Love Island star Ellie Spence left almost nothing to the imagination as she attended the ME London Fashion Week closing party on Tuesday evening.

The 25-year-old stunned in the completely sheer sparkly silver dress which showcased her figure as she went braless underneath the dress.

The star was joined by the founder of Cult Naked Mary Furtas who also donned a sheer dress similar to Ellie’s but in nude.

Ellie was attending the closing party at the ME London hotel with Cult Naked and By Rotation.

Wearing only a pair of grey underwear underneath the dress the star paired the statement piece with some high black leather boots and a bright red small handbag.

Arriving at the event, Ellie covered her modesty in an oversized black blazer which disguised her lack of clothes underneath.

Clearly confident in the ensemble, the star beamed in snaps as she showcased her incredible physique.

Taking to her Instagram the reality star was seen catching up with fellow islanders Samie Elishi and Nikita Gautam.

Back in May Ellie detailed the terrifying moment she almost died after impaling herself on a huge spiked gate.

The Love Islander opened up about her near-death experience on Instagram as she  showed some graphic images of her injuries after a drunken night out went very wrong.

The beauty, who was 18 at the time, said while returning to a friend’s home at 3am she impaled herself on a spike – which embedded itself 3mm from a major artery.

The business development executive, who entered the villa as a bombshell, explained: ‘Around this time just before summer when I was 18, I impaled myself on a steel speared gate and almost accidentally killed myself.

‘I’d just finished my A-level exams and me and one of my best friends Livvy went out on a night out, we got back to her house in the early hours of the morning and the gate in front of her house was locked.

‘After climbing the gate and reaching the top, I put my foot on the bar in-between the spears, my foot slipped and one of the spears impaled me directly in the joint of my leg.

‘I somehow spun around and found myself hanging backwards off the gate, 10ft in the air.’

She revealed her friend ‘had no idea she was impaled’ due to the darkness and she kept passing out from the pain and blood loss.

Ellie admitted she ‘knew she was about to die’ and had given up when a ‘voice’ began screaming at her to wake up.

The reality star continued: ‘I could barely get my words out from the pain and panic I was in and Livvy had no idea I was impaled.’

BOOK OF THE WEEK

RUSKIN PARK

by Rory Cellan-Jones (September Publishing £18.99, 320pp)

In 1996, BBC journalist Rory Cellan-Jones was clearing out his mother’s council flat in Ruskin Park House, South London, following her death. He came across a kind of treasure trove.

‘Everywhere,’ he writes, ‘there were bundles of letters — hundreds, possibly thousands of them.’

In 1996, BBC journalist Rory Cellan-Jones was clearing out his mother Sylvia's council flat in Ruskin Park House, South London, following her death. Pictured: Sylvia as a young woman in the 1930s

His mother, Sylvia, had kept nearly every letter she had ever received and made carbon copies of many she had sent. In one rectangular red box, he found something special. A message to him from his mother: ‘For Rory, to read and think about in the hope that it will help him to understand how it really was.’ Also inside was a collection of love letters from the 1950s, exchanged between Sylvia and the father Rory did not even meet until he was 23.

It has taken Rory nearly 30 years to be ready ‘to undertake the journey this accumulated pile of paper invited me on’. The result is this tender account of his mother’s life, which also tells ‘the story of how I came to be born’. His memories of his mother had been shaped by her later years, in which she had grown increasingly eccentric and potentially embarrassing. Now, through her letters, he was able to understand ‘just what a remarkable person she was’.

He recalls visiting BBC Television Centre in West London for the first time in the 1960s in her company. She worked in the drama department there, and it ‘seemed a magical place, more exciting than any theme park’. Where else could a small boy watch a Blue Peter rehearsal? Or spot Doctor Who villains queuing for their food in the canteen?

Sylvia had begun her BBC career during World War II, earning £3 10 shillings a week as a secretary in the Bristol offices. Within a short time, she had moved into the Talks department, working for the poet and critic Geoffrey Grigson.

Already married, she enjoyed the freedom and new opportunities that the war brought to many women. She was in a rewarding job, dealing with famous writers such as Walter de la Mare and Dylan Thomas.

Her husband expected her to leave all this behind when Stephen, Rory’s half-brother, was born. ‘The only thing seems to be to chuck the BBC job,’ he wrote. Sylvia had no intention of doing so. Her marriage crumbled in the post-war years. In 1947, she left a letter for her husband on the table of their Bristol home and departed, taking Stephen with her.

She ended up in London, working in television in the pioneering years of the early 1950s, the era of live transmissions. As a production assistant, Sylvia had to cope with whatever was thrown at her.

One half-hour drama demanded the presence of an elephant in the studio. It was she who was expected to find the animal and a small boy to ride it. The job was given to Stephen, who was enjoying a budding career as a child actor.

It was during another BBC drama production in the summer of 1956 that Sylvia met Jim Cellan-Jones (pictured). She was a 42-year-old acting floor manager; he was 25 and her assistant

It was during another BBC drama production in the summer of 1956 that Sylvia met Jim Cellan-Jones. She was a 42-year-old acting floor manager; he was 25 and her assistant.

‘When I met you I thought you were pleasant and gentle, sweet and attractive, and I liked you more than anyone I had met for a very long time,’ Jim later wrote to Sylvia. The love letters Sylvia placed in the red box allowed their son to follow a relationship doomed to end unhappily. The unplanned consequence of the affair was Rory.

He confesses to the embarrassment he felt on first reading the letters. ‘No child really wants to have to imagine their parents’ sex life,’ he remarks.

‘It was hell seeing you on Thursday,’ Jim wrote, ‘and not being able to sweep you off into a corner and neck furiously.’ In what his son calls ‘barrack-room crudity’, Jim also remarked: ‘As the soldier said, don’t bother to paper the bedroom walls before I come over because all you’ll be seeing is the ceiling.’

Outside the bedroom, Jim and Sylvia were enjoying nights on the town. Sylvia described a visit to a production of Dylan Thomas’s Under Milk Wood, after which they went backstage to meet an actress Jim knew. They had, she reported, ‘seen several good films and been to one rather interesting bottle party’.

At one point they even discussed marriage: ‘Jim and I talked about it, and wondered if I might be able to get a divorce in America,’ Sylvia wrote to her sister Joan, ‘but it’s all too involved, and one would need lots of money.’

The two were together so much that it’s likely tongues were wagging at the BBC about an affair that was growing ever more obvious. On some occasions, Sylvia seemed confident in their relationship; at other times she fretted about the age difference. ‘A great pity about all those years between us!’ she wrote to Joan. ‘But there’s nothing I can do about it, so must make hay while the sun shines.’

Eventually, the sun ceased to shine. Rory was, in that quaint, old-fashioned phrase which, he notes, one contributor to his Wikipedia entry insists on using, ‘born out of wedlock’.

By the time Rory was born, it was clear Sylvia would have to raise him alone, with only some financial support from Jim. Rory pictured as a baby with his mother Sylvia

When Sylvia announced her pregnancy, Jim initially took responsibility. ‘I have committed misconduct with Mrs Rich on a number of occasions,’ he informed her lawyer. ‘I am the father of the child she expects.’ He talked of marriage. It soon proved no more than talk. The age gap and the concerns of Jim’s parents that there might be a public scandal contributed to the couple’s estrangement. Before long, Sylvia wrote sadly to her lawyer that, ‘he has said so many things and obviously not meant them’.

By the time Rory was born, it was clear Sylvia would have to raise him alone, with only some financial support from Jim, who went on to become a renowned TV director, responsible for episodes of The Forsyte Saga and the 1970s series The Roads To Freedom.

As a boy, Rory’s connection with his father was limited to one brief visit to a BBC control room, accompanied by his mother. Sylvia blithely ignored the ‘On Air, No Entry’ sign and dragged him in to witness a director sharing a joke with his assistant. ‘That was your father,’ she remarked as they left a few minutes later.

Rory did not properly meet Jim until 1981 when, in his last year at Cambridge, he wrote a letter suggesting they should get to know one another. Over the next few decades he formed a loving relationship with both his father and the half-siblings he discovered he had. Meanwhile, Sylvia continued to work at the BBC until she retired in 1974. Her last years were not happy ones, living alone in a small flat, missing her son and her work at the BBC, which had given her life meaning, structure and excitement.

In their son’s words, his father and mother were ‘two people trapped by circumstances, boxed in by the social mores of the times’. Ruskin Park is Rory Cellan-Jones’s touching tribute to both his parents, but particularly to the mother he came to know more fully from the letters she left behind.

She has spoken to hundreds of celebrities during her long TV career.

But on Tuesday, ABC star Leigh Sales revealed which celebrity she hasn’t interviewed and would love to meet.

During her appearance on The Cheap Seats, the former 7.30 host revealed she has become a ‘radicalised fan’ of Harry Styles.

‘You know who I would really love to interview, it’s Harry Styles,’ she revealed.

‘I love him, I’ve become a radicalised Harry Styles fan after watching his concerts on TikTok.’

Elsewhere in the interview, Leigh took a brutal swipe at Karl Stefanovic.

The journalist joked the Today show star was ‘not a real journalist’ while revealing which Aussie presenter she had interviewed that had surprised her.

‘You speak to some incredible names in Australian journalism. Annabel Crabb, Karl Stefanovic, Tracy Grimshaw, David Spears, who surprised you the most of who you spoke to?’ host Tim McDonald asked.

‘I actually thought you were gonna say that you spoke to some incredible names in journalism and Karl Stefanovic,’ she joked.

‘But he is amazing at what he does, let the records show.’

She went on to say her interview with Karl had surprised her because he revealed how nervous he used to get at the beginning of his career.

‘You know Karl actually did surprise me a bit because he talked about how nervous he used to get when he was first starting out and he said he used to sweat absolute buckets,’ she explained.

She has long blonde hair, blue eyes and curves, but the stunning model on the magazine cover was generated by artificial intelligence.

DailyMail.com spoke to the creator of Gina Stewart, who became the world’s first AI model after landing a contract with a German-based modeling agency in May.

While men have designed many AI influencers, Gina was created by a woman who is a Playboy model – and she made the persona based on her own proportions and style. However, her AI model is 28, and she is 52.

‘The funny thing is the men love it,’ the creator, also named Gina, told DailyMail.com. ‘The AI models are glamorous, beautiful and desirable, like Playboy models of the 90s.

‘I guess it’s a similar concept to superheroes; everyone loves and has a favorite superhero, they go to the movies to watch, admire and obsess over them.

‘They want to be them, but they are not real. It’s a fantasy and an escape from reality.’

Gina, known as the 'world's hottest grandma,' shot to stardom on OnlyFans, but took her talents to Playboy in March after the UK-based subscription service had become too 'smutty' for her taste

The Australian creator is a mother of four and a grandmother who is a health and wellness coach when she is not designing her AI persona and posing for Playboy.

‘I look after myself with a mixture of yoga, light weights, meditation, and I believe testing for nutrition deficiency and supplementation,’ she said.

‘At 52, I don’t have one gray hair on my head.’

Gina, known as the ‘world’s hottest grandma,’ shot to stardom on OnlyFans, but took her talents to Playboy in March after the UK-based subscription service had become too ‘smutty’ for her taste.

And shortly after, AI Gina was created.

‘While traveling this summer in the US, I took a break from taking photos on social media,’ said Gina.

‘I was getting tired of setting up shots, hair, nails, makeup, clothing etc and all the time it takes from my day and the stress involved. I thought there must be a better way to work this if I needed a break.’

And this was the moment 28-year-old Gina from California was born.

AI influencers are taking the internet by storm.

These rising stars – who combined have hundreds of thousands of followers – are receiving admiration and cash from real men.

The human creators of these AI influencers are unknown faces on the web, only pushing out content to likely live a life they had only dreamed of.

However, this is not the case for Gina, who is transparent about her identity and how her AI persona came about.

‘I looked into AI and collaborated with an incredible artist on Instagram,’ she said.

‘We used 1,000 real photos of myself from all angles and naked, trained a deep learning program through stable diffusion, and cloned me.

The results were mind-blowing.

Initially, it was a bit of fun, so I started posting the AI version of myself on social media as a replacement for myself every day for a month, and then something funny happened. People loved her, and support started flowing in.

'I¿m in all new territory. This has never happened before in world history,' Gina told DailyMail.com

A car magazine approached me to use my ai for the cover of its magazine. So I accepted and was offered a 14-page pictorial.

‘It’s the latest edition 105 Autobabes magazine available in print and digitally worldwide.

‘Instantly, I became the world’s first real-life female model to have an AI magazine cover making history.’

After the magazine cover was printed worldwide, Gina was approached by an international modeling agency in Europe.

‘I’m in all new territory. This has never happened before in world history,’ she said.

The AI Gina also lets her create anything for any modeling agency with a push of a few buttons.

‘The beauty is I can sit on a beach in Malibu and create an AI model for a BMW campaign standing next to the car in front of the Eiffel Tower, Gina said.

‘Saving manpower, and time and being highly efficient.

I don’t have to wait for the weather, makeup or lighting. I don’t need taxis, hire cars, air travel, hotels, clothing etc.

I believe in sustainability and doing something good for the environment. So this way, I am not using huge resources.’

Britain has always been a nation of happy campers – and a new survey has revealed the 20 things Britons love the most about holidaying in a tent, with simply getting a bit of peace and quiet coming top (44 per cent).

Being in the great outdoors (38 per cent) and stargazing (34 per cent) are other aspects of camping Britons treasure, ranking second and third respectively.

In a further nod to nature, morning birdsong is in joint fourth place with exploring new places (27 per cent), followed by the sound of the rain falling on the tent (26 per cent).

The senses clearly evoke a sense of joy for British campers, who also favour the smell of bacon on a camping stove (sixth, 24 per cent), the sound of the tent zip (joint 10th, 20 per cent), and the smell of wet grass (joint 13th, 16 per cent).

Many look fondly upon the challenges too, such as trying to find the tent in the dark (15th, 11 per cent), while others like customs such as telling ghost stories (16th, 10 per cent).

A new survey has revealed the 20 things Britons love the most about holidaying in a tent, with simply getting a bit of peace and quiet coming top (44 per cent)

Almost a quarter (23 per cent) say you can’t beat campfires, which ranks seventh on the list, while 20 per cent love toasting marshmallows (joint 10th), and 17 per cent enjoy taking their dog along for the ride (12th).

Others love going back to basics or using a sleeping bag (joint eighth, 22 per cent), while for some the main draw is making campsite friends (joint 13th, 16 per cent).

Despite its perks, camping comes with some downsides too.

Two in five campers (40 per cent) say they dislike being bitten by bugs while for one in five (20 per cent), it’s sharing a tent with a snorer.

Other camping dislikes are having to go to the toilet in the middle of the night or having insects come into the tent (both 37 per cent).

The findings come from a new nationwide survey by car firm Dacia, which ‘has proved once and for all that Britons are a nation of keen campers’ with a ‘resounding’ 82 per cent claiming they either ‘like’ or ‘love’ it, the company says.

While the remaining 18 per cent are happy to admit they ‘hate’ it.

Overall more than a third (36 per cent) of camping fans feel more optimistic or satisfied with their life when surrounded by nature.

And with overseas trips out of the picture for many this year due to cost, 44 per cent say they have chosen to camp in the UK this summer in a bid to save cash.

Almost a quarter (23 per cent) of Britons say that the UK is the best place in the world to go camping, with the Lake District coming out on top as a favourite destination for it.

Luke Broad, UK brand director for Dacia, said: ‘We want to encourage Brits to make the most of spending time outdoors with their loved ones during these summer holidays.

‘With the research highlighting the positive impact of being outdoors, we hope it encourages more Brits to go on alternative holidays, such as camping, due to it being an affordable and enjoyable way to spend quality time with friends and family.’

For campers seeking a comfortable experience this summer, the car brand offers a Sleep Pack for its Dacia Jogger model, which has a ‘spacious’ interior that turns into a bedroom for two ‘in a matter of minutes’, the company claims.

Love Island star Adam Farrugia announces his engagement to his influencer girlfriend Renee Ashley after an elaborate proposal – as she shows off her huge diamond ring

Love Island star Adam Farrugia is engaged to his stunning influencer girlfriend Renee Ashley.

The former reality star and tradesman shared the happy news on Instagram on Friday, after dropping down to one knee that same day.

‘Lock it in Eddy. 04/08/23,’ the post was captioned.

Adam proposed by setting up an elaborate display of Polaroid pictures of the couple together, which led Renee out to the back deck of a home where he dropped down to one knee alongside their pet pooch.

As Renee burst into tears, Adam was nervously laughing and asked her: ‘Will you marry me?’

‘I’m shaking!’ Renee replied, before hugging Adam and slipping on her new sparkling diamond ring.

For the proposal, he bought Renee a gorgeous bunch of white flowers and set up some champagne for the pair to enjoy.

In the post, the couple can be seen gazing at each other affectionately as they prepared for their new life together, and in another image, Renee can be seen proudly showing off her new ring.

At the time, Adam was still living in Queensland, while Renee was based in Melbourne.

He’s best known for his dramatic split from Cartier Surjan on season two of Love Island in 2019.

Former Love Is Blind star Nick Thompson has revealed he is at risk of losing his home after struggling to find a job in the wake of his 2021 appearance on the Netflix reality show – for which is says he was paid just ‘$7.14 an hour’ while being ‘treated like a prisoner’.

The television personality-turned-mental health advocate, who appeared in the show’s second season, has claimed that his life has been ruined by the series, while hitting out at Netflix for ‘exploiting’ him and his fellow cast members.

Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com, Nick, 38, said he was only paid $10,000 for 10 weeks of filming and that there has been zero discussion about residual pay, despite the ongoing success of Love Is Blind, which has run for four seasons since its 2020 and is due to debut a fifth instalment in September of this year.

‘When you think about the amount of money that’s being made, and the way that it’s the path for future seasons, and the fact that anyone can go on and watch me… and I’m going to be homeless,’ he said.

‘I lost my job last November. I’m having an incredibly hard time finding [a new] one.

‘I burned through my savings that cashed out my 401(k). I’ve got two months left in the bank to pay my mortgage. I can’t get a job because people don’t take me seriously.

‘I was a VP in software for five years, so it’s not like I don’t have track record of experience or success.’

Nick also described feeling like he was being kept ‘prisoner’ during his time in the social experiment and believes that he and others by manipulated by producers and psychologists.

Shedding light on the brutal reality of filming Love Is Blind, Nick alleged that producers were ‘in control of you 24 hours a day’.

‘You are filming 18 to 20 hours a day,’ he claimed. ‘And that doesn’t that necessarily mean that you’re always going to be on TV, but you’re miked up from the moment you get there in the morning, and you’re miked up all the way until you leave.

‘Then when you go home at the end of the day, you’re locked in your hotel room without a key without your wallet without money without identification.

‘You literally are held captive like a prisoner and there is absolutely no reason that you shouldn’t be considered an employee when you’re technically under the control of your employer for 24 hours a day.’

Since appearing on Love Is Blind, Nick has gone on to co-launch the Unscripted Cast Advocacy Network (UCAN), which helps provide mental health and legal support to past, present, and future reality television stars.

His comments come just weeks after Real Housewives of New York City alum Bethenny Frankel called for a ‘reality TV reckoning’ amid the ongoing SAG and WGA strikes and argued that stars should receive residuals for the shows they appear in.

He is also in full support of Bethenny’s mission to have reality stars unionize, so that they can negotiate fair workers’ rights and fair pay.

Nick says he made just $10,000 from appearing on the show, explaining that he received $7,000 for seven weeks of filming and a further $3,000 for After The Altar, the episodes that followed the weddings.

He equates this figure to just $7.14 an hour, which is more than a dollar less than the $8.50 minimum wage of Illinois, where the show was primarily filmed.

To further highlight the measly sum, his earnings were also less than the national minimum wage, which was $7.25 in 2021.

While outsiders might argue that Nick could have walked away from the process at any moment, he alleged that he was contractually obligated to continue with the experiment or risk having to pay $50,000 in damages.

Nick believes that he and many other television personalities who appeared on reality shows have been exploited by the streaming platforms, who have churned out inexpensive content at the expense of cast members.

‘We were manipulated, our triggers were utilized against us,’ he claimed. ‘Anything that we shared with a producer or with a psych exam was weaponized against us.’

DailyMail.com has approached Netflix for comment.

While Nick did find love with Danielle Ruhl in the pods, the pair ended divorcing in August 2022 after one year of marriage.

When asked if he would have ever signed up for the show knowing what he knows now, Nick replied: ‘That’s a tough question. I go back and forth. I never thought I’d be on a reality TV show.

‘Even when I took the call, I was like, I’m not for this; I am not very dramatic, I’ve got my s**t together and I’ve got a good professional job, I’ve done a lot of therapy. Next thing I know, I was there.

‘When I think about everything that’s happened and I think about my relationship, it’s hard to say I wish I never did it.’

Exploited: Nick believes that reality stars have been taken advantage of and is in full support of the industry unionizing

Exploited: Nick believes that reality stars have been taken advantage of and is in full support of the industry unionizing

That said, Nick, who hosts his own podcast Eyes Wide Open, expressed that going on Love Is Blind ‘ruined his life completely’.

‘I wish I could just go back to having a nice life that I had built for myself, instead of wondering whether my mortgage is gonna get paid,’ he admitted. ‘It’s a brutal, brutal, brutal industry.’

Fellow reality stars are said to be feeling the same way about wanting to go on strike and unionizing, but Nick claimed they are too fearful to speak out about their experiences because of contracts.

‘We’ve probably talked to 100 150 people from various shows combined,’ he said, referring to his work at UCAN.

‘And the consensus among most is that they are scared to speak up because of the contracts and the NDAs. They are quietly supporting, but they’re afraid.’

Turning his attention to streamers such as Netflix, Nick, who is fighting for reality show cast members to be treated with dignity and to have basic human rights, said point blank that they do not care.

‘They’re just making that money because reality TV is extremely cheap to produce, and they can continue to do so through the strike,’ he said.

Nick implored Netflix to act and do right by reality stars. ‘They have a great opportunity to lead in the industry and get on the right side of the issue right now,’ he told us.

‘And I don’t hold grudges. If they come to me, or our foundation or to the coalition of people that we’re building, and they say, ‘let’s talk’, that door is always open to them. But they need to get on the right side of the issue.

‘They are going to write themselves out of business if they don’t start treating writers, actors, and all reality cast members properly. I invite them to the right side of the fight.’

Love Island is set to have its first black winner, to the delight of ITV bosses who have faced years of accusations that the dating show is racist.

Whitney Adebayo is favourite to be awarded the £50,000 prize during Monday’s final, which executives would consider a ‘big win’ for the under-fire network.

Although the reality show has had mixed-race winners before, it has been dogged by accusations of bias.

Black contestants are often the last to be chosen when islanders pick who they want to couple up with at the start of each series, and several cast members have spoken openly about prejudice after leaving the TV villa.

Yewande Biala, who appeared on the fifth series, wrote an open letter in which she spoke about ‘microaggressions’ and called out co-star Lucie Donlan for repeatedly mispronouncing her name, which she said, ‘is just another form of racism’.

Amber Gill, who is mixed race with Trinidadian heritage, won that series with Greg O’Shea.

And earlier this year Sanam Harrinanan and Kai Fagan, of Indo-Trinidadian and Jamaican heritage respectively, became the first non-white couple to win after starring in the show’s winter series.

Now TV insiders predict that entrepreneur Whitney, 25, will be crowned Love Island 2023 winner alongside her partner Lochan Nowacki, also 25.

A source said: ‘Whitney has won over the nation and ITV bosses could not be happier.

‘She has topped the public vote time and time again so the prediction is that she will go all the way and be crowned champion. Although she will be winning as part of a couple, it is Whitney who is the favourite among viewers.’

When Sanam won, she said: ‘I’ve had a lot of brown girls from the Asian community come up to me and say I saw you on TV, we never get any representation.’

Unlike any other summer season, this year’s Love Island, hosted by Maya Jama, has managed to avoid major controversies, and no contestants have quit early.

Love Island winners: Where are they now? From marriage and babies to bitter splits and shunning the spotlight… how our favourite couples got on AFTER the show ended

The 10th series of Love Island is about to kick off, with 10 sexy singletons gearing up to enter the famous villa

They may all be competing for a £50,000 cash prize but the winners can expect to start a whole new life after the show ends.

From landing giant sponsorship deals to walking down the aisle and having children, some winners have stood the test of time.

Sadly not every couple have remained together and while some have gone on to great success, others have faded from the celebrity scene.

Now MailOnline takes a look what happened to the winners of the last nine seasons.

Season One (2015): Jess Hayes and Max Morley

First winners: Jessica Hayes and Max Morley scooped the title as the series one winners in 2015, pipping favourites Hannah Elizabeth and Jonathan Clark to the top spot

Family: Jess fell in love with mechanic Dan Lawry in 2018 and the couple welcomed a baby boy, Presley, the following year

Jess Hayes and Max Morlye, both 30 years of age, found themselves on the surprise hit of the summer when they signed up for the first ever series of Love Island in 2015.

Although the contestants became stars, the reality show wasn’t quite the guaranteed star-maker it is today.

The couple walked away with the prize money, pipping favourites Hannah Elizabeth and Jonathan Clark to the top spot.

However their showmance didn’t last long and the pair split just six weeks after the cameras stopped rolling.

Max was quick to dust himself off and dated a string of other reality TV beauties including fellow former Love Islanders Zara Holland (series two) and Laura Anderson (series five).

He also appeared on Ex on the Beach in 2017 and had a fling with Charlotte Crosby.

Since then he has faded from the limelight and is thought to be working as a recruiter.

He rarely posts on social media and has not revealed who his partner is but they had a baby boy called Brooklyn in November 2021.

Jess has also experienced the joys of parenthood.

The social media star, who boasts almost 400,000 followers on Instagram, fell in love with mechanic Dan Lawry in 2018.

The couple welcomed a baby boy, Presley, the following year and her Instagram account is testament to the love and devotion she has for her son.

She and Dan were engaged after Presley was born but broke up in May 2021 and now co-parent their son.

In April Jess tragically suffered a second miscarriage and has been praised by fans for helping other women by speaking about her experience.

Season Two (2016): Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey

Cara De La Hoyde, 32, and Nathan Massey, 30, didn’t have a typical life after Love Island but they still managed to make their romance work.

After he left the villa Nathan had to go back to working on a building site within six months.

The carpenter admitted he was embarrassed to return to work so soon but he is now happily married to Cara and the pair are one of the only winning couples remaining together.

Cara and Nathan tied the knot in June 2019 and have two children together – daughter Delilah, four, and son Freddie, two.

The couple have remained in the public eye and Cara has often spoken about her struggles with depression, anxiety and OCD.

Since she was 16 she has been on various medication to deal with her mental health issues.

The star has been very open about her troubles and has accepted she may always have bouts of depression.

Amber Davies, 26, and Kem Cetinay, 27, stormed to victory in season three but it was just four months before the fan favourites broke up.

Despite this, since the couple took the Love Island crown in 2017, both Amber and Kem have had successful careers on and off the screen.

Amber has made appearances in reality shows such as And They’re Off! as well as documentaries including Amber & Dolly: 9 to 5 and When Reality TV Goes Horribly Wrong.

She soon began a career in musical theatre, starring as Judy Bernly in 9 to 5: The Musical, Campbell Davies in Bring It On: The Musical and is currently playing Lorraine Bains in Back To The Future: The Musical.

In December she revealed she’d found love at work, confirming she is dating her Back to the Future co-star Ben Joyce.

Meanwhile, Kem released a single with fellow Islander Chris Hughes that peaked at 15th in the UK music charts.

He also began co-presenting the podcast Love Island: The Morning After with Arielle Free in 2018 but the pair were replaced by Sam Thompson and Indiyah Polack this year.

Kem also owns a restaurant in Romford called Array, a move that came as a shock to fans as he failed to impress on Celebrity Masterchef

Jack Fincham, 32, and Dani Dyer, 26, took the season four crown after being a fan favourites from day one.

They famously refrained from having sex in the Love Island villa and went on to win the nation’s hearts as Jack sweetly asked her to be his girlfriend.

Days after leaving, Jack told The Sun: ‘We’re getting married next year, 100 per cent. Like my mum said to me so many times, “When you know about someone, you just know.” And now I know what she’s talking about. I just know that that’s what we want to do.’

However, the romance wasn’t to last and even though they moved into their own flat the couple broke up after five months.

Dani has made several TV appearances, including as Jeanette in EastEnders last year alongside her father Danny.

She welcomed son Santiago with ex-boyfriend Sammy Kimmence only for him to be jailed for three years in 2021 for scamming pensioners out of £34,000.

In May she welcomed twin daughters with her West Ham forward boyfriend Jarrod Bowen, naming the newborns Summer and Star.

Meanwhile, Jack shares a baby daughter called Blossom with one-time fling Casey Ranger.

Jack has struggled to find success after leaving the villa and has even had a brush with the law.

The TV star was spotted by police in January 2021 in his £30,000 Mercedes near his home in Swanley.

Prosecutors said he was found to have high levels of cocaine by-product, as well as Valium, in his blood, but his lawyers argued that the blood test taken was a ‘false positive’.

Jack later had his drug-driving charges dropped after a lack of ‘reliable evidence’.

Amber Gill, 25, and Greg O’Shea, 28, swooped in to beat favourites Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury in 2019 despite Greg only entering the show two weeks before the final.

However, their short-lived romance wasn’t sustainable outside of the villa, with Greg dumping Amber ‘by text’ just 39 days later – a claim he denies.

Since her skyrocket to fame, Amber has been inundated with brand sponsorship deals and was the face of clothing brand, MissPap, in a deal that was reportedly worth £1 million.

She also made a string of guest TV appearances since her shock win and has also released a romance novel and appeared on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins last year.

But with greater popularity comes greater pressure, and the Love Island winner revealed she was struggling to find her perfect match and worried that she attracts men for the wrong reasons.

Last year she confirmed that she was dating footballer Jen Beattie after revealing she dates both men and women.

Meanwhile, Greg O’Shea returned to Ireland to carry on his rugby sevens career.

He famously turned down big money deals in favour of training for the Tokyo Olympics, where he and his teammates came tenth in the rugby sevens.

Paige Turley, 25, and Finley Tapp, 23, won the first-ever winter edition of Love Island in early 2020 as the pair were crowned champions in South Africa.

The couple quickly moved in together and were able to stay happily together throughout the Covid pandemic.

Finn later credited lockdown with helping their relationship, saying: ‘I think lockdown helped in a way whereby you didn’t need to come out [of the villa] and then get pulled from pillar to post everywhere and stuff like that.

‘It was nice to actually just have a little bit of time. I didn’t really want all of that time that we ended up having because of lockdown.

‘But it was nice having that little bit of time to continue to work on Paige and I and it just sort of grew from strength to strength.’

However they called it a day in April after three years together, with the pair said  to have realised they ‘weren’t forever’.

Insiders claimed: ‘Paige and Finn had a really good run, but they are still super young and decided it wasn’t forever in the end.’

Adding that they are now living separately, they continued: ‘Paige is spending some time back in Scotland while she works out what she wants to do next.’

Paige, who used to date popstar Lewis Capaldi, has since suggested she wants to launch a singing career, having previously appeared on Britain’s Got Talent.

Millie Court, 26, and Liam Reardon, 23, managed to win season seven despite struggling through a tough period when Liam’s head was turned in Casa Amor.

The couple lasted for a year before splitting the following July amid rumours Liam had been unfaithful, claims the pair strongly denied.

Addressing the split, Millie shared with fans: ‘It’s been a tough decision and I am gutted but it’s ultimately what is best for us right now. Thank you to every single one of you for supporting our relationship.’

Liam echoed her sentiments and penned: ‘Nothing will ever take away from the amazing experience we shared in Love Island and the past year we’ve been so lucky to both come into each other’s lives.’

Their tale had a happy ending, however as the pair reconciled in April

Ekin-Su Culculoglu, 28, and Davide Sanclimenti, 27, had a bumpy ride in the villa but won the nation’s hearts with their real yet rocky romance.

The pair went on to land their own TV show, where they travelled to their hometowns in Italy and Turkey to meet each other’s families.

Ekin-Su also experienced more reality TV as she signed up for Dancing On Ice shortly after leaving the villa.

But the couple announced they had split last month following an 11 month romance.

Ekin-Su returned to Instagram last week after her split and wrote: ‘Hi everyone, I thought it was time to come back online to thank you so much for all of your messages over the past 2-weeks.

‘It has shown me what a kind, supportive, strong community I have behind me. I took some much needed time away with my family which has been really special but now it’s time to realign & get back to work.

‘I have such an exciting year ahead & I want to fully focus on that. I really appreciate your ongoing support. Thank you for cheering me on. Ekin x’

Kai Fagan, 24, and Sanam Harrinanan, 24, made history with their win in season nine as it’s the first time a Casa Amor bombshell has been victorious.

The down to earth couple won over fans with their laidback attitude and have not chased after the spotlight since leaving the villa.

Sanam worked as a social worker before the show, and in a new interview she had admitted her decision to appear on Love Island has put a halt to her previous career.

‘I can’t go into social work again, I don’t think I’ll be able to,’ she admitted to heat Magazine.

She added though that she has plans to use her new platform to help her local community.

‘I’ve got a meeting about it this week with my social work manager because I want to be able to use this platform to help children locally,’ she explained.

She previously revealed she plans to use some of the £50,000 prize money to support her mum – who he is on her own after her dad passed away – as well as potentially invest in projects to help children.

P.E. and science teacher Kai meanwhile has said he hopes to continue working with kids but knows his career path will most likely have to change.

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL BRING TO THE VILLA? Energy. I’ll bring a bit of banter, be cheeky, and I’m a flirt! very, very strong personality so if I see anything I don’t agree with, there’ll definitely be fireworks!

WHAT GIVES YOU THE ‘ICK? Someone who gets too clingy too quickly. I don’t like too many calls and too many texts. I’m not a fan of someone wearing Nike Air Force 1 trainers with a dress on a night out either or waking up with someone and seeing patchy fake tan in the morning.

WHY LOVE ISLAND? I think it’s ideal timing and the perfect way to find someone. I don’t go out and party and I don’t use dating apps, I’m actually quite old-fashioned, so there’s no better way to meet someone than by going into a Villa in the sun with the potential ‘one’ in there.

DO YOU HAVE ANY CLAIMS TO FAME? With my job being in social media, I’ve had some amazing opportunities to go on press trips and I’ve actually been out to the ‘Love Island’ Villas in Mallorca and South Africa. Having the experience to walk around both was amazing but to now actually live in the Villa is going to be incredible.

Lochan Nowacki

Lochan Nowacki

WHY ARE YOU EXCITED TO GO INTO CASA AMOR? I feel like I’m excited because a lot of the people in relationships aren’t fully secure. I know the type of person I am as well, so I feel like I can turn heads. I’m not going to be disrespectful and I’m proud of my morals as a person. I’m confident that I can go in and not necessarily stir it up, but open the ladies’ eyes to what could be a better couple.

HOW DO YOU PLAN ON TURNING PEOPLE’S HEADS? I have a top three in my mind already, so I’ll probably be pulling them for chats quite quickly and letting them know they’re the top three people I want to speak to. But I’m confident I’m a people person, I’m not going in there to act any differently to how I am with my own friends. I back myself that people will see that and see my good looks and bish, bash, bosh.

WHY ARE YOU EXCITED TO GO INTO CASA AMOR? I want to find a boyfriend! Everyone on Love Island is so sexy. I feel like the kind of person that would do Love Island is definitely the type of person I could be in a relationship with.

HOW DO YOU PLAN ON TURNING PEOPLE’S HEADS? Having good eye contact. Everyone says my eyes are my best feature. My plan is to gauge how they’re feeling. I always call it my ‘spidey senses’. I’m a very good judge of character, I can see through people and see their energy. If they fancy me I should be able to gauge it quite well, so I should know who to graft with and who to leave to the side.

I have a fiery side too, if I think someone is in the wrong or they overstep the line, I’m not afraid to go tell them. In terms of my looks, I’d say I’m a 5ft2” pocket rocket.

DO YOU HAVE ANY CLAIMS TO FAME?  When I was a dancer, I actually danced at the EMAs and danced for Rita Ora and Camila Cabello. Maura Higgins is one of my best friends and we watched her best bits together one night and couldn’t stop laughing, she’s hilarious.
