The history-making concert was a phenomenon during the first leg of its US run, and the UK and European leg of the tour is due to kick off on 9 May 2024 in Paris and wrap up on 17 August 2024 in London.

Fans across the UK and Europe will now be able to see the incredible tour experience on the big screen at the same time as fans in the US, Canada and Mexico, before the tour itself reaches the continent.

The ticket release in the U.S, Canada and Mexico set a new record at ODEON’s parent company AMC as it made $26 million in ticket-sales revenue.

ODEON are expecting similarly high demand for this cinematic experience.

The tour, in which Taylor runs through hits from her 17-year career, is on track to make a projected gross of $2.2 billion in North American ticket sales alone,’ TIME previously reported.

According to TIME, industry analysts said that the performer’s lucrative tour should surpass $1 billion in revenue by March of 2024, when she is slated to be overseas.

The numbers would make it the most-profitable tour ever, surpassing the $939m Elton John made on his The Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, according to the outlet.

Taylor’s career continues to soar, but in her private life she is reportedly been hanging out with Kansas City tight end, Travis Kelce.

They have apparently  been spending time together under the radar for months before they were spotted together in public for the first time on Sunday.

The pop superstar supported the sports start as his team beat the Chicago Bears, and afterward the enjoyed an ‘affectionate’ dinner together, but that was reportedly just their most high-profile get-together so far.

Sources with direct knowledge of the couple claimed to TMZ on Monday that the two have hung out together ‘several times’ over the past few months.

It’s not clear exactly when the two began seeing each other in person, but Travis had revealed on his New Heights podcast in July that he had hoped to introduce himself to Taylor when he attended one of her Eras Tour stops.

‘I wanted to give Taylor Swift [a bracelet] with my number on it,’ the tight end shared, but he learned that the singer’s devotion to putting on the best performance possible made it impossible to chat with her.

‘I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings, so I was a little butt-hurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her,’ he said.

Taylor amped up the budding courtship at Sunday’s game when she arrived alone — aside from her usual bodyguards — to cheer on Travis from a box.

However, the sources explained to the outlet that the Lavender Haze singer’s earlier meetings with the NFL star were in a ‘very private setting’ so as to not attract attention.

It appears that she’s moving toward a more open relationship with Travis now, though the sources also stressed that the two are not ‘officially’ dating, even though things are clearly heating up between them.

Another sign that Taylor the Kansas City Chiefs star are growing closer was that she met his parents at Sunday’s game.

The hitmaker could be seen cheering on Travis while standing next to his mother Donna, and Travis’ father Ed was also in attendance.

Meeting parents for the first time is often stressful, but the sources shared that the first meeting went ‘very well,’ and Taylor seems to have particularly won over Donna, who called her a ‘lovely person.’

Although she has now met Travis’ parents, Taylor has yet to meet his brother Jason Kelce, who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles and co-hosts the New Heights podcast with his sibling.

Although Taylor and Travis appeared to keep the PDA to a minimum while heading to the Prime Social Rooftop in Kansas City after the game on Sunday, eyewitnesses spotted them holding hands once they were inside the restaurant.

The PDA escalated when Taylor reportedly sat on the football players lap at one point.

The dinner was only somewhat private, as Travis’ family, including his mother Donna, also showed up, and some of his teammates dropped by as well.

An eyewitness previously told Entertainment Tonight that it was Travis who had bought out the restaurant for the afterparty.

Taylor arrived, wearing a denim dress, and was seen snacking, having some cocktails and dancing alongside Travis,’ they said.

Another diner told ET that restaurant staff told them there would be a ‘hard close’ at 8 p.m., and the wait staff handed out to-go boxes ahead of the deadline while letting them know that they would need to leave the premises before that time.

However, they were offered free drinks at the restaurant’s sister venue to cut down on the inconvenience.

Although some of the patrons apparently asked if the closure was related to Travis and Taylor, the staff reportedly were stiff-lipped.

A NASA contractor is reportedly looking to study ‘alien bodies’ that were presented to Mexico‘s Congress during a controversial UFO hearing.

Jaime Maussan, a veteran broadcast journalist and prolific ufologist who presented the corpses last week, told the DailyMail.com that an unnamed third-party contractor has been in contact with him about carrying out a ‘DNA investigation’ potentially on behalf of the US space agency.

The news comes just one week after NASA’s top UFO investigator Dr David Spergel was pressed about the purported alien corpses – and did not shut them down entirely.

Dr Spergel told reporters: ‘We don’t know the nature of those samples. My recommendation is, if you have something strange, make samples available to the world scientific community, and we’ll see what’s there.’

Maussan had first unveiled the pair of alleged 1,000-year-old bodies, reportedly unearthed in a Peruvian cave, during UFO hearings held by the General Congress of the United Mexican States — unleashing an international firestorm.

NASA itself has also not yet responded for comment, but the DailyMail.com will update this developing story when they do

Jaime Maussan (left), veteran broadcast journalist and prolific chronicler of UFO cases in Mexico, told the DailyMail.com that the unnamed NASA contractor wants to ‘do their own DNA investigation.’ NASA has not yet responded to several requests for comment by DailyMail.com

While Maussan heralded the bodies’ discovery as one of the most important in human history, his presentation has sparked an outcry from numerous scientists, anthropologists and even some dedicated UFO researchers.

This week, the temperature of the debate climbed higher, with Peru’s Minister of Culture filing criminal charges accusing Maussan and his collaborators of robbing bodies from ancient graves.

As of 2022, Peru’s Culture Ministry has designated approximately 26,000 protected archaeological sites across the country, but has faced budget constraints in its efforts to secure these valuable artifacts from black market antiquities dealers.

But, as Maussan told the DailyMail.com, ‘I personally went to the Ministry of Culture, to ask them to do the investigation to get involved in this finding.’

‘They never did,’ according to Maussan. ‘We tried many, many times. We sent letters.’

‘And let me tell you something else,’ Maussan asked rhetorically, ‘You remember NASA saying that this should be investigated, and so on?’

‘A contractor from NASA took the challenge,’ Maussan answered. ‘They are a laboratory dedicated to the reading of DNA.’

Despite several attempts by the DailyMail.com, via phone and email, NASA’s office of public affairs could not yet be reached for comment.

For his part, Maussan expressed concern that too much transparency too early could upset the delicate investigations which, he says, are now underway.

When asked by the DailyMail.com, Mussaun declined to identify the NASA contractor by name.

‘A contractor from NASA — it’s all I can tell you,’ he said.

‘I won’t tell you the name. I want to keep this private,’ he said, ‘until they can do their investigation.’

But, the Mexican broadcaster who was once chief investigative reporter and editor of 60 Minutos, the country’s affiliate of the CBS television news magazine 60 Minutes, was nevertheless willing to speculate on the NASA contractor’s next steps.

‘I think they’re going to Peru [then] they’re coming to Mexico,’ Maussan said, ‘to check on the bodies to take samples. They want to do their own DNA investigation.’

‘And we said yes! We are open, my friend.’

Maussan’s efforts to garner professional scientific interest in the potential of ‘ancient alien’ specimens from Latin America has spanned years, with some setbacks and some success, but never before at the present level of international scrutiny.

Radiologist technician Guillermo Ramirez prepares to do a CT scan on a tiny body of a specimen, that UFO reporter Jaime Maussan says is not related to any known Earthly species

At a May 5, 2015, event in Mexico City, Maussan and a coalition of US ufologists presented now infamous photographic slides purported to document a recovered alien body from the long-rumored 1947 flying saucer crash at Roswell, New Mexico.

Efforts by a coalition of skeptics and dedicated UFO researchers, however, quickly put forward compelling evidence that the images depicted a child mummy, museum placard included, as displayed at the Mesa Verde Museum in Colorado.

Undaunted, Maussan returned with his first Peruvian ‘alien mummy’ in 2017, for a documentary on Gaia TV, which included analysis by Konstantin Korotkov, a professor of computer science and biophysics at Saint-Petersburg University,

In the ensuing speculation, some scientists have taken a crack at determining the origin of these specimens, including researchers at the Cyprus University of Technology as well as the retired CEO of Western Paleontological Laboratories.

Debate continues on whether the specimens are truly alien, or were ritually made from human and llama remains by ancient indigenous populations, or were made more recently by the enterprising tomb-raiding huaqueros themselves.

To complicate matters, the numerous Peruvian mummies brought to the public by Maussan vary in size and several more key characteristics.

This week, Maussan’s associate, Dr. Jose Zalce Benitez, the director of the Scientific Institute for Health of the Mexican Navy, detailed x-rays, 3-D reconstruction and DNA analysis which he said has been carried out on the remains.

According to Benitez, scans showed that the specimens of the two latest mummies are each ‘a single skeleton’ and ‘complete organic being,’ contrary to suggestions they were made up of ‘different parts as some assumed.’

This analysis has its critics, including Elsa Tomasto-Cagigao, a respected Peruvian bio-anthropologist, who cited similar alleged finds that were found to be frauds.

‘What we said before still stands, they are presenting the same rehash as always and if there are people that keep believing that, what can we do?,’ she said.

Ultimately, Maussan maintains his conviction that the bodies merit deeper, professional scrutiny.

‘We know — we’re not stupid — that we need someone bigger than us, a university, or an institution, someone bigger, to investigate them,’ Maussan told the DailyMail.com Thursday.

‘Once that happens, everybody will realize this is the finding of the century or the millennium, or whatever you want to say,’ Maussan said. ‘I put my hands on the fire, to tell you that this is absolutely real.’

‘This is physical evidence, it’s not going to evaporate.’

WHAT ARE THE NAZCA MUMMIES AND ARE THEY REAL?

A group of self-proclaimed paranormal researchers claim they have found proof of aliens near the city of Nazca in Peru.

The team say they have found a number of mysterious three-fingered ‘mummified humanoid’ with elongated skulls.

Early last year, the group recorded a short documentary of a research trip into a cave near Nazca, where they found what appeared to be a mummified body.

The body was found covered in white powder, which the team say was used to preserve the remains.

They claim that carbon dating samples of the body dates between 245 – 410 AD, though the validity of these tests has not yet been verified.

Since this find, the group say they have found at least five other alien bodies in the region of similar sizes and proportions.

Some conspiracy theorists think the three-fingered mummies, found last year, may be the remains of alien visitors to Earth.

The body measures 1.68 metres (5 foot 6 inches) tall and has similar proportions to humans

But the mummy's three long fingers on each hand and its lack of nose and ears suggest it could be something from beyond Earth

Early last year, a conspiracy group recorded a short documentary of a research trip into a cave near Nazca, where they found what appeared to be a mummified body (left). Pictured right is a Cat scan of the individual named ‘Maria’ by the team

But not everyone is convinced by the finds, with one UFO expert saying the ‘extraterrestrials’ are plastercast models made as part of an elaborate hoax.

Leading UFO expert Nigel Watson, author of Haynes UFO Investigations Manual, told MailOnline last year: ‘I’m no expert on ancient mummified bodies but they tend to be more leatherish looking.

‘This seems to be a plastercast over a bone structure with three fingers attached to the hands. Such hoaxes are the product of wishful thinking mixed with greed and a lust for publicity.’

Jamie Maussan, an ex-investigative journalist who is infamous for his involvement in several high-profile UFO hoaxes, was part of the Peruvian mummy team.

In May 2015, he promoted photographic slides claiming to be pictures of an alien recovered from the Roswell flying saucer crash of 1947 that were later proved to be fake.

The group’s lead researcher Dr Konstantin Korotkov of Russia’s Saint Petersburg University has previously stirred controversy when he claimed he had invented a camera that can photograph the soul.

Married At First Sight UK‘s latest season has been hit with accusations of fakery – sparking questions over the authenticity of the show.

As with many previous seasons, questions have been asked about what goes on behind the scenes, with Channel 4 frequently being forced to weather claims of falsehood, most recently with the show’s first transgender star Ella Morgan.

Channel 4 was embroiled in a fakery row after pretending that groom appearing on their reality show Married At First Sight UK was unaware he had been paired up with a transgender woman – before later revealing he had been told in advance.

As well as the tip off, some of the contestants have been spotted on other shows, including Laura Vaughan, who dated Gary Lucy on Celebs Go Dating last year.

Laura was not the only star who has previously sought love on TV as it was revealed that groom Luke Worley, appeared on Davina McCall‘s short-lived The Language Of Love dating show two years ago.

On Monday, the show launched, during which viewers saw Ella, who was born male and transitioned into a woman when she was 18, wed Nathanial.

Channel 4 were forced to divulge that bosses had informed him in advance.

In a statement, the network says: ‘This is the first time MAFS UK has featured a trans bride so, to ensure fully informed consent, and with the permission of the bride, the groom was told that the match found for him was a trans woman, after which both parties chose to continue in the process.

‘In all other ways, the integrity of the format was preserved. Our priority during matchmaking is to protect the wellbeing of the cast and create compatible matches, based on detailed assessment of individual preferences, as part of an in-depth, careful matchmaking process.’

Addressing claims on Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp last week, the dating professionals Mel Schilling and Paul C Brunson insisted ‘this is not a gotcha moment’ and explained that they did have the groom’s consent beforehand.

Following the episode, a viewer wrote: ‘If that wasn’t proof of how staged #MAFSUK is . Paul literally said ‘with Ella’s permission, Nathanial has been informed his wife is trans’. But they did this big reveal with Ella really nervous???? Make it make sense.

They added that Ella was an ‘incredible role model’ and ‘having visibility of a trans woman’ was important on the show.

Aside from Ella’s situation, further questions sprung from other appearances.

The latest questions come after Nathanial and Ella’s relationship hit the rocks in Wednesday’s episode, after he dropped a bombshell during a furious row.

While the pair’s romance had started well at their wedding, with Nathanial openly accepting his wife was transgender, things turned sour in Wednesday’s episode mere hours after arriving for their honeymoon in Mexico.

Nathanial claimed that Ella was keeping a secret from producers that she’d confessed to him behind closed doors, before claiming to the cameras that he was refusing to show any intimacy.

He then revealed that Ella used to work as a stripper, which she insisted she ‘wasn’t ashamed of.’

Could this spark one of the earliest splits in the show’s history?

Explosive! The latest questions come after Nathanial and Ella’s relationship hit the rocks in Wednesday’s episode, after he dropped a bombshell during a furious row

Earlier in the day, Ella was forced to face her fears while cave-diving with Nathanial, leading him to admit she was being ‘dramatic’ about taking the leap.

Ella then confessed that there was a lack of ‘sexual chemistry’ and intimacy between them, and was starting to feel that they were more like friends.

Nathanial insisted that their sexual connection would come with time, but Ella questioned why he wasn’t performing any kind of romantic gestures.

The pair’s bickering led Ella to storm off in frustration, while Nathanial questioned why he’d even signed up for the show.

The pair’s rows continued back at their room, when Ella accused Nathan of ‘acting,’ which he then threw straight back at her, claiming that her issues were little more than a performance for the cameras.

Things then went from bad to worse as Nathanial and Ella headed to the beach the next day, with the blonde ready to apologise after calling her husband a ‘p***k.’

She said: ‘The reason is I am like this is because I feel like we are not just friends’

Nathanial hit back: ‘Was it vindictive? Or was it the truth? I have concerns you’re not in this for the same reason as me. Everything that I know…’

Ella then cut in: ‘I don’t understand what you’re on about,’ while Nathanial said: ‘What you can say in front of the cameras – you’re going back and forth because you are just lying again.’

He then declared: ‘You’ve lied because you’re a stripper,’ before storming off.

Breaking down in tears, Ella said: ‘I told him I’ve stripped in the past, it’s not something I’m ashamed of.

‘But I am worried that’s the reason he’s not being intimate. There’s nothing I can do.’

As they prepared for the last night of their honeymoon, the newlyweds opted to keep some distance between them.

The episode ended with Ella stood up by Nathanial after she invited him to dinner as a peace offering.

Elsewhere in the episode, Rozz and Thomas struggled to move on from their awkward start to married life after jetting away for a ski retreat in Austria, while Laura claimed that Arthur was holding too much back on their honeymoon to Mexico.

Really? Earlier in their honeymoon, Ella accused Nathan of ‘acting,’ which he then threw straight back at her, claiming that her issues were a performance for the cameras

Confronting him about his vows, which he’d taken from the internet, he admitted his wrongdoing and vowed to be more open moving forward.

As their honeymoon came to a close, Arthur showed his commitment to Laura by re-writing his vows to her, and the pair sealed their marriage with a kiss.

But thinks were going far better for Jay and Luke, whose romance continued to blossom on their beach break in Grenada.

The pair even came close to consummating their marriage, but were sadly interrupted by their hotel housekeeper.

Shocking footage shows thousands of migrants crossing the Rio Grande from Mexico into Texas – despite Joe Biden vowing to crack down on the influx.

More than 2,200 people crossed the river from Coahuila into Eagle Pass in a tactic pushed by drug lords to deliberately overwhelm U.S. Customs and Border Patrol.

By tying up crucial resources, it leaves Mexico’s cartels free to carry out human trafficking and smuggling operations uninterrupted.

As midnight approached the group could be seen wading through the deep waters to reach the other side, much to the surprise of some local Mexican residents.

One could be heard on camera exclaiming how only a small portion of the group were crossing at that one moment – with hundreds more following behind.

By the time daylight arrived, the group were being rounded up by Border Patrol as they huddled under a bridge in Eagle Pass.

The footage was shot in Piedras Negras, the Mexican town which lies directly across the river from Eagle Pass.

The flagrant breaking of immigration rules took place next to the port of entry as those crossing the border thumbed their noses at the Biden Administration.

It was March 2021 when Biden pleaded with those thinking of making the journey to the U.S. ‘do not come’ with the threat of  ‘consequences’ for those crossing illegally.

‘I can say quite clearly: Don’t come. We’re in the process of getting set up, don’t leave your town or city or community,’ Biden said.

This latest wave of migrants who are mainly Venezeulan are believed to have travelled up through Panama.

Similar scenes have been witnessed along the border with towns and federal processing centers are now at overcapacity as a crush of crossings cripples the nation.

Last week there were more than 7,000 illegal crossings across the U.S.-Mexico border on several days.

Nearly 500 miles away from Eagle Pass in El Paso, a similar surge was experiences as 1,700 migrants crossed in a 24-hour period.

The migrants would then line up along the border wall and surrender to officers to then claim asylum in the US.

About 500 asylum-seekers mainly from Venezuela lined up at El Paso on Monday, reported KVIA.

Over the last week the region has seen a spike in encounters with 1,200 on average coming over each day. 4,200 migrants are being housed in local hotels rather than shelters.

Across the border as a whole, as many 9,400 migrants have crossed into the US in a single 24-hour period – almost equalling figures seen in May before the end of Title 42 which saw 10,000 people come into the country each day.

‘The way it’s being orchestrated through the cartels, I believe it’s meant to overwhelm the system. The [places] that are being impacted the most are border communities,’ former El Paso City Councilmember Claudia Rodriquez told The New York Post.

No street releases have been made in the El Paso region unlike in California and Arizona.

Last week, photos depicted at least three white unmarked Border Patrol buses filled with migrants parked in San Diego.

It led to several hundred people being released onto the streets. One migrant was even told by an agent: ‘You’re free to go on and do wherever you want. You’re free.’

He asked: ‘It’s no problem if I go to Chicago?’

‘You can do whatever you want,’ the official replied.

Border Patrol in San Diego has reportedly been dealing with 20,000 migrants in custody last week – 5,000 more than facilities can manage.

It can’t accommodate more than 15,000 migrants and migrants are being released onto the streets to fend for themselves after being processed at the border.

Similar migrant releases took place in Tucson, Arizona, with agents coming across 2,000 people a day and dealing with packed shelters.

In Texas, State Representative Eddie Morales says the migrants made the trek by hopping on trains.

‘It’s obviously a security issue, we have concerns over their safety and we need to address this in the most – expeditious manner,’ Morales said to News4SA.

‘Under U.S. immigration laws, most non-citizens coming to our border are not eligible to remain in the United States. Asylum laws do not provide for relief solely for economic reasons or for general violence,’ U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) tweeted on Monday.

After the public health order known as Title 42 was lifted in May 11, CBP says the U.S.  ‘returned to fully enforcing Title 8 immigration authorities to expeditiously process and remove individuals who arrive at the U.S. border unlawfully and do not have a legal basis to stay.’

Texas Congressman also Terry Gonzales also shared similar frustrations.

‘Eagle Pass is completely overrun right now. El Paso is getting overwhelmed right now. Arizona is getting overwhelmed right now.

‘The only way we can regain control of the southern border is by enforcing the laws that are on the books. That’s exactly what the administration needs to do. That’s exactly what Congress needs to focus on.

‘All Americans deserve to feel safe in their own communities and right now they do no. A lot of folks see it on TV and they think it will never happen to them. Well I’m here to tell you it’s already happening, whether you’re in New York, whether you’re in Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles.

‘These folks that are coming over illegally, they’re coming to all parts of the country. It’s only going to get worse.’

One day earlier, a cargo train filled to the brim with migrants was spotted speeding toward the Mexican border with the United States.

Astounding footage of the FerroMex train was shot as the locomotive with hundreds in tow could be seen coming out of the Central Mexican city of Zacatecas as it made its way northbound on the 750-mile journey toward the U.S.

Container after container could be seen filled with migrants getting an easy ride as the goods train zoomed by.

There was whistling and cheering from those on board as the group hitched a ride. Some of the travelers could even be seen hanging out from the sides of the train.

The train was headed for the U.S. southern border – where in the southwest, roughly 2 million migrants have already made their way into America in 2023. Border towns have been crushed by the influx thanks to the lax border policies of the Biden administration.

The migrants looked to have prepared themselves for a long journey with many having erected tents and canvas over portions of the containers in a bid to shield themselves from the elements.

The videos comes as the latest figures from U.S. Customs and Border Patrol show a rise in the number of encounters with migrants at the Southern Border.

In July there were almost 184,000 migrant crossings into the U.S. – up from 144,000 encounters with border patrol from June.

Although the figures rose on a month-by-month basis, the numbers are still well below that of previous years when in 2021 and 2022 more than 200,000 crossed into the U.S. from Mexico.

The U.S. border has seen a flood of migrants from across the world, not just Central and South American nations such as Venezuela and Mexico. There have been migrants from China and other places entering via the porous southern border.

The video comes as recent data from U.S. Customs and Border Patrol reveals an increase in encounters with migrants at the Southern Border between June and July of this year

The 2022 fiscal year saw record-breaking numbers of encounters with migrants at the Southwest border with 2,378,944 reported crossings from October to September.

In 2023, through July, there have been 1,973,092 – many of them coming as Title 42 expired.

The number of migrant crossings in August is set to exceed 230,000, according to Fox News.

Most migrant encounters are single adults, at 64.9 percent, but almost 600,000 are individuals in a family unit and there have been 109,298 unaccompanied minors crossing the border.

Issues of overcapacity are happening all across the southern border. Along with Tucson – street releases are happening in the San Diego sector and in Santa Cruz County, California.

Texas has also been using razor wire to block migrants illegally entering as it battles a challenge from the Biden administration seeking to stop it from building a buoy barrier in the Rio Grande.

The Lone Star State has also been busing migrants to ‘sanctuary cities’ such as New York, Chicago, Philadelphia and Los Angeles in order to give border towns some relief.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott argues that Texas cities have carried the weight of illegal immigration and ‘sanctuary cities’ need to share that burden.

‘Texas has bused over 35,000 migrants to self-declared sanctuary cities,’ he wrote earlier this month on  Twitter.

‘Over 11,300 to D.C., over 13,300 to NYC, over 6,700 to Chicago, over 2,600 to Philadelphia, over 1,000 to Denver, over 480 to LA.’

Cochise County, Arizona, is being slammed with waves of migrants bussed from other counties after crossing the border amid President Joe Biden‘s lax policies.

‘The migrants being released are from outside Cochise County but were bussed to Cochise County, processed and then released,’ Daniels noted in a Facebook post.

‘I applaud the local [Customs and Border Protections] agents and their leadership for doing all they legally can during this on-going crisis.’

It’s unclear exactly how many migrants the processing facilities in Tucson can accommodate or how many have been transported to other locations such as Cochise County.

Peso Pluma faces drug cartel threats not to perform at Tijuana’s Caliente Stadium: ‘It will be your last show’

  • Three banners found in Tijuana with warnings to singer initialed by cartel
  • The warning read, ‘Refrain from presenting yourself on October 14’
  • The singer, 24, performed at the MTV Video Music Awards Tuesday

Peso Pluma was warned not to perform in an upcoming show at Caliente Stadium in Tijuana, Mexico next month, in a trio of banners posted around the city purportedly initialed by a drug cartel.

The 24-year-old musical artist, who is on his Doble P Mexico Tour, is scheduled to take the stage there October 14.

According to TMZ, the banners were signed by Jalisco New Generation Cartel and read: ‘This goes to Peso Pluma, refrain from presenting yourself on October 14, because it will be your last show due to your disrespect and loose tongue.’

The news outlet Punto Norte reported that the cartel had initialed each banner.

The controversy over the singer – who performed at the MTV Video Music Awards Tuesday – could be tied to his corridos tumbados, a corrido with hip-hop that makes allusions to crime and drugs.

Authorities told The San Diego Union-Tribune that a total of three banners were found, and that one person had been taken into custody in connection with the banners.

The Baja California Attorney General’s Office has launched a probe into the banners, Tijuana Security Secretary Fernando Sánchez told the newspaper.

Based on the results of the investigation, officials will decide whether or not the concert will be canceled due to safety concerns, Tijuana Mayor Montserrat Caballero told the paper.

Caballero told the paper that the singer has not been in contact with city officials amid the recent threats.

Caballero has past debated prohibiting corridos tumbados concerts in Tijuana due to the normalization of violence, according to the newspaper Frontera.

TMZ reported that Peso Pluma has postponed a few upcoming shows – it was not stated why the shows were delayed – but is scheduled to play at the Reno Events Center in Reno September 28.

Peso Pluma has a concert September 30 in nearby Chula Vista, California at the North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre.

President Joe Biden departed Thursday for the G20 Leaders Summit in New Delhi, India after days of speculation over whether the president would catch COVID-19 from his wife and scrap the trip. President Joe Biden departed Thursday for the G20 Leaders Summit in New Delhi, India after days of speculation over whether the president would catch COVID-19 from his wife and scrap the trip. The maskless commander-in-chief didn’t take questions from the press as he boarded Air Force One through the lower steps.

His trip begins just 24 hours after the Department of Justice warned they would seek to indict his son Hunter on gun charges by the end of the month , and he faced criticism from 9/11 families for marking Monday's 22nd anniversary of the attacks in Alaska. And more poll results released by CNN on Thursday morning show the majority of voters - including Democrats - think he is too old to run, and he is neck-and neck with Donald Trump . 'We think this will be an important milestone moment for global cooperation at a critical time,' National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan told reporters aboard Air Force One while en route.

He indicated that a potential joint statement between the leaders wasn't yet ready, amid early indications that China or Russia might block it. 'There is still some distance to travel before a final communique is released to the public or agreed among the leaders,' he said. He said China was seeking to 'hold climate hostage' by linking it to unrelated issues. Leaders were also working on a potential infrastructure deal between the U.S., India, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia . 'We believe that connectivity from India across the Middle East to Europe is incredibly important and would bring a significant number of economic benefits, as well as strategic benefits, to all of the countries involved,' Sullivan said.

While press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Wednesday that there were no 'contingency plans' being made if Biden had to skip, the White House didn't reveal too much of Biden's schedule either. He's expected to meet with the G20's host, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, after Air Force One lands Friday and then attend G20 sessions Saturday and Sunday before jetting off to Vietnam. One addition that popped up on his schedule is a visit to the John McCain memorial in Hanoi. The two men were friends in the Senate. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan wouldn't say Tuesday if Biden planned to hold bilateral meetings with two of the most controversial leaders expected to attend - Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Russian President Vladimir Putin is skipping the meeting of the world's richest economies amid the Ukraine invasion - sending Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in his stead - while Chinese President Xi Jinping is sitting the summit out amid tensions with host country India. Last week, China and India got into a diplomatic tiff over an 'official map' released by China that claimed lands along the Himalayas that Indian officials say belong to them. Xi is sending Premier Li Qiang in his place, Beijing announced Monday. At the briefing Tuesday, Sullivan encouraged the Chinese delegation to still play ball, despite Xi's summit snub. 'As far as the question of tensions between India and China affecting the summit: Really, that's up to China,' Sullivan said. 'If China wants to come in and play the role of spoiler, of course, that option is available to them.'

Russian President Vladimir Putin is skipping the meeting of the world’s richest economies amid the Ukraine invasion – sending Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in his stead – while Chinese President Xi Jinping is sitting the summit out amid tensions with host country India. Last week, China and India got into a diplomatic tiff over an ‘official map’ released by China that claimed lands along the Himalayas that Indian officials say belong to them. Xi is sending Premier Li Qiang in his place, Beijing announced Monday. At the briefing Tuesday, Sullivan encouraged the Chinese delegation to still play ball, despite Xi’s summit snub. ‘As far as the question of tensions between India and China affecting the summit: Really, that’s up to China,’ Sullivan said. ‘If China wants to come in and play the role of spoiler, of course, that option is available to them.’

Sullivan encouraged the Chinese to come to the summit 'in a constructive way' and work with other nations on the issues of 'climate, on multilateral development bank reform, on debt relief, on technology' and 'set aside the geopolitical questions.' One of the top summit agenda items for the U.S. is World Bank reform, scaling up the lender to provide funds for climate and infrastructure projects. This move is strategic in that it could move some developing economies toward Western nations and away from the Chinese Communist Party's lending practices, which the White House called 'coercive and unsustainable' when asking Congress in late August for $3.3 billion in additional funding.

At the G7 in May in Hiroshima, Japan, some of the planned topics of discussion were overshadowed by the Ukraine war. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky (pictured right) made a surprise visit to the summit, meeting with Biden and the other leaders of the top industrialized nations. The dynamic will be slightly different at the G20 - in part because Zelensky wasn't invited by India. India has not condemned the Ukraine war as harshly as the United States and its top allies, as Russia is an important trading partner, though Modi did meet with Zelensky on the sidelines of the G7 in Japan. Also while Russia was expelled from the then-G8 in March 2014 after the annexation of Crimea, territory previously held by Ukraine, it remains a member of the G20.

Lavrov will be filling in for Putin during this weekend's Leaders' Summit, as the Russian leader hasn't traveled outside the country since the International Criminal Court in March issued a warrant for his arrest over war crimes, including the removal of Ukrainian children to Russia. Lavrov has been on a world tour this week, appearing at the ASEAN summit in Jakarta, Indonesia - which was also attended by Vice President Kamala Harris. Sullivan predicted there would be a 'continued focus on how the G20 deals with Russia's illegal and ongoing war in Ukraine. The reality is that Russia's illegal war has had devastating social and economic consequences, and the poorest counties on the planet are bearing the brunt of that,' Sullivan pointed out.

With Putin and Xi skipping the G20, no meeting of Biden's will be more closely watched than if he decides to sit down with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on the sidelines of the summit. Late last month, Axios reported that Biden was considering meeting with MBS, according to four sources in the know. Sullivan wouldn't cement anything when asked about MBS - and Erdoğan - on Tuesday. 'I'm not going to speak to how the schedule will shape up over the course of the coming days,' the national security adviser said. Sullivan said there was a 'certain dynamic element' to G20 scheduling, meaning that some of the meetings 'will likely be announced at the last minute.' 'And we will do our darndest to make sure that they are done in a way where the U.S. press has the ability to participate in them,' he told the reporters in the briefing room.

On the table, potentially, is a 'mega-deal' between Saudi Arabia and the U.S. that could lead to Saudi and Israel normalizing relations. It would be a historic breakthrough for Mideast peace. Officials told Axios that the administration is trying to finish its diplomatic push before the 2024 presidential election ramps up. While those sources pointed to how much of Biden's time his reelection campaign will eat up, Saudi relations are not popular among swaths of the U.S. Besides the country's poor treatment of women, there was the murder of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi.

President Joe Biden departed Thursday for the G20 Leaders‘ Summit in New Delhi, India after days of speculation over whether the president would catch COVID-19 from his wife and scrap the trip.

The maskless commander-in-chief didn’t take questions from the press as he boarded Air Force One through the smaller steps.

His trip begins just 24 hours after the Department of Justice warned they would seek to indict his son Hunter on gun charges by the end of the month, and he faced criticism from 9/11 families for marking Monday’s 22nd anniversary of the attacks in Alaska.

And more poll results released by CNN on Thursday morning show the majority of voters – including Democratsthink he is too old to run, and he is neck-and neck with Donald Trump.

While press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Wednesday that there were no ‘contingency plans’ being made if Biden had to skip, the White House didn’t reveal too much of Biden’s schedule either.

He’s expected to meet with the G20’s host, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, after Air Force One lands Friday and then attend G20 sessions Saturday and Sunday before jetting off to Vietnam.

National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan wouldn’t say Tuesday if Biden planned to hold bilateral meetings with two of the most controversial leaders expected to attend –  Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

At the G7 in May in Hiroshima, Japan, some of the planned topics of discussion were overshadowed by the Ukraine war.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made a surprise visit to the summit, meeting with Biden and the other leaders of the top industrialized nations.

The dynamic will be slightly different at the G20 – in part because Zelensky wasn’t invited by India.

Lavrov will be filling in for Putin during this weekend’s Leaders’ Summit, as the Russian leader hasn’t traveled outside the country since the International Criminal Court in March issued a warrant for his arrest over war crimes, including the removal of Ukrainian children to Russia.

‘The reality is that Russia’s illegal war has had devastating social and economic consequences, and the poorest counties on the planet are bearing the brunt of that,’ Sullivan pointed out.

No major headway is expected from the full G20, with Lavrov on Friday already saying that Russia would block the final declaration from the summit if it didn’t reflect Moscow’s views on Ukraine.

Meanwhile Secretary of State Antony Blinken made a surprise trip to Kyiv earlier this week.

Besides the country’s poor treatment of women, there was the murder of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi.

And timing of an MBS meeting could also be awkward for Biden – who has decided to skip the traditional 9/11 ceremonies to mark the anniversary of the terror attacks Monday in Alaska on his way home from India and Vietnam.

For years, 9/11 families have gone after the Saudi government, as 15 of the 19 terrorist hijackers were Saudis.

Newly released data shows that nine Mexican cities rank among the 10 deadliest in the globe in 2022, according to World of Statistics.

The report listed the western Mexico municipality of Colima as the murder capital in the world with 181.9 homicides per 100,000 inhabitants.

The city is the second largest in the state of Colima and placed first in the list in 2021 with 196.6 murders per 100,000 inhabitants.

Murders are on pace to equal or slightly surpass those figures in 2023, with 512 homicides registered through the first seven months of the year, an average of 73.1 per month, after 887 people were murdered the previous year at a clip of 73.91 homicides a month.

New Orleans, the only non-Mexican city in the list, was ranked eighth with 70.6 homicides per 100,000 inhabitants

According to World of Statistics, nine of the ten most dangerous cities in the world are located in Mexico. An additional two placed 13th and 14th

Each of the cities listed in the report are within the Mexican states that the U.S. Department of State has issued travel advisories due to crime and kidnapping.

María del Carmen López, 63, a Mexico-U.S. dual citizen, has been missing since February 9 when gunmen kidnapped her home in the Colima municipality of Pueblo Nuevo.

In June, one of her seven children held a press conference in Los Angeles and pleaded with President Joe Biden to help find her.

She revealed that the kidnappers had sent the family an audio in which the woman can be heard begging to be brought back home.

Her daughter, Zonia López, said her mother asked them to ‘please hurry, act quickly, my children, and give them what they want. My life depends on it.’

A gender reveal party turned deadly after a small plane nosedived and killed the pilot in front of cheering guests – who were oblivious to the tragedy that unfolded above their heads.

The happy couple were celebrating their pregnancy with family and friends in Sinaloa, Mexico, and hired a small jet to fly past and dump either pink or blue colored powder to indicate the gender of their baby.

As the plane approached the mom and dad-to-be, who were standing next to an ‘Oh baby’ sign, it released pink smoke from its fuselage – indicating they would be having a daughter.

Shrills and cheers of joy erupted as the loved-up couple kissed beneath the pink residue on September 2.

But in the same moment, the Piper PA-25-235 Pawnee aircraft suddenly shot upwards, rotating on its side as one of its wings collapsed mid-air.

The aircraft continued to spiral out of control, past the palm trees in the background of the couple’s idyllic moment in the town of San Pedro, Sinaloa.

Before realizing the tragedy that had occurred, the couple continued to embrace while family members congratulated them.

Luis Angel N., 32, was the pilot and the only person in the small plane, local media reports. He was found lying in the rubble after the crash.

He was rushed to hospital where he sadly died, according to the Aviation Safety Network.

Clips from the tragic moment have gone viral on social media – and an image of what is believed to be the mangled aircraft showed the extent of the damage.

Footage from beyond the garden where the gender reveal party was taking place also showed how the plane continued to tumult through the sky before crashing.

The limp plane, still spewing out pink powder, flew past a parking lot before eventually hitting the ground.

This is not the first time that an elaborate gender reveal party has turned deadly.

In recent years, people have come up with more creative – and dangerous – ways to announced to their loves ones if they’re having a girl or a boy.

In October 2019, a grandmother in rural Iowa was killed at a gender reveal party after being hit by shrapnel from a homemade pipe bomb that her family built to shoot out the colored powder.

Pamela Kreimeyer, 56, died after the explosion sent debris flying at her home in Iowa. She was struck in the head by a piece of metal from 45 feet away and died instantly.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the family had been ‘experimenting with different types of explosive material’. Police said the family hoped to post the reveal on social media for loved ones.

It is understood the family placed gunpowder in the bottom of a homemade stand that was welded to a metal base plate.

After drilling a hole in the side for a fuse, a piece of wood was placed on top of the gunpowder and colored powder was placed on top of the board.

Tape was then wrapped over the top of the metal tubing, inadvertently creating a pipe bomb.

In February 2021, a 28-year-old father-to-be was killed in New York after a device he was building for his child’s gender revel party exploded.

Christopher Pekny was assembling the device, said to include a pipe, in the garage of his home in the Catskills town of Liberty when it blew up.

Weeks before that, another man was killed in Michigan when he was struck by shrapnel from a gender reveal cannon at a friend’s baby shower.

Evan Thomas Silva, 26, of Hartland, was killed on February 6 2021 outside a home in Genesee County’s Gaines Township. Four people were in the backyard of the home when the small cannon was fired.
