Tom Sandoval spotted leaving celebrity hotspot The Fleur Room solo… after bringing new girlfriend Tii to the house he still shares with ex Ariana Madix

Tom Sandoval, the verified villain of Vanderpump Rules, was spotted leaving the celeb hot spot The Fleur Room in West Hollywood on Friday night.

The Tom Tom co-owner, 40, kept his head down as he exited the establishment.

The reality TV personality — who called Rachel Leviss ‘petty’ after she blocked him on Instagram — wore a black, red blue, and green striped cardigan over a scoop-neck black T-shirt and black pants.

A black ball cap sat on his head and he kept comfortable in a pair of sneakers.

The Schwartz and Sandy’s co-owner is still experiencing backlash for his affair with Rachel Leviss, 29, while he was in a decade-long relationship with Ariana Madix, 38.

This week, Sandoval came under fire for bringing his current flame, singer Tii, 25, to the house he shares with Ariana.

After his breakup. he has continued to reside at the same Valley Village home with Madix. The former couple purchased the farmhouse-style home together for $2 million in 2019.

The Dancing with the Stars contestant appeared on Scheana Shay‘s podcast and explained that she would not ‘f**k [herself] over’ by making any rash decisions.

‘I have never been someone who came from money. I know how quickly that goes away. I’m taking care of myself,’ she explained.

‘A lot of people on the internet seem to think I’m rolling in money right now. I have a lot of places where that money has to go before I get [it],’ she continued.

Despite living with Sandoval, the actress made it clear that she keeps their interactions to a minimum.

‘I have a pretty decent setup,’ she said. ‘My room is kind of like my little apartment… I stay in my own little zone.’

Madix revealed that she keeps her door ‘locked just in case’ and sleeps ‘easier at night not giving a f**k when he comes in that door.’

‘Yes, we’re in the same house, but I don’t have to think about [him],’ the former bartender told listeners.

Earlier this week she also explained in a comment on an Instagram post that she’s not in a rush to disrupt the lives of her dog and elderly cat.

‘I live in my home that I own while working with my lawyer and financial advisors to navigate the best path forward before uprooting my dog and my elderly cat and causing more trauma for the three of us,’ she told a follower.

And Madix has moved on from her ex and is currently dating Daniel Wai, who Shay absolutely gushed about.

‘You’re with someone for the first time — that I’ve personally ever seen — who supports you, who’s happy to help you and empower you and also take a backseat and just f**king let you shine,’ Shay praised.

Some of the most powerful people in America assembled in Washington, DC, today to help shape the future of artificial intelligence (AI) safeguards.

The unprecedented meeting took place as the US Senate gears up to draft legislation that will regulate the rapidly advancing AI industry, which many of the world’s best minds fear could destroy humanity if left unchecked.

The gathering brought 22 of the most influential voices in the tech sector – who had a combined net worth of over $400billion – and 100 senators under one roof, bridging the gap between Silicon Valley and the nation’s capital.

The high-profile event included notorious AI critic Elon Musk, who today called for tighter regulation of AI, as well as Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates and the CEOs of Google and IBM

The private meeting was a crash course for legislators on how best to regulate AI: a technical achievement which some of these same industry leaders likened to the ‘extinction’-level risk of nuclear weapons

Those who fear AI fear it could surpass human intelligence and develop independent thinking. This means it would no longer need or listen to humans, in a worst-case scenario stealing nuclear codes, create pandemics and spark world wars.

So, who was at the meeting?

In additional to his reputation for massive wealth, Elon Musk is known for his influential role in AI.

As the CEO of Tesla, he has been a driving force behind the development of autonomous vehicles, pushing the boundaries of AI in the automotive industry with features like Tesla’s Autopilot.

The 52-year-old has also been a vocal advocate for AI safety and has co-founded OpenAI to ensure responsible AI development.

After the meeting with US lawmakers today, Musk has been a vocal proponent of AI safety, and said a ‘referee’ is  needed to monitor systems.

You’ll never look at a hotel mini fridge the same.

A super buff airline pilot has revealed how you can stay fit in your hotel room, by using various pieces of furniture as makeshift gym equipment – including the cooling unit.

Joey Miuccio, 28, from Florida, regularly posts about keeping fit on the go, but for those who don’t have gym access or time to get outdoors, he demonstrates some simple yet effective moves using everything from a chair to a mini fridge and even a mattress.

In a TikTok video titled ‘best hotel room full body workout,’ Joey starts off by bench pressing a bench. He says if the bench in your room is ‘too light and you can toss it around… then grab a bigger bench.’

After performing literal bench presses, the pilot turns his attention to ‘chair squats.’

He performs these by putting the desk chair over his head while enthusiastically squatting up and down.

To work another part of his body, he goes on to perform shoulder presses with the chair by raising it up and down while kneeling down on the floor.

The rolling chair then has another function as an ab rolling tool.

To do a run of ab rolls, Joey leans on the chair with his hands and rolls it back and forth while kneeling.

Moving to another part of his hotel room, Joey unplugs the mini fridge.

Instead of using it to keep food and drinks cool, he says you can use it as a functional weight to ‘do curls and get jacked.’

In the clip he can be seen straining as he lifts the bulky unit up and down.

To finish off his hotel room workout in style, Joey instructs viewers to ‘just do a handstand… cos you’re feelin’ good, you’re feelin’ jacked. And that’s how we do it.’

Many viewers thanked Joey for his simple workout tips.

One commenter wrote: ‘That’s hilarious but practical at the same time.’

And another said: ‘Saving this because I’m going on tour next month and will be away from my home gym.’

One viewer asked Joey to ‘bench the mattress next,’ and he bowed to the request.

In a follow up video, the fitness enthusiast filmed himself lifting his hotel room mattress up and down by extending his arms and legs.

He explains in the caption that lifting the mattress serves as a ‘bench press and leg press all in one,’ and it provides ‘great full body movement.’

In another video, Joey shows how you can do a simple ten minute workout minus furniture in your hotel room.

Some of the moves he performs atop a bathroom towel include pushups, squats, in and outs and crunches.

After a minute’s rest, he then goes into close grip pushups, jump lunges and then long sit ups ‘all the way to touch your toes.’

Thanks to his sweat-inducing workout antics, Joey has built a loyal following online, with more than 175,000 followers on TikTok and 183,000 on Instagram.

Whether it’s seeing the Northern Lights or a thundering waterfall, witnessing wonders of nature on your travels can make for the trip of a lifetime.

To make the experience all the more magical, spend the night somewhere that offers a spectacular front-row view of these spectacles of nature.

Here we present seven retreats for nature lovers that guarantee breathtaking vistas, from a Hawaiian cabin to a contemporary hotel in Iceland.

They’re all listed by the property rental site Coolstays. Scroll down to pick your favourite…

The best time to see the Northern Lights, Coolstays reveals, is if you stay during the winter months, a time of year when guests can also enjoy ‘incredible views of the moon and stars’.

One of the cabins at the retreat – which was created by the jazz musician and composer Havard Lund – houses a music studio, while another features a sauna, Coolstays says. Prices start at £173 ($222) per night for up to 10 guests.

Set in the Iguazu National Park in Argentina, the ‘beautiful’ hotel offer views of the falls – which lie along the border of Argentina and Brazil – from multiple vantage points.

‘Northern Italy sees some of the most frequent lightning in Europe so anyone looking to catch a glimpse of the giant sparks of electricity should consider a stay in Mirror Houses in Bolzano,’ Coolstays says.

This pair of holiday houses, which look out across the Dolomites mountains, each have a ‘quirky reflective exterior’ that offers ‘quite the spectacle when lightning strikes’.

The properties, designed by the architect Peter Pichler, share a garden that’s filled with apple trees and features a saltwater swimming pool. Prices begin at £1,175 ($1,506) per week.

Other homestay rental sites are available.

HOW ROOMS WITH THE MOST AMAZING VIEWS ARE ALL THE RAGE

Claire Wills, co-founder and director of Coolstays, said the company has noticed an increased demand for holiday properties that offer guests the chance to experience ‘natural phenomena in real life’.

She added: ‘These amazing natural spectacles are a once-in-a-lifetime event for most of us so it’s important that the experience is memorable.

‘A lot of this comes down to where you’re staying. Yes, you can go and marvel at Iguazu Falls’ monumental drop and stay in any nearby hotel, but what about staying right on the edge and watching the cascading water from your bedroom window?’

Iguazu Falls has seen a 160 per cent increase in Google searches in the UK over the last year, according to Coolstays.

Google searches for ‘top 10 best places to see the Northern Lights’ have increased by 200 per cent in the last year alone while searches for ‘Japan hot springs’ have increased worldwide by 70 per cent, it adds.

Revealed: Ten VERY odd room service orders made in hotels around the world, from the USA to Japan via the UK

Life in the hospitality industry is notoriously tough. And some guests don’t help – especially the ones who leave staff scratching their heads with odd room service requests.

Such as diet water.

When hundreds of hotels around the world were asked by researchers for their most bizarre room service requests for a global study, this impossible drink was flagged as a room service order by a hotel in the U.S.

In total, 473 hotels worldwide took part in the survey, by Hotels.com, which also revealed that properties had been asked for ‘bison meat’ and an egg-less version of an egg dish called shakshuka.

The typical North African dish consists of poached eggs in a simmering tomato sauce with spices, meaning the guest was presumably left with not much more than tomatoes on their plate.

10 BIZARRE ROOM SERVICE ORDERS

Diet water, requested by a hotel guest in the US.

Melted ice cream, requested by a hotel guest in Japan.

Blowfish, requested by a hotel guest in the U.S.

Boiled bottled water, requested by a hotel guest in the U.S.

A guest in South Korea brought their own fish to a hotel and asked staff to cook it.

‘Cockle popcorn’ – or deep-fried cockles – from a hotel guest in the UK.

A rice bowl for dogs, requested by a hotel guest in France.

Bison meat, requested by a guest at a hotel in the U.S.

Shakshuka – a dish consisting of poached eggs in a tomato sauce – without the eggs, requested by a hotel guest in South Korea.

A no-egg-white omelette, requested by a hotel guest in the U.S.

Another U.S guest asked for ‘boiled bottled water’, while one in South Korea showed up at their hotel with a raw fish and asked staff to cook it.

Other odd requests from the Hotels.com survey included ‘melted ice cream’, ‘cockle popcorn’ – or deep-fried cockles, a ‘no-egg-white omelette’, a blowfish, and a ‘rice bowl for dogs’.

Results from the study also revealed ‘what’s in when it comes to dining in’ – a far more conventional list.

The most popular order worldwide was a burger (40 per cent), beating the classic club sandwich, pizza, and even chips.

For Brits, it’s all about burgers in bed, with the most popular time for room service being between 7pm and 8pm,’ the study said.

‘While it’s all about escargot and oysters in public, burgers and chips rule in the room, with 75 per cent of hotels saying that people order fancier food in the hotel restaurant.’

British food orders are evolving year on year, with more than half (55 per cent) of hotels seeing an increase in vegan orders over the past year, a higher proportion of properties seeing an increase in requests for vegetarian or dairy-free dishes.

The inaugural study – named the Room Service Report – further found that demand for room service is on the rise globally, according to almost two in five hotels, and almost a third (30 per cent) of travellers spend at least £100 on their room service bill per night.

Melanie Fish, spokesperson for Hotels.com, said: ‘Room service holds a special place in the hearts of hotel guests.

‘Whether it’s a treat-yourself moment or must-have after a long day of sightseeing.’

The study looked at global room service trends from April 5 to 23, 2023, across hotels currently offering in-room dining in the U.S, UK, France, Canada, Mexico, South Korea, Japan, Norway, Sweden and Denmark.

Hotels.com is encouraging travellers to make the most of room service during their next stay and will be giving 100 guests up to £100 to spend on their ‘unusual requests’. Enter at Hotels.com/roomservice

Bedbugs can be a recurring nighmare if found in hotels if you’re unlucky enough to discover them before it’s too late.

And with the post-pandemic rise in global travel, these blood-sucking critters have ever more opportunity to  discreetly jump from one occupant to another.

Now an expert has revealed the tell-tale signs for bed bugs in your hotel room, and to avoid bringing an infestation back home with you.

One TikToker has shared a helpful video explaining exactly how you check before turning the lights off for that well-earned holiday rest.

Expert Cassie, who goes by @cassiethebugdoc on TikTok, posted a clip of herself going through the step-by-step process of how you should check your room for any bedbugs

She captioned the video: 'Inspecting your hotel room for bed bugs is an important part of traveling'

Cassie, who goes by @cassiethebugdoc on TikTok, posted a clip of herself going through her step-by-step process of how to check your room for any bedbugs.

She captioned the video: ‘Inspecting your hotel room for bed bugs is an important part of traveling’.

Cassie, an Entomologist, says: ‘I thought I’d take the opportunity to show you how to inspect your hotel rooms for bedbugs to ensure you don’t take any home.’

She said that the first thing she does as soon as she checks into her room is leave her baggage in the bathroom, advising that it is best to leave it on hardwood or tile surfaces. This is because it stops the bedbugs from crawling into your suitcase from the get go.

She continues: ‘So to find bedbugs, it’s important to understand a little bit about bedbug biology.

‘First, they’re mostly nocturnal feeders, which means they’re only going to try and feed on people at night.’

And because people spend the majority of their night sleeping in the bed, she said, it is important to begin your inspection there.

She said: ‘The first thing that I do is take the covers off the bed and and make sure they’re all clean.

‘But then you take your bottom sheet and lift it up as well.’

Cassie demonstrates this, as tells travelers that it is important you don’t see any stains or spots – particularly brown spots – on the sheets.

These brown spots are most important to look out for, as the expert explained they’re called fecal spots, left after bed bugs have ‘digested blood’. The creatures leave behind ‘brown fecal spots resembling that of blood.’

She said that in some cases you can also go as far as checking the actual mattress, but sometimes hotels have casing around them, which protects the bedbugs from getting in there in the first place.

The bedbug expert said that if your hotel room or accommodation has drawers, it is important you check there too before popping in your items.

Once again, she advised her followers on TikTok to check for any blood stains or bedbugs in them.

She continued: ‘If you have any chairs in your hotel room, it is a good idea to lift up the bottom cushion.

‘And do the same inspection on that cushion that you did on your mattress.’

And Cassie gave one more tip for travelers, after they have unpacked all their items from their luggage.

She said: ‘Even when you unpack your luggage, go ahead and put it up on a surface so that it is not on the ground picking up any insects, not just bedbugs, before you leave.’

And Cassie’s followers on TikTok praised her for sharing the insightful and helpful tips.

One person wrote: ‘Very informative, thank-you.’

The same user also added: ‘And what in the world with the locked mattress encasement thing. Is that common?’ as Cassie replied: ‘I see them locked in hotel rooms more than not. I would assume it’s so people don’t open them up & risk exposure of the mattress to bed bugs.’

Another TikTok user said: ‘Great tips!!!’
