New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has offered some stern advice to both his teammates and fans as frustrations grow after multiple poor performances on offense.

Rodgers was making his weekly appearance on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ when he said that he wasn’t a fan of the ‘little side conversations’ that took place during the 15-10 loss to the New England Patriots and said his teammates needed to ‘grow up.’

‘I think we need to hold our poise a little bit better across the board,’ Rodgers said.

‘Just offensively, we need to not have some of those things happen on the sideline and to be a little better and to be a, just be a little better competitors.

‘Too many little side conversations, and we just need to grow up a little bit on offense and lock in and do our jobs and not point fingers at each other — and that’s everybody. Don’t point fingers at the coaching staff, don’t point fingers at each other. Just get back to work and get the job done.’

Rodgers was in large part alluding to the animated conversations seen on the sidelines involving WR Garrett Wilson and RB Michael Carter.

The future Hall of Fame quarterback was forced to watch the game against New England from his home on Sunday as he continues the first steps in rehabbing the torn Achilles, he suffered only four plays into his Jets debut in Week 1.

New York pulled off a miraculous overtime win against the Buffalo Bills during that Week 1 game before dropping the next to contest after Zach Wilson filled in as the starter and the offense delivered putrid performances in both games.

‘I feel like if I was there, some of those things wouldn’t be happening,’ said Rodgers, who underwent Achilles surgery Sept. 13. ‘[I’m] not sure we’d be 3-0 — I don’t know that.

‘I’d like to think there’s a possibility of that, but it’s more the side stuff that I don’t like and that I want to see us stick together through the tough times.’

The tough times were seemingly made worse very quickly as Jets legend and NFL Hall of Famer Joe Namath went full scorched earth in voicing his displeasure with Wilson’s performances, as well as the Jets lead decision makers for staying loyal to the struggling third-year QB.

Wilson was benched last year by head coach Robert Saleh on two separate occasions for poor play, however Saleh and general manager Joe Douglas decided on a plan to allow Wilson to backup Rodgers and learn from one of the games greats before regaining the starting role in after Rodgers eventually retired.

After that plan was quickly altered following Rodgers injury the Jets then chose not to bring in a veteran quarterback to challenge, if not replace, Wilson as the starter.

Earlier on Tuesday the Jets completed the signing of veteran journeyman Trevor Siemian to the practice squad although he is far from considered a savior at the position due to his resume.

The 31-year-old Siemian has a career record of 13-17, with 42 touchdowns and 28 interceptions. His only seasons as a starter came in 2016 and 2017 with the Denver Broncos and has since been released from several backup roles.

Siemian was the Jets backup in 2019 and filled in for then QB Sam Darnold who was dealing with mononucleosis, but only lasted one quarter before suffering a season-ending ankle injury.

Before adding Siemian, the Jets were linked with several other QBs including Colin Kaepernick who recently had a letter he sent to the Jets asking for a chance to prove himself made public by award-winning rapper J Cole.

Aaron Rodgers has told Pat McAfee he considered retiring from football due to the torn Achilles that ruined his season with the New York Jets as it had just got started.

Rodgers. 39, joined McAfee’s show live from his rehab room to provide an update on his comeback and admitted that while thoughts of leaving the game entered his head, he is working on returning.

‘It’s tough, every single day is tough. I’ve been grinding on the rehab and looking forward to getting back out to Jersey at some point,’ Rodgers said. ‘It’s disappointing not to be out there.’

Rodgers, who turns 40 in December, joked that his rehab is the ‘reverse darkness retreat’ as he was in a white room without anything on the walls.

‘I’m well taken care of. This is the time for me to sit and receive and try and find some joy in the process.

‘There’s been some progressions the last couple days that get the hope meter trending upwards a little bit and the joy meter trending up a little bit.

‘I don’t wanna get caught in a timeline, I want to get healthy mentally and physically. But I’m gonna do everything that I can to put myself in a position to play football again at some point.

‘Obviously when this happens there are thoughts of ”is that it’ and ‘are you done?’. I don’t feel like I am. I am going to put myself in position to play again.

‘The first goal was to get out of the cast. The second goal, get out of the boot which coincides with walking. Walking leads to movement, faster movement, ultimately running at some point.

‘Getting out the boot is the next goal. When I can stand up on my own, the boot comes off and then it gets exciting.’

Rodgers admitted he is using manifestation to inspire his comeback.

‘Visualization is an important part of the manifestation process,’ he said. ‘At the core of manifestation is belief. You have to believe it is going to happen again.

‘I’m just visualizing being back on the field. Not a timeline, not this year or next year but being able to run out of a tunnel back out onto a field to do exactly what I love.’

Will Aaron Rodgers ever be the same following his ‘heartbreaking’ Achilles tear? That is the million-dollar question, says Dr. Ryan Minara.

Rodgers’ New York Jets debut came to a crashing halt Monday night when the 39-year-old exited the game against the Buffalo Bills after just four snaps.

Jets fans’ worst fears were confirmed the following day when it was announced that the signal caller had ruptured his Achilles tendon, ruling him out for the season in a devastating blow to New York, who only acquired him in the offseason.

But Rodgers, who turns 40 in December, vowed to ‘rise again’ as he broke his silence for the first time since the heartbreaking injury on Wednesday night.

While it isn’t out of the realm of possibility for the veteran to make a comeback, he faces an uphill battle and the risk of never reaching the same level again, Dr. Minara, a podiatry specialist at New York’s Mount Sinai Beth Israel hospital, tells DailyMail.com.

Dr. Ryan Minara, a podiatry specialist, tells DailylMail.com that Rodgers faces an uphill battle

‘I do think that, given the fact that not only is he an elite athlete, he’s one of the best of the best of elite athletes and due to his highly-competitive nature, there’s a distinct possibility of him coming back and playing,’ Dr. Minara says.

‘But at 40 it’s a much harder recovery than at 20 or even 30. He has the elite athlete and competitive nature working for him, but his age is working against him.

‘No matter how much of an elite athlete you are, just by his body’s natural aging process, it’s much harder for an Achilles repair to recover and for him to return to be the same Aaron Rodgers that he was before.

‘I do think he’ll work as hard as he can to make it back but it is going to be an uphill battle.’

Even if Rodgers beats the battle against Father Time and makes it back to the field, Dr. Minara warns he might not be the same four-time MVP the league has seen before.

‘I think he can return to play, but will he have the same mobility or strength as he did before? That’s really the million-dollar question,’ adds Dr. Minara, who has experience as a team podiatrist across sports, including lacrosse and triathlon.

‘I think the Jets might have to switch his style of play. He’ll certainly be less mobile or less willing to break sacks or tackles. They’re going to have to protect him. He’s going to have to stay in the pocket a little more rather than using his legs.

‘Obviously he still has a wonderful arm. It might affect arm strength a little in terms of throwing the ball down field because you do rely on a lot of that strength from your lower body and core but he’ll still be Aaron Rodgers.’

Dr. Minara insists there’s more to the challenge than getting Rodgers back to full health. The Jets not only need to work on improving the quarterback but also their offensive line.

‘It would benefit him and the team the most, so that he can worry less about having to escape the pocket and use his legs,’ he says.

‘I do think the Jets should invest in an O-Line so he doesn’t have to worry about using his legs at much.’

STANDARD ACHILLES RECOVERY PROCESS POST-SUGERY

Two weeks post-surgery: No weight bearing, use of crutches

Four to six weeks: Gentle motion exercises once stitches are removed, transitioned to a walking boot

Six to eight weeks: Walking in the boot with light pressure, increased motion exercises

Eight to 12/16 weeks: General physical therapy to maintain strength and motion

Four to six months: Sport-specific rehab

Six to 12 months: Increasing amount of activity, depending on the sport

Nine to 12 months: Possibility they are able to play at a high level

It will be along journey back to the field for Rodgers, especially in time for the start of next season.

Dr. Minara explains that Rodgers will not be able to bear weight on his left foot for at least two weeks post surgery before being able to allow a little bit of pressure in a walking boot once the stitches are taken out.

The former Green Bay Packers quarterback won’t be able to start general physical therapy until the eight to 16 week mark, with the sport-specific rehab generally not beginning until four or six months post surgery.

He says that even athletes have to wait until nine or 12 months after the procedure before they’re able to play at a high level.

Around 75 percent of all Achilles ruptures are among athletes, ranging from elite athletes such as Aaron Rodgers, weekend warriors, collegiate level, according to Dr.  Minara.

But the Achilles rupture is still one of the toughest injuries to bounce back from, even for the elite sporting stars.

‘The Achilles is the strongest tendon in the body, it’s under a lot of tension, so when it ruptures it really alters the leg function from that point forward,’ Dr. Minara explains.

‘That’s why it’s many times a difficult injury to recover from. Because you have to reset that resting tension, you have to strengthen the muscle, then you have to worry about the bloody supply to the area and then healing issues in general.

‘But people do come back. Kobe Bryant ruptured his Achilles tendon and he came back. Was he the same Kobe Bryant after he came back? It’s hard to say because he was already a little older.’

Rodgers’s devastating injury drew criticism of the NFL for allowing teams to play on artificial turf. Currently the league is split – 15 stadiums have grass, 15 use turf.

The league has been accused of putting ‘profit over people’, while the NFLPA has previously demanded an immediate ban on slit film turf.

But Dr. Minara shuts down any speculation that the turf played any role in Rodgers’s injury, claiming it could have happened anywhere.

‘There will always be people who complain about turf but there will be certain injuries that occur no matter what,’ he says.

‘When you look at the slow motion replay of this particular injury it’s just a classic example of when an Achilles tendon ruptures. He already had some nagging calf injuries. He was trying to run away but he was being pinned down, so he was trying to plant and flex down his foot but due to the pressure of the defender on top of him, and due to the fact that he foot was stuck on the ground, the muscle was contracting, the foot couldn’t go anywhere and the Achilles popped.

‘That type of injury can happen anywhere at any time. I don’t think the turf necessarily played a role in this particular injury. But it is something the NFL really needs to figure out. If there is an increase in specific injury, they need to see if the turf is playing a role in it.’

Rodgers’ Jets career got off to the worst start imaginable Monday night when he exited New York’s win over the Buffalo Bills after injuring his left ankle.

Coach Robert Saleh admitted it’s ‘not good’ and that he believes Rodgers has an Achilles injury, amid fears the quarterback’s season is over.

Backup quarterback Wilson, 23, stepped in just 3:45 into the game as the veteran was helped on to a cart and driven away for an X-Ray, ultimately leading the Jets to a 22-16 win at a rainy MetLife Stadium.

Despite previously saying he would ‘make that dude’s life hell’ if the Jets signed a veteran quarterback, Wilson has closely studied Rodgers throughout the preseason with the four-time MVP acting as a mentor.

Wilson’s mom, Lisa, took to Instagram following Rodgers’ injury, writing on her story: ‘We love @aaronrodgers12. He’s been such a great mentor. Heartbreaking.’

In a separate story, Lisa also thanked fans for their support, admitting it was tough to watch her son step in.

She wrote: ‘Watching your kids do hard things, is so much harder than doing them yourself. Not the evening we expected… Just trying to catch my breathe [sic]. I am so overwhelmed by love and support. Literally hundreds of texts and DMs. Some I know and many I have never met. Just know I see you, I can feel you carrying me and I am so grateful to have such amazing people surrounding me and my family. Thank you.’

Rodgers dropped back on first down from the Jets’ 43-yard-line and tried to roll out to his left before being sacked by Floyd for a loss of 10 yards. But his left foot appeared to get stuck in the Jets’ turf as he was being tackled.

The Jets still managed to pull off a sensational win with Xavier Gipson’s winning 65-yard punt return touchdown in overtime sending MetLife Stadium wild.

Rodgers agreed to a restructured contract in July that gives him $75 million in fully guaranteed money over this season and the next. It amounts to a nearly $35 million pay cut from the deal he had in Green Bay.

Wilson, the former No. 2 overall pick, reportedly had followed Rodgers around like a ‘puppy’ during preseason.

‘You would think that there’s Velcro between Zach Wilson and Aaron Rodgers,’ King told Mike Florio on Pro Football Talk in July.

‘Zach Wilson is like the puppy to the side of Aaron Rodgers. He is always talking to him, he’s always trying to suck out information from him.

‘Because, I’m sure – I didn’t talk to Zach Wilson – but I’m sure Zach Wilson figures “Hey, we do this for two years, and in training camp 2025, whatever, I get a real, legitimate chance to be a quarterback again”, and that’s how he is taking this.’

Rodgers had spoken glowingly of the 23-year-old, insisting that, despite Wilson’s previous comments, he had made him feel welcome in New York.

‘He’s been incredible,’ Rodgers said in June. ‘He hasn’t made my life hell everyday. He’s been a joy to work with and I give him so much credit because it´s a tough situation what he went through.’

It is a stark contrast to Wilson’s last offseason when his ex-girlfriend accused him of sleeping with his mom’s best friend.

Abbey Gile made the accusations after she was slammed a ‘homie hopper’ when reports surfaced that she was dating Wilson’s college roommate and best friend, Washington Commanders wide receiver Dax Milne.

At the time Lisa told DailyMail.com: ‘She (Abbey) is a very angry girl.’

Aaron Rodgers injured his left ankle after getting sacked by Leonard Floyd of the Buffalo Bills on the fourth snap in a nightmare start to his New York Jets career, ending his first game for his new team minutes after it had begun.

Rodgers was carted away for an X-Ray, which returned negative. He is expected to have an MRI scan amid significant fears he has an Achilles injury that could end his season, as well as his first Jets game.

Rodgers dropped back on first down from the Jets’ 43-yard-line and tried to roll out to his left before being sacked by Floyd for a loss of 10 yards. But his left foot appeared to get stuck in the Jets’ turf as he was being tackled.

The quarterback hit the ground and grimaced as he clambered back up to his feet for a moment, before dropping back down and sitting on the turf. He had to helped off the field as Zach Wilson made his way out to replace him. Rodgers, 39, went straight into the medical tent in scenes that left the entire NFL stunned.

The quarterback emerged to be helped onto a cart and was driven off for an X-Ray. He was listed as questionable to return but it didn’t take long for him to be officially ruled out of the rest of the game. He was seen with his left foot in a black protective boot.

‘He’s dealing with an ankle issue, we’re getting it checked out and we’ll have an update,’ Jets coach Robert Saleh said at the break between the first and second quarter.

The amount of scrutiny and excitement over Rodgers and his move to the Jets had dominated the offseason and the hype had reached new heights in the hours before Monday night’s game.

Things started quietly enough. After a 26-yard run by Breece Hall on the Jets’ opening play, Rodgers threw his first pass away after getting heavy pressure from Gregg Rousseau. Rodgers threw incomplete on the next play, but Terrel Bernard was called for defensive holding.

Then, Rodgers tried to avoid a rushing Floyd, who wrapped up the quarterback and took him down to the MetLife Stadium turf.

And in the cruelest twist of fate, his first game was over just as it had started. Rodgers looked stunned and ashen faced, albeit not in significant pain by his facial expression, with all eyes in the stadium on him rather than the play unfolding on the field itself in the immediate aftermath.

In the moment before the game began, Rodgers had played a central role in the 9/11 tributes at the stadium on the 22nd anniversary of the terrorist attack.

He came out onto the field for his first game holding the American flag as fans got their first look at the quarterback who, in no uncertain terms, has underlined his dream of leading the New York team to Super Bowl glory.

Rodgers had looked like calmness personified as he warmed up for his first Jets game and even headed over to greet Jake Paul, one of the celebrities watching on in the crowd.

As a hurt Rodgers made his way off the field, coach Saleh looked lost for words as he tried to retain focus on organizing his team for the rest of the game itself.

The Jets play Dallas Cowboys next Sunday, a game that Rodgers already looks destined to miss. For both Rodgers and his team, the question marks will inevitably rest on whether the quarterback can play again this season.

Social media was immediately engulfed by speculation on how Rodgers was hurt, with one account – ProFootballDoc – suggesting Rodgers had torn his Achilles due to the way his foot had plugged in the ground.

If so, it would rule Rodgers out for the season. People typically need 4-6 months to return to normal activity from such an injury.

Rodgers has repeatedly said he won´t be one-and-done with the Jets.

He agreed in July to a restructured contract that gives him $75million in fully guaranteed money over this season and next. It amounts to a nearly $35m pay cut from the deal he had with Green Bay in which he was set to make $110m guaranteed.

Aaron Rodgers will not have to wait until Week 1 of the regular NFL season to make his New York Jets debut, as the team plans to get its new quarterback involved in a preseason game against the New York Giants

The 39-year-old Rodgers is now expected to wear Gotham Green for the first time on Saturday, according to The New York Post

The four-time league MVP watched the Jets’ first three preseason games from the sidelines, as backup QB Zach Wilson was given some minutes under his belt.

The Jets completed a blockbuster trade for Rodgers in April and great things are expected from the 10-time Pro Bowler this season, with the franchise bidding to add to its lonely 1968 Super Bowl title win.

Rodgers is said to be in great shape and form in practice while also mentoring some of the Jets’ young players, including Sauce Gardner and Garrett Wilson.

Jets head coach Robert Saleh remained open to the idea of having Rodgers play in the team’s final preseason game.

After Saturday night’s 13-6 loss to the Buccaneers, Saleh said he’d discuss plans for next weekend’s game against the Giants with his starting quarterback.

Earlier this summer, Rodgers said he wouldn’t mind playing in pre-season games if it helped him find his footage. Rodgers last played a preseason game in 2018 while he was still on the Packers.

‘I wouldn’t mind playing in the preseason,’ Rodgers previously told reporters.

‘I wouldn’t mind if Robert said ”Hey, we are going to go. Let’s do it.” Most coaches have that fear where they want to get you to the Week 1 and not risk it, but I believe there is a chance for the last one.’

If Rodgers starts against the Giants, then expect all starters on the Jets’ offense to be involved in Saturday’s game.

One thing for sure is that Rodgers will start the 2023-24 season with 59,055 career yards, 475 touchdown passes and a 147-75-1 record as a starter in the NFL.

United States Congressman and former NFL star Burgess Owens is voicing his support for Donald Trump‘s campaign and slamming President Joe Biden as ‘the last segregationist in American politics.’

Owens, an African-American Republican from Utah’s fourth district, specifically credited Trump for helping black business owners during his lone term in office.

‘Donald Trump delivered record-breaking growth to all communities,’ Owens, a former Jets and Raiders defensive back, said in a statement. ‘As a child born in the segregated south, I witnessed Donald Trump help the black community more than any president in my lifetime. Record growth for black business owners, then to answer this, the Democrats nominated the last segregationist in American politics, Joe Biden.’

Owens, 72, supported Trump in 2016 and 2020, when the former Jets and Raiders defensive back was first elected to the House of Representatives.

‘Biden declared to the world if you don’t support him, ‘you ain’t black,’ well, once again, I don’t support him,’ Owens continued. ‘I’m proud to support Donald Trump in 2024, and I pray he gets the opportunity to finish the record growth he started. We need his boldness to reverse the damage Joe Biden has done before it’s too late.’

While touting Trump (left) as a job creator, Owens slammed Biden (right) as a ‘segregationist’

Trump has regularly pointed to job numbers for African Americans during his term to support his status as a job creator.

‘We reignited America’s job creation and achieved record-low unemployment for African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans, women — almost everyone,’ Trump has said.

Job creation actually slowed in 2017, Trump’s first year in office, to about 2 million, compared with nearly 2.5 million in 2016, Obama’s last year in office.

Of course, then came the COVID-19 pandemic that cost the US economy 10 million jobs, making Trump the first president since Herbert Hoover to oversee a net loss in that area. And the job losses have fallen disproportionately on Black Americans, Hispanics and women, according to a 2022 study by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development

Before the coronavirus, nearly 500,000 manufacturing jobs were added under Trump, somewhat better than the nearly 400,000 gained during Obama’s second term. Still, even before the pandemic, the US had 4.3 million fewer factory jobs than it did in 2001, the year China joined the World Trade Organization and a flood of cheaper imports from that country entered the US.

The country did have the most jobs on record before the pandemic, but some experts chalk that up to a growing population.

Nobel Prize-winning economist Paul Romer looked at Trump’s economic growth record. Growth under Trump averaged 2.48 percent annually before the pandemic, topping the 2.41 percent gains achieved during Obama’s second term. By contrast, the economic expansion that began in 1982 during Reagan’s presidency averaged 4.2 percent a year.

A University of Miami standout before the school’s glory years of the 1980s, Owens was picked 14th overall by the Jets in the 1973 NFL Draft.

He would go on to win Super Bowl XV as a member of the Los Angeles Raiders before retiring in 1982.

It was during that final season that he and his wife became members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which led him to move to the religion’s cultural mecca of Utah.

In addition to getting active in charitable organizations, Owens also became a regular guest contributor on Fox News and parlayed that notoriety to a successful congressional campaign in 2020 – the same year he spoke at the Republican National Convention.

Currently Owens sits on the Education and Labor as well as the Judiciary committees.

Owens previously highlighted former President Donald Trump’s ability to shine light on true American values, and focus on what matters most. He told the Daily Caller in February 2020, just before the COVID-19 pandemic, that ‘what our country is all about, what our conservatism is all about, what our American way is all about, is Head, Heart, Hands and Home. Head being education, Heart being God, Hands being industry and the free market, and Home being family.’

Owens is the second Utah lawmaker to endorse Trump’s 2024 campaign in August. Mayor Trent Staggs of Riverton, Utah, who is running to unseat Sen. Mitt Romney, announced his endorsement for Trump on Aug. 3 while decrying President Joe Biden’s record in office.

Owens, played 10 seasons in the NFL with both the New York Jets and the Oakland Raiders.

This year’s Pro Football Hall of Fame class has now been enshrined!

All nine former pros were introduced to fans at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium before tonight’s pre-season game starts! That includes Bonde Barber, Don Coryell, Joe Klecko, Darrelle Revis, Ken Riley, Joe Thomas, Zach Thomas and Demarcus Ware.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell greets Browns QB Deshaun Watson

The 27-year-old has claimed that he’s a changed man since completing his 11-game suspension last season, following his trade from the Houston Texans. Read more here:

Zach Wilson gets his chance to shine tonight!

It’s only a pre-season game but last season’s starting QB can really demonstrate his worth tonight and prove that he is the natural successor to Rodergs once the latter’s contract is up in 2025.

The Jets starting QB is seen on the field for the first time tonight!

He may not be playing in what is the Jets’ first pre-season game, but ‘AR12’ (or ‘AR8’ depending on if you’re a Jets or Packers fan) was noticeably seen in conversation with Jets owner Woody Johnson — the former US ambassador to the U.K. under the Trump Administration — before kickoff.

Any thoughts on what the pair have talked about?

57th annual Hall of Fame Game

Tonight marks the 57th playing of the Hall of Fame Game. The event debuted in 1962 and has been played annually, with the exception of four years.

The Browns are making their sixth overall appearance in the Hall of Fame Game and first since 1999 (also 1963, 1967, 1981 and 1990).

The Jets are making their third appearance and first since 1992 (also 1977).

Gang Green arrive in Canton

Zach Wilson will likely get the nod to start as the Jets quarterback tonight over Aaron Rodgers.

Wilson, the former No. 2 overall pick, has now been assigned the backup quarterback role after a turbulent 2022 season, and the small matter of Aaron Rodgers’ arrival.

Though, many view the presence of Rodgers as only beneficial to the ex-BYU standout.

And it seems Wilson is in lockstep with that train of thought thus far at the beginning of minicamp.

Welcome!

Good evening and welcome to Mail Sport’s coverage of the 2023 Hall of Fame Game!

The New York Jets will be taking on the Cleveland Browns in Canton, Ohio at 8pm ET.

Its the first chance to see the revamped AFC East squad, whpse offseason was highlighted by the acquisition of Aaron Rodgers.

Stick around as we bring you live updates from the game!

Aaron Rodgers had perhaps his best weekend yet in New York as he went to see two nights of Taylor Swift‘s Era’s Tour at the Metlife Stadium.

The quarterback will be playing there later in the year after moving to the New York Jets from the Green Bay Packers in a trade that has captivated the NFL.

But over the weekend, Rodgers was a shameless Swifty as he went to see the pop star in concert.

Reflecting on the shows on his Instagram on Monday night, Rodgers said: ‘Incredible weekend at my new home #metlifestadium with some special friends Miles and @keleighteller, a bunch of new ones, and the legendary @taylorswift who absolutely rocked the house for 3 1/2 hours each night!!!

‘She is truly a master entertainer and epic human, and @phoebebridgers was spectacular as well.

‘Thanks to the great security folks, the sweet fans that I met, and all the hospitality from the Tour both nights Hopefully we can make MetLife that loud this year.’

Rodgers tagged Kelleigh Teller – wife of actor Miles Teller – in his Instagram post as well as his former Packers teammate David Bakhtiari.

The Jets quarterback revealed himself to be a massive Taylor Swift fan in a video posted to the team’s official Twitter account, where players were asked their favorite song from the singer whose Eras Tour stops at MetLife Stadium this weekend.

‘Too many. Too many to count,’ the 39-year-old said when asked the question.

Then he got a bit more specific.

‘Anything off of [her album] ‘Folklore’ probably. ‘August,’ ‘The 1.”

Rodgers also offered an older pick to supplement his choices from Swift’s 2020 album, as he called ‘New Year’s Day’ a ‘banger.’

Rodgers has already begun settling himself into his new home and has been spotted out and about in New York City on many occasions.
