Patricia Arquette was joined by her daughter Harlow Jane for the premiere of her directorial debut, Gonzo Girl, during the Toronto International Film Festival, held at the Royal Alexandra Theatre on Thursday. 

The Medium star, 55, displayed her trim frame in a chic black leather skirt with a side zipper, a white silk blouse, and a black satin jacket.

The actress – who recently stepped out with sister Rosanna Arquette following her Malibu shopping center car crash – added some height to her look with a pair of chunky gold heels and wore her light blonde tresses in a straight style. 

Meanwhile Harlow, 20, was a vision in a striped multi-color gown with beaded fringe sleeves. Arquette’s daughter – born Harlow Olivia Calliope Jane – also sported a pin in support of the SAG-AFTRA strikes. 

Other stars at the Canadian festival included William Dafoe as well as Camila Morrone, who both star in the film.  

Patricia wore gentle glam for the night, while Harlow opted for black eyeliner and a matte shade of peachy lipstick. 

Harlow’s father is Arquette’s ex-husband, actor Thomas Jane, to whom she was married from 2006 to 2011. 

Harlow has followed in her parents’ footsteps with her acting career, and even starred alongside mom Patricia on Apple TV+ comedy High Desert this year, as a younger version of Patricia’s character.

Harlow previously revealed she initially rebelled against being an actress.

‘I definitely rebelled against it for as long as I could,’ she told People in an interview.

‘And then when I got into high school, I ended up going to this very arts-heavy boarding school, and I took a theater class. And that’s when I decided, “Yeah, I don’t know if I can not do this anymore for the rest of my life.” I can’t live a lie of wanting to be anything else.’

She added, ‘I couldn’t help but secretly love it.’

Leonardo DiCaprio’s ex-girlfriend Camila Morrone, 26, also attended the premiere, and had all eyes on her in a beautiful sleeveless black gown with a beaded bodice.

The actress wore delicate glowing glam for the occasion, and her brunette locks were parted in the middle, gently falling down her shoulders. 

Joining her on the red carpet was Willem Dafoe, 68.

Ever the gentleman the actor escorted Camilla down the red carpet hand-in-hand. 

The actor cut a dapper figure in a fitted black suit, but opted to go without a tie for the occasion.

Dafoe stars as Walker Reade in the drama film.

Actress Bleu Sidel, 28, who is the daughter of Patricia’s sister Rosanna Arquette, looked incredible in an emerald gown with a head scarf.

She paired the mesmerizing ensemble with electric blue pointed-toe heels.

Gonzo Girl is based on the 2015 novel of the same name by Cheryl Della Pietra and will be adapted by Rebecca Thomas and Jessica Caldwell.  

It takes place in 1992 and follows an aspiring writer named Alley Russo (Morrone) who has an exciting new job as assistant to legendary ‘gonzo journalist’ Walker Reade (Dafoe) where she lives on his compound/party house in Aspen. 

The synopsis continues according to Deadline: ‘Under orders to help the famously chaotic Walker settle down to work on his long-promised latest blur of fact and fiction, Alley soon learns the truth: a lifetime of chronic substance abuse has chipped away at Walker’s writing ability, until all he can produce from his drug-drenched brain are pages of word salad.

‘Obliged to help a manic, sodden blowhard get through one relatively uncreative day after another, Alley begins to transform Walker’s rants and raves into publishable prose by running it through the filter of her own mind and her own typewriter, an act of moral support / plagiarism / treachery that keeps Walker’s career alive — for a few more months.’

Arquette will also star on the project as Claudia, the minder and manager for many years, of ‘gonzo journalist’ Reade.

Gonzo journalism is a style of journalism that is written without claims of objectivity, often including the reporter as part of the story using a first-person narrative.

The U.S. premiere of the fifth installment in the Indiana Jones film franchise was held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Wednesday.

And while there was no shortage of star power on the red carpet for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, a recent Oscar-winning actor had a surprise reunion with Harrison Ford, the man behind the role of renowned archaeologist and adventurer, Indiana Jones.

In a show of support for his Indiana Jones family, Ke Huy Quan made a point of spending time with the longtime leading man for the cameras, in a sweet and emotional moment for the two actors.

Quan was just 12-years-old when he made his debut as a professional actor nearly 40 years ago, playing the role of Short Round in Indiana Jones And The Temple of Doom (1984).

Fans will recall he was the young orphan sidekick, who drives the 1936 Auburn Boat Tail Speedster that allows Indy to escape during the opening sequence.

As fans watched from just outside the red carpet, Quan, now 51, wrapped his arms around Ford with a glowing smile on his face, decked out in a black suit with a red shirt.

Equally beaming with pride, Ford was also visibly moved by the moment, which comes just three months after his former co-star won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in Everything Everywhere All At Once.

His riveting role as Waymond Wang followed an almost 20-year hiatus from acting, where he worked as a stunt choreographer and assistant director.

Seizing on the heartfelt moment, Ford and Quan could be seen fielding questions from entertainment journalists on the red carpet.

For Temple Of the Doom, Quan was handpicked by director Steven Spielberg to play Short Round after a long search through about 6,000 kids to find the perfect child actor. 

The Saigon, South Vietnam native actually tagged along with his brother to an audition for the first sequel to Raiders Of The Lost Ark (1981), in a show of support, according to Movie Web.

But the casting director would see the potential in Quan, not his brother, and asked him to also read for the character. 

He ended up sealing the deal for the role of Short Round once Spielberg got a look at the footage of his audition.

Spielberg liked his personality so much that he and Ford got to improvise the scene where Short Round accuses Indy of cheating during a card game 

‘I didn’t go looking to be an actor. I was just like a normal kid, going to school every day at my elementary school, 12 years old at that time,’ Quan recalled.

He continued, ‘I immigrated here to Los Angeles in 1979, and four years later, as fate would have it, Steven Spielberg and George Lucas was looking for a Chinese kid to be Short Round. And they went everywhere looking for him. Couldn’t find him, almost gave up the role, when they decided to have an open call in Chinatown, Los Angeles.’

In the wake of his success with his comeback role in Everything Everywhere All At Once, the grateful actor has garnered fan support from all across the world.

The former child star actually had his first reunion with Ford at the D23 expo last September.

‘Are you Short Round?’ the 80-year-old actor asked when they met eyes, which Quan said transported him back to 1984 and the Temple Of Doom, during an interview in Men’s Health.

‘Yes, Indy, it’s me,’ he responded back to Ford at the time.

Afterwards, Ford shared his thoughts and emotions about the reunion, saying it was ‘great to see him. I mean… I’ve had the opportunity to see the film (Everything Everywhere All At Once). He is really terrific in his movie. And I’m so glad to see him… and what he has become. I’m so happy for him… And well deserved! Well deserved.’

In what’s considered Indy’s last adventure with Ford wearing the iconic fedora-style hat and carrying his trusty whip, Dial Of Destiny is set on 1969 with the backdrop of the Space race.

Dr. Jones finds himself uneasy over the U.S. government’s recruitment of former Nazis to help beat the Soviet Union in the competition to make it to space.

For this go-around, Indy’s goddaughter, Helena Shaw (Phoebe Waller-Bridge), accompanies him on his new journey, while Jürgen Voller (Mads Mikkelsen), a NASA member and ex-Nazi involved with the moon-landing program, wishes to make the world into a better place as he sees fit. 

Directed by James Mangold from a screenplay he co-wrote with Jez Butterworth, John-Henry Butterworth and David Koepp, the cast also includes Antonio Banderas, John Rhys-Davies, Toby Jones, Ethann Isidore and Boyd Holbrook.

Indiana Jones And The Dial of Destiny, the first of the franchise not to have Steven Spielberg direct, is scheduled to hit theaters across the U.S on June 30.

London’s Leicester Square was given a touch of A-list glamour on Monday evening as Jennifer Lawrence attended the UK premiere of new film No Hard Feelings. 

With heavy rainstorms drawing a line under England’s recent heatwave the Oscar-winning actress could be forgiven for treading lightly after a series of high-profile red carpet stumbles. 

Indeed, Jennifer, 32, erred on the side of caution by ditching the heels in favour of flip-flops during a recent public appearance at the Cannes Film Festival in May. 

But the heels were back on as she greeted fans outside Odeon Luxe, where she led the glamour on a night dedicated to her latest box-office offering – a coming-of-age comedy co-starring Matthew Broderick. 

Posing for waiting photographers, Jennifer looked stunning in a semi-sheer black evening gown with a cinched waist and distinctive patterned embellishments.  

She added to the look with a pair of elbow length evening gloves, while a black bra was visible beneath the sleeveless gown as she made her way into the central London venue. 

Jennifer also sported with a glamorous make-up palette, complete with smokey eye and slicked back her long blonde locks into a ponytail. 

She was joined at the star-studded event by co-star Andrew Barth Feldman and the film’s director Gene Stupnitsky.

Both men flanked the stunner in smart suits as they beamed for the cameras and shared a joke. 

Joining the American stars were a whole host of famous British faces including a string of reality stars.

Former Love Island contestant Chyna Mills, 24, showcased her growing baby bump on the red carpet alongside fiancé Neil Jones 40.

She looked gorgeous in a figure-hugging green frock as she loving cradled her belly and beamed alongside her Strictly Come Dancing beau. 

Chyna’s dress featured a one-shoulder detail and she slipped her feet into strappy black heels, before accessorising with dainty gold jewellery.   

MIC’s Kimberley Garner put on a very leggy display in a black skater dress as she arrived at premiere.

The swimwear designer, 32, dressed to impress for the evening as she went braless in a backless halter neck number. 

She turned up the heat by adding inches to her frame in a pair of towering matching pointed toe heels. 

The beauty styled her long blonde tresses in a neat updo leaving two strands to frame her face. 

She flashed her gorgeous smile as she posed on the red carpet with her hands in the pockets of her dress. 

Meanwhile former islander Ellie Spence, 25, sent pulses racing in a plunging sheer black gown with very racy thigh-high split.

The outfit hugged every inch of her jaw-dropping figure with a sheer boned corset leaving very little to the imagination.

Sweeping her blonde hair high into a stylish up do and added height to her frame with a pair of towering heels. 

Elsewhere on the red carpet Dancing On Ice’s Vanessa Bauer, 26, ensured all eyes were on her as she slipped into a plunging red gown for the screening.

Vanessa opted to go braless for the evening, and looked breathtaking as she posed for photographs in the floor-length frock.

As she worked her best angles, the skating pro’s footwear could not be seen, due to the extreme length of her silky dress.

Keeping things simple, Vanessa styled her raven tresses into a sleek low ponytail and went without jewellery save a pair of understated earrings. 

Sophie Hermann, 36, cut an elegant figure in a blue silk mini dress and looked incredible in the stunning number which boasted a dazzling bow on the front.

The Made In Chelsea star toted her belongings around in a miniature which bag which had a matching silver glittering boy on the front. 

Sophie turned up the heat by adding a pair of dazzling eye catching chandelier earrings and applied a flawless palette of makeup. 

The raunchy new comedy, sees Oscar winner Jennifer play a cash-strapped woman trying to seduce a 19-year-old boy for pay.

Her character Maddie finds herself in such dire financial straits that she is on the brink of losing her late mother’s house.

She throws herself on the mercy of a rich pair of New Age ‘helicopter parents’ played by Broadway stars Laura Benanti and Matthew Broderick.

Percy (Andrew Feldman), their geeky teenage son, is about to go to college and has been cosseted his whole life, never breaking the rules.

The couple offers Maddie a car in exchange for a heavyweight favor – she must seduce Percy before he leaves for Princeton.

No Hard Feelings then launches into her increasingly desperate attempts to get Percy into bed, including a nighttime skinny dipping excursion, taking him out to drink underage and even playfully trying to kidnap him.

It comes after Jennifer  opened up about the ways becoming a mother has shifted her plans for the future as the star admitted she didn’t expect to pursue a career in directing any time soon.

The actress welcomed one-year-old son Cy in 2022 with husband Cooke Maroney, 38, and she made it clear that focusing on her family was her top priority in a new interview.

Speaking during an interview on Good Morning America on Monday, the Hunger Games actress explained how her hopes to direct a feature film had changed in recent years.

‘I used to think that [I would direct]. Now I’m just so tired and it just looks so hard,’ she stated.

However, the actress is still working hard in front of the camera and behind the scenes after starring and producing her upcoming comedy.

Reflecting on her experience as a producer, she told GMA host George Stephanopoulos: ‘It’s good. It’s busy but focused and streamlined. I don’t take on anything that I can’t personally read every draft of and give notes on.’

The actress admitted she hadn’t even been planning to get back into acting as soon as she did after giving birth, but the quality of the comedy’s script pushed her to make her Hollywood comeback.

‘I just had a baby and I wasn’t planning on working for a long time,’ she began. ‘But I read the script. It was the funniest thing I had ever read.’

Robert Carlyle joined his Full Monty cast-mates at the UK premiere of the classic comedy’s Disney+ spin-off in Sheffield on Monday – 25 years after the movie’s release. 

The actor, 62, who played Gaz in the 1997 flick, cut a casual figure in a white sports jacket which he layered over a black T-shirt and jeans. 

The original cast have reunited for the sequel series which follows the gang as they continue to navigate life in the post-industrial city of Sheffield.

Written by the film’s screenwriter Simon Beaufoy, the show charts what happened to the group after they put their kit back on, following their famous striptease in the original movie.

Also at the event was GOT’s Mark Addy, 58, who returns to his role as the hapless Dave Horsefall. 

The actor beamed as he took to the red carpet in a blue denim shirt which he teamed with a dark tailored suit. 

The film followed a group of unemployed men as they decide to form a male stripper act in an attempt to make some money. 

The new series will feature the original group over eight episodes, as they  are faced with crumbling healthcare, education and employment systems.

It will also introduce a whole host of new cast members including children and grandchildren of the returning characters.

Simon Beaufoy, creator, writer, and executive producer, said: ‘We’re chuffed to bits to get all the Monty Men back together again – now with a chaotic entourage of children, grandchildren, pets and assorted hangers on – to see what life in Sheffield is like twenty-five years on.’

Lee Mason, director of scripted content EMEA, Disney added: ’25 years ago Simon introduced us to a group of funny, fearless and resilient unemployed working-class men from Sheffield and the world fell in love with them.

‘We’re delighted to reunite the original cast for this brand-new series on Disney+ to catch up with these iconic characters and what they’ve been up to since we last saw them on stage in all their glory, and we can’t wait to introduce a host of exciting new faces and characters.’

The episodes are directed by Andrew Chaplin and Catherine Morshead, and co-written by Alice Nutter with Simon Lewis as Series Producer.

Robert’s character Gaz will deal with fatherhood as he is seen trying to connect with his daughter in the latest trailer that was released last month.

The pair are seen sat together on a hill as he tells her: ‘We haven’t seen that much of each other in a while, maybe make up for lost time, eh?’

Gaz also comes to blows with Dave (Mark Addy) after he criticises him for being an absent father.

Gaz tells him: ‘Who the hell are you to give out parenting advice eh? You don’t even have any kids.’

It’s also hinted the gang may be getting their kit off once more as Gaz is heard saying in voiceover: ‘This is going to be the greatest comeback’. 

The Full Monty was released  to critical acclaim. For a time it was the highest grossing film in the UK until it was later outsold by Titanic.

The episodes will explore the brighter, sillier and more humane way forward where communal effort can still triumph over adversity. 

The show is directed by Andrew Chaplin and Catherine Morshead, and co-written by Alice Nutter with Simon Lewis as Series Producer. 

One actor who won’t be returning is Hugo Speer who was axed from the show after he allegedly invited a woman into his trailer while completely naked during filming.

The actor, who played Guy in the film, had his contract terminated with ‘immediate’ effect after allegedly gesturing a runner in her twenties to enter his trailer while he had no clothes on, according to The Sun.

He has denied the claims, with his spokesperson telling ET: ‘Hugo denies all the allegations and is challenging all of them.’

The Sun reported that the horrified woman reported Hugo’s actions to show bosses, who took immediate action.

It is said that Hugo had been previously warned about walking around his trailer while stark naked before he eventually got the axe after allegedly inviting in a woman. 

A Disney+ representative told MailOnline: ‘Recently, we were made aware of allegations of inappropriate conduct by Hugo Speer on the set of a commissioned production. As is policy, an investigation was launched. 

‘Upon its completion, the decision was made to terminate his contract, with immediate effect.’

The Full Monty will be released on Disney+ on June 14.

The Belgian model showcased her endless pins in the revealing dress thanks to its daring split, and accessorised with matching heels.

The film focuses on a respected lawyer named Anne who lives in Paris with her husband Pierre and their two young daughters. 

Théo, Pierre’s teenage son from a previous marriage, moves in, and Anne eventually begins an affair with him, and in doing so, she risks jeopardising her career and losing her family.

The film stars Léa Drucker, Samuel Kircher, Olivier Rabourdin and Clotilde Courau, and was directed by Catherine Breillat. It is also a remake of the 2019 Danish drama Queen Of Hearts.

The Cannes Film Festival has long been regarded as a highly prestigious Hollywood affair, hosting a carefully chosen selection of films for hotly-anticipated premieres.

However, the 76th annual Film Festival has come under fire this year for its less than exclusive guest list as social media influencers have descended on the resort town.

Though usually reserved for the Hollywood elite, an array of influencers, wannabe TV stars, reality TV personalities and models have all strutted the red carpet.

Hollywood stars including Scarlett Johansson, Natalie Portman and Jennifer Lawrence have all been in attendance, but there has also been a huge list of influencers.

Love Island’s Zara McDermott, reality TV host Maya Jama, socialite Emma Weymouth and Made In Chelsea’s Kimberley Garner were all among the guest list, which is normally dominated by movie stars.

Fans have hit out at the Film Festival for inviting guests who aren’t premiering movies, branding it ‘a joke’ as they questioned why influencers are at the ‘enigmatic’ event.

Taking to Twitter, one person fumed: ‘Dream to go to Sundance and Cannes but at this point s**ts like Coachella for movie influencers.’

Another tweeted: ‘The overwhelming majority of people who attend Cannes are C-list celebrities who aren’t even premiering any movies at the festival.’

A third wrote: ‘The most random Insta influencers are attending Cannes this is a joke,’ while a fourth said: ‘What exactly are influencers supposed to be ‘giving’ at Cannes?’

A fifth penned: ‘Don’t know why social media influencers are crowding Cannes though,’ and a sixth commented: ‘Cannes has ceased to be the enigmatic thing it used to be perhaps.’

While another added: ‘What are Instagram influencers doing in Cannes? Isn’t it a film festival?’
