnings from the judge that were aimed more at comments that might taint the jury or intimidate witnesses. She went back and forth with Trump lawyer John Lauro Friday about language in her order governing materials that prosecutors must share.

She ultimately decided to apply it only to ‘sensitive information,’ not to to all the transcripts and material he might receive. She also imposed terms on how he can view it, requiring him to relinquish his cell phone and not view documents while having access to a photocopier.

She also issued a warning to to Trump’s lawyers that ‘inflammatory statements’ would bring faster trial – something they appear eager to avoid.

Chutkan, a Barack Obama appointee, issued repeated warnings to Trump’s lawyers about him making public statements. She said she understood he had First Amendment rights, but said during a criminal trial his desire to respond to opponents ‘has to yield.’

That came as Lauro brought up former Vice President Mike Pence, a possible witness in the case, who Trump has attacked publicly amid Pence’s statements that he didn’t have the authority to send back certified votes as Trump claims he did. Both men are seeking the GOP presidential nomination. 

Trump also ripped Special Counsel Jack Smith, who is overseeing the case, following reports prosecutors obtained a warrant to access his Twitter account.  

‘How dare lowlife prosecutor, Deranged Jack Smith, break into my former Twitter account without informing me and, indeed, trying to completely hide this atrocity from me,’ Trump wrote. 

‘What could he possibly find out that is not already known. Just like the early morning raid of Mar-a-Lago! Why isn’t the DOJ raiding Crooked Joe Biden, the most CORRUPT (and Incompetent!) President in the history of the United States?’

A Miami real estate agent has been sentenced to three and a half years in prison for fraudulently obtaining more than $380,000 in COVID relief loans, which she spent on leasing a Bentley, renting a luxury apartment and having cosmetic procedures.

Daniela Rendon, 31, pleaded guilty to one count of wire fraud in April 2023 after the prosecution dropped six additional counts of wire fraud, two counts of money laundering and one count of aggravated identity theft.

Rendon, a mother of three, admitted her actions were ‘motivated by insatiable greed.’

She told the a federal court in Miami on Thursday: ‘Looking back, it becomes all too tempting to utter the words ‘everybody was doing it’ as a feeble attempt to rationalize my actions.

‘I regretfully confess that I once foolishly believed that the victims of my crimes were merely the faceless entities of the U.S. Government.’

U.S. District Judge K. Michael Moore appreciated her contrition and the 30-page thesis she submitted, which detailed her remorse.

He sentenced her to the minimum prison time, sparing her an additional year behind bars.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Jonathan Bailyn recommended a three and a half year sentence while her defense attorney, Robert Mandell, asked for a lenient term of five years’ probation.

She could have faced 20 years in prison for wire fraud.

‘It’s not as easy to see that you’re really stealing from your neighbors, your friends and other citizens,’ said Moore, according to The Miami Herald.

‘It’s their money that goes to the Treasury that makes it possible to have these kinds of programs.’

In the early months of the pandemic, federal funds were poured into businesses to keep them afloat and enable them to pay their essential overheads.

The Small Business Administration rolled out at speed several pandemic relief programs, including the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) and the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans.

They are now attempting to claw back misspent funds, and prosecute those responsible.

A watchdog report released in June 2023 by the Office of the Inspector General for the SBA found 17 percent of the $1.2 trillion were stolen through fraud schemes.

The estimated fraud breakdown is $136 billion from EIDL programs and $64 billion through PPP loans.

‘The pandemic presented a whole-of-government challenge,’ wrote Hannibal ‘Mike’ Ware, the inspector general, in the report.

‘Fraudsters found vulnerabilities and coordinated schemes to bypass controls and gain easy access to funds meant for eligible small businesses and entrepreneurs adversely affected by the economic crisis.’

Rendon was able to get her hands on the money earmarked for struggling businesses by falsifying business data to secure the PPP funds.

Rendon applied for her business loans through the SBA’s Paycheck Protection Program for $371,000 and the Economic Injury Disaster Relief program for $10,000. 

The Colombian-born realtor fabricated information including revenue, payroll, costs, tax information, and employee count.

The falsified data was submitted to lenders in New Jersey and Idaho, with the loans paid directly to her through her corporate bank account.

Rendon, who refers to herself as an ‘Ultra Luxury’ real estate agent on LinkedIn, then transferred the payments to herself and her inner circle of friends.

She arranged for a payroll processor in New Jersey to process the loans and cut checks that were then issued to family and friends.

Rendon did not shy away from the amount of wealth she had accumulated, regularly flaunting herself on her social media accounts and her 33,000 followers.

Among other things, the money was used to lease a 2021 Bentley Bentayga, which is sold for around $181,000, which she showed off on her Instagram account.

The money was also used to rent a luxury apartment in Biscayne Bay, undergo cosmetic procedures and to fix a pair of her designer shoes. 

Megan Thee Stallion was pictured onstage for the first time since Tory Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in prison Tuesday, after shooting her three years ago.

The Houston native, 28, was pictured onstage as a featured act at the 2023 Outside Lands Music Festival held at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park.

The Sweetest Pie artist was one in a number of prominent artists to take the stage at the festival, as other performers slated to appear included the Foo Fighters, Kendrick Lamar, Lana Del Rey, Janelle Monáe and The 1975, among others.

The Cry Baby singer took the stage in a magenta pink bodysuit embroidered with pearls, with floral adornments across her chest.

The Thot S*** singer had her red locks down and parted as she delivered her set, at one point launching into an emotional statement likely connected to the controversy stemming from the criminal proceedings surrounding Lanez.

‘I just wanna say – f*** all my haters!’ the musical artist, whose full name is Megan Jovon Ruth Pete, told the crowd in a clip shared to Twitter by the account @itsKenBarbie. 

The Grammy winner continued, ‘None of that s*** you was doing or saying broke me.’

The Hot Girl Summer vocalist’s outing onstage came less than a week after Lanez received a 10-year prison sentence in Los Angeles Superior Court Tuesday, in connection with three felony convictions in the July 2020 incident in the Hollywood Hills.

Lanez, 31, was convicted in December of assault with a semiautomatic firearm; keeping a loaded and unregistered firearm in a vehicle; and discharging the firearm with gross negligence.

In the sentencing, Judge David Herriford said that the positive portrait Lanez’s relatives and friends had painted in their testimony in the trial was ‘difficult to reconcile’ with his actions toward Megan.

‘Sometimes good people do bad things,’ Herriford told the court, according to the AP. ‘Actions have consequences, and there are no winners in this case.’

In the trial, Megan testified Lanez had shot at her feet and yelled at her to dance as she was getting out of an SUV following a party at the home of Kylie Jenner.

Megan, who initially did not publicly identify Lanez as the shooter, testified she had to undergo surgery to take bullet fragments out of her feet.

‘Since I was viciously shot by the defendant, I have not experienced a single day of peace,’ the songstress said in a statement a prosecutor read prior to the sentencing. ‘Slowly but surely, I’m healing and coming back, but I will never be the same.’

Prior to his sentence being read, Lanez – who faced up to 22 years in custody – had asked the judge for a short sentence or probation, stating his regret of the incident in hindsight.

‘If I could turn back the series of events that night and change them, I would,’ Lanez told the judge. ‘The victim was my friend. The victim is someone I still care for to this day. Everything I did wrong that night, I take full responsibility for.’

Lanez was credited 10 months for time served, as he has been in custody since his conviction in December.

Lanez’s lead lawyer Jose Baez said he was ‘extremely disappointed’ with the sentence, and felt that it was ‘to set an example’ since the rapper is a celebrity, adding, ‘He´s not an example – he’s a human being.’

Baez added, ‘I have seen vehicular homicide and other cases where there’s death, and the defendant still gets less than 10 years.’

Lanez’s attorneys said their next step is to appeal the verdict and ask for the rapper’s release on bail in the interim.

Prosecutors spoke positively of Megan for her fortitude in coming forward amid online hate and mockery aimed at her over the incident involving Lanez.

Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón said, ‘I hope that Miss Pete’s bravery gives hope to those who feel helpless.’

In an Elle piece published Tuesday, Megan opened up about the lessons she felt were crucial in the wake of Lanez’s sentencing.

‘For anyone who has survived violence, please know your feelings are validx,’ she said. ‘You matter. You are not at fault. You are important. You are loved. You are not defined by your trauma.’

She continued, ‘Just because you are in a bad situation doesn’t mean you are a bad person. Our value doesn’t come from the opinions of other people. As long as you stand your ground and live in your truth, nobody can take your power.’

Lanez stated he was not apologizing to the singer in a statement he issued on his Instagram page in the wake of the sentencing.

‘This week in court I took responsibility for all verbal and intimate moments that I shared with the parties involved,’ he said. ‘That’s it.’

He continued, ‘In no way shape or form was I apologizing for the charges I’m being wrongfully convicted of. I remain on the stance that I refuse to apologize for something that I did not do … tough times don’t last, tough people do.’
