Black guitarist who has played with Dave Matthews and John Mayer slams American Airlines after flight attendant suspected he had kidnapped his biracial children and called police who were waiting for him when he arrived in LA

  • Guitarist David Ryan Harris says cops and an American Airlines flight attendant suggested that one of his kids didn’t belong to him following a recent flight

A musician who has performed with John Mayer and The Dave Matthews Band took to social media to slam American Airlines after it was suggested that one of his bi-racial children did not belong to him.

David Ryan Harris said that he was flying from Atlanta to Los Angeles with his two kids when the incident occurred. As the plane landed in LAX, Harris said they were met by an American representative and four police officers.

‘Apparently, a flight attendant had called ahead with some sort of concern that perhaps my mixed children weren’t my children because they were unresponsive,’ Harris said in a video that he posted on Instagram

The dad went on to say that his 7-year-old, the child who the attendant was concerned over, is ‘pretty shy.’ Her suspicions were apparently aroused when the child did not engage nor answer her question about his name. Harris said the entire interaction lasted about 30 seconds.

After a brief interrogation, Harris said that the officers were satisfied with his answers and allowed the family to continue their trip. ‘I wanted to go through the roof,’ Harris said, adding that he did not want to show anger in front of his kids.

Harris said that he lodged an official complaint with the airline but never heard back until his first social media post in which he discussed the affair went viral.

The guitarist stressed that the entire incident could have been handled differently had the attendant checked the plane manifest and seen that the family all held the same last name.

Harris also said that his children have frequent flyer accounts with American which further proves their identity.

He called her actions ‘poor form,’ in his first video about the incident.

‘There were many steps that she could have taken before she lobbed the hand grenade of having the authorities called,’ Harris added.

Many in the comments suggested that the attendant’s heart was in the right place and that she believed the child was in danger or was being trafficked.

The Department of Homeland Security points to a person being non-communicative as a sign of human trafficking.

American Airlines ’empowers’ staff to act if they feel as though human trafficking is taking place.

The agent who contacted Harris went through the steps that the airline takes in order to prevent trafficking. The agent also said that the entire incident was under investigation.

Harris was offered 10,000 air miles, an offer he described as ‘kinda insulting.’

If strolling down the Hollywood Walk of Fame is on your bucket list, it might be time to think again.

Because the popular hotspot running through the heart of Los Angeles has actually been ranked as the world’s worst tourist attraction.

Luggage storage network Stasher analyzed a whole host of factors to reveal which sights to steer clear of on your next vacation.

It included Google reviews, quality of local accommodation, distance from the nearest international airport, tourist safety and TikTok popularity to give each attraction an overall score out of ten.

And it turns out that the famous boulevard is far from alone in being underwhelming – as dozens of other attractions have also left visitors disappointed.

The Tate Modern in the UK, the Palace of Versailles in France and Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany were all among the worst-rated list.

Take a look below to explore the 15 hotspots which were the least satisfactory.

15. Forbidden City, China (5.41 out of 10)

Forbidden City is a sprawling imperial palace complex situated in the heart of Beijing.

It was commissioned in 1406 by an emperor of the Ming dynasty and so named because access to the area was barred to most of the subjects of the realm.

But despite its long history – it seems that it leaves much to the imagination.

Among the Google reviews people wrote that tourists had ‘expected more’ after being left ‘extremely disappointed with how boring the inside of the place was.’

And another simply branded it as ‘repetitive and expensive.’

14. Magic Kingdom Park, USA (5.41 out of 10)

The Magic Kingdom Park in Orlando, Florida, is one of the most visited amusement parks in the world – with more than 17 million people attending in 2022.

The theme park consists of classic attractions, enchanting fireworks, musical parades and a whole host of Disney characters.

But it seems that many visitors to ‘the land where fantasy reigns’ were actually left in disbelief.

The recurring issues were around price and cost with one Google review summarizing most of the complaints in one, writing: ‘Terrible, overcrowded, there is not even space where to sit to eat.

‘It is not possible to ride anything because of the lanes. Just a terrible day.’

13. Great Smoky Mountains National Park, USA (5.39 out of 10)

The world-renowned Great Smoky Mountains National Park straddles the border between North Carolina and Tennessee.

Its official website states that it is America’s most visited national park thanks to the ‘diversity of plant and animal life, the beauty of its ancient mountains, and the quality of its remnants of Southern Appalachian mountain culture.’

But not everyone agrees.

A recent visitor passionately argued: ‘Don’t waste your time…  I’m a huge supporter if our parks but this is the WORST national or state park we’ve ever visited.’

Another branded it ‘an absolute travesty’ and added: ‘You cannot find a more poorly operated national park in the US.’

12. PortAventura World, Spain (5.37 out of 10)

PortAventura World, which consists of ‘six worlds in a single destination,’ claims to have been the first theme park in Spain.

It currently boasts more than 40 rides and five kilometers of rollercoaster track.

Yet, one user wrote: ‘We came here to have fun and a relaxed time but it is not fun at all.’

Elaborating further as to why, she slammed the staff as ‘impolite and unfriendly’ and claimed it ‘smelt like a sewer’ before criticizing the queuing system and adding that it was ‘strewn with litter.’

Another simply labeled it an ‘endless disappointment.’

11. Pier 39, USA (5.27 out of 10)

Located in San Francisco, the iconic Pier 39 is a 45-acre waterfront complex lined with restaurants, shops and independent attractions.

It also offers stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Bay Bridge and Alcatraz.

But it seems that is still not enough for some.

Pier 39 has been branded as ‘a big disappointment’ with one Google reviewer elaborating further: ‘It has become so dirty and smelly over the years.’

Others also criticized the place as a whole, writing: ‘San Francisco is no more a safe place to live or visit or tour.’

10. Everland, South Korea (5.17 out of 10)

Korea’s largest theme park, Everland, welcomed its first visitors in 1976 and continues to draw in the crowds.

It is split into five individually-themed zones – namely Global Fair, American Adventure, Magic Land, European Adventure and Zootopia.

Yet, it seems that it is still not enough to meet everyone’s needs.

Visitors took to review forums in their droves to argue that it was ‘too old’ and ‘disappointing’ with ‘too many people.’

Someone else stated that despite the big build-up, ‘generally, the attractions are lousy.’

9. Great Wall of China, China (5.05 out of 10)

The Great Wall of China is one of the largest building-construction projects ever undertaken – with the total length of all sections ever built adding up to about 21,196 kilometers.

It actually consists of numerous walls that were built over some two millennia across northern China and southern Mongolia.

And, despite the feat, some visitors were less than impressed.

One tourist wrote: ‘There were throngs of people pushing and shoving to buy tickets and the huge queues to get on the wall itself.’

Issuing a warning to others, another added: ‘Expect to spend a few hours in the heat among thousands while standing.’

8. Fushimi Inari Taisha, Japan (5.04 out of 10)

The Fushimi Inari Shrine, which has ancient origins, is the most important of several thousands of shrines dedicated to Inari – the Shinto god of rice.

Most foreign tourists primarily visit to explore the surrounding mountain trails – but the building itself is also incredibly attractive.

But not everyone could see the beauty as one user claimed that it was a ‘joke,’ adding: ‘Not a serious place by a mile.’

Another added: ‘We didn’t spend long here as it was like sardines and crammed with tourists.’

And a third, referencing the approach via stairs, said it was ‘a miserable slog to nothing’ and ‘poorly designed.’

Ocean Park has been billed as a ‘must-see destination for nature lovers and inquisitive minds’ as well as being a go-to for thrill-seekers.

The site, which is praised for its immense and diverse attractions, opened in 1977 and has been delighting almost all visitors ever since.

But there are some that have been left wanting more.

One family who visited earlier this year wrote a review to brand it: ‘The biggest disappointment during our Hong Kong trip.’

And another summed it up by simply saying it was ‘absolute sh*t.’

6. Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong (4.89 out of 10)

The city façade Victoria Harbour in Hong Kong, often considered to be the birthplace of the city itself, has become one of the most recognizable skylines in the world.

The surrounding area is bustling with hotels, retail shops and commercial offices in a busy neighborhood that never sleeps.

But, with the Pearl of the Orient welcoming 55 million visitors to its shores every year, it seems impossible to keep them all happy.

One such disgruntled visitor wrote: ‘Please don’t even bother. There is nothing here.’

Another added that they were ‘not certain why people would come to view this’ before a third candidly said: ‘Went around in circles. Not much to see.’

5. Lotte World, South Korea (4.80 out of 10)

Lotte World is a major recreation complex in Seoul, South Korea, and is home to the world’s largest indoor theme park – as well as a mall and aquarium.

Having open in 1989, it has been a staple for locals and tourists alike for decades – but not everyone is convinced.

One recent reviewer wrote: ‘This has to be one of the worst theme parks I have ever visited. It is overcrowded. There is nowhere near enough rides with capacity for the amount of people they cram into this place.

‘The rides are pretty poor and none of them have less than an hours wait unless you are there at rope drop.’

And someone else simply said: ‘I had never seen so many people in such a tiny park.’

Despite there being a staggering 12,000 animals, one wrote: ‘Absolutely waste of time do not visit save your money.

‘The place is dirty and full of attitude from the catering staff. Animal enclosures are disgraceful.’

It seemed as though they had more to say, but concluded: ‘Don’t really want to waste anymore of my time reviewing the sh**hole.’

And others agreed, urging tourists to ‘do something else with your vacation.’

3. Taj Mahal, India (3.83 out of 10)

The Taj Mahal is widely considered one of the most beautiful buildings ever erected.

The immense mausoleum of white marble was built in Agra, India, between 1631 and 1648.

It was commissioned by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife whom he dubbed Mumtaz Mahal or ‘Chosen One of the Palace.’

However, even the love story was not sweet enough for some, as one visitor wrote: ‘The Taj is a bit cliché, once you have seen the photos there is nothing really extra to see.’

One particularly unhappy visitor branded it as ‘a lifeless celebration of death’ with the experience only being ‘exacerbated by the hagglers who will haunt you like hyenas every step of the way.’

The Grand Bazaar in Istanbul, Turkey, is one of the world’s oldest covered markets, having been running during the Ottoman Empire as the marketplace of jewelry and precious hand-woven textiles.

And the impressive legacy continues today as it is now home to more than four thousand sellers.

However, it still ranked as second worst tourist hotspot in the world following the analysis – losing several points for tourist safety – and the reviews also gave an added insight.

One states: ‘I have to be completely honest. I was really looking forward to seeing this place and I was really let down. I thought the variation of things was poor and more importantly the attitude of the sellers just annoyed me. I don’t think I’d ever bother going back again.’

And another reads: ‘Full of fake goods. Nothing has price displayed. Sellers aggressive/pestering to the point of being rude.’

1. Hollywood Walk of Fame, USA (3.42 out of 10)

Topping the list of least popular landmarks from around the world was the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

There are more than 2,700 plaques lining the sidewalk on the boulevard to commemorate some of the biggest names in the industry.

Yet, even still, most visitors branded it as ‘average’ on various review sites.

Giving specific details about its perceived flaws, one tourist appeared to sum up the situation with a review that read: ‘This is grim. It’s just a lot of grubby stars on a pavement.

‘The area is awful, with aggressive street sellers, and others half dressed with trousers around their knees, shouting and swearing at passers by. Famous stars are surrounded by mobile burger stands. Save your time and give this a miss.’

Life in the fold of the super-rich comes with serious perks, these nannies and former nannies reveal.

They’re taking to TikTok to lift the veil on the reality of au pairing for the super-rich – and shedding light on the luxurious benefits that are part and parcel of the role.

Working holidays on private yachts, flying by private jet, VIP access to theme parks and meals cooked by private chefs can be all in a day’s work, they reveal.

One example is Ginger Rose Smith, 27, who recently shared a video about her experience working as a nanny for a Middle Eastern royal family who were spending time in Los Angeles. It taught her ‘how the wealthiest of the wealthy live’, she reveals.

Ginger Rose, who is no longer a nanny, was employed in the position five years ago  to support herself while she was doing an unpaid internship in the city. Speaking to MailOnline Travel, Ginger Rose says that VIP access to ‘some of the most elite shops, events, and shows’ was one of the biggest perks of the role. She says: ‘We’d go shopping at the Nike store and they would literally close the store down for us to shop there.’

Many nannies and former nannies to the world's millionaires and billionaires are taking to TikTok to share their experiences in the profession. Above is Ginger Rose Smith, who formerly worked as a nanny for a wealthy family in Los Angeles

Many nannies and former nannies to the world’s millionaires and billionaires are taking to TikTok to share their experiences in the profession. Above is Ginger Rose Smith, who formerly worked as a nanny for a wealthy family in Los Angeles

The most luxurious experience she had, she reveals, was when she accompanied the family on a trip to the Universal Studios Hollywood theme park. ‘I got to see how the one per cent attends these sort of experiences,’ she says, adding: ‘We had a personal guide [and] got to cut straight to the front of every line.’

Ginger adds that when they went on rides at the theme park, no other park visitors were allowed on the ride at the same time. ‘That day was pretty crazy,’ she says.

Another bonus was the ‘free stuff’ she was gifted. Ginger says: ‘I cleared out one of their spare rooms and they told me I could keep anything I wanted – I found a box filled with gift cards and over $400 (£322) worth of quarters.’

And meals cooked by the family’s private chef were another plus. ‘I would get to work in the morning and their private chef would ask me what I wanted to eat. There was always a million staff coming and going,’ she says.

Chef-prepared dishes are something Sami Jean Williams also enjoys daily in her role as a nanny – she frequently shares videos of these lunches and dinners with her 27,000 followers on TikTok.

Originally from Prince Edward Island in Canada, Sami has spent the Past two years working for uber-rich families – with billionaires among her employers – in the U.S.

In her videos, Sami, who is currently working for a family in Miami, reveals that other perks of the job include travelling by private jet, swimming in families’ private pools and holidaying with families on their private yachts. ‘Some families take you on vacation if they want you to help,’ she explains.

A video she shared of a yacht holiday on the job – titled ‘life is good’ – has racked up more than eight million views, with one user, ‘Bella’, declaring Sami’s role the ‘dream job’. And ‘user423541’ commented: ‘Some people live incredible lives.’

Valerie DaBaldo documents her day-to-day life as a nanny on TikTok. 'The biggest perk is definitely the endless adventures and events I get to experience,' she reveals

Another North American TikToker, Katrina Martin, also offered insight into the glamorous holidays that can be part of the role in a series of viral videos.

In one clip, which has racked up more than 3.2million views, she admits: ‘My experience as a nanny was terrible, to say the least, but the one kind of interesting thing from my experience was that they took me with them on a family vacation to Turks and Caicos. We flew there on a private jet and we stayed in this insane villa – I’ve never seen anything like it.

‘It was giant. The staff there later told us that celebrities like Drake, Rihanna [and] countless Victoria’s Secret models had all stayed there.’

And luxury travel is a perk similarly enjoyed by nanny Valerie DaBaldo, 19, who is a university student and works as a live-in nanny in the summertime. Greece, Florida and Long Beach Island on the eastern coast of the U.S are among the destinations she has travelled to as part of the role.

Describing how wealthy host families travel, she tells MailOnline Travel: ‘They don’t take ordinary trips, it’s always top of the line… the biggest perk is definitely the endless adventures and events I get to experience with [my host family] because they can afford to bring a nanny along.’

She adds: ‘I also gain access to limited clubs and country clubs just by being their nanny.’

And the homes she stays in as a live-in nanny are equipped for a pampering lifestyle. She says: ‘Wealthy people have an endless amount of luxurious technology and access to luxurious places. The home I stay at now has two saunas, a steam room, [a] home gym and a personal [masseuse] that we can call whenever.’

Documenting her life as a nanny on TikTok, Valerie shared one video showing her enjoying the walk-in shower in her host family’s ‘$9million (£7.3million) beach house’ that has racked up nearly 40,000 views. Another shows her unwinding in their infrared sauna, while others show her sunbathing by the pool or on the beach during her time off work.

She also frequently shares outfit videos with her followers on TikTok, from bikinis for the beach to more laid-back looks for running errands.

Valerie says that while working, she spends ‘most travelling days exploring with [the family’s children], at the pool or beach’. She adds: ‘My role as a nanny mainly comes at night when they’d like to visit a theme park or when they need a ride somewhere.’

Naturally, this exposure to luxury also applies to nannies hired by A-list stars, TikToker Rachel DiBease reveals.

Now a model and content creator, she spent several years working as a nanny for famous families in the U.S and tells her followers: ‘As a celebrity nanny you are exposed to a different kind of wealthy.’

In one TikTok video, she reveals how she received gifts such as a Gucci bag from one of her employers and in another, she describes how one of the high-profile families she worked for ‘had an elevator put in [to their home], a bowling alley, a sauna, a game room with Skee-Ball [arcade machine]… just everything’.

What about pay? New Jersey native DiBease worked as a medical assistant before becoming a nanny and admits that the career change quadrupled her annual salary.

She says that in the U.S, nannies working for celebrities and high-profile clients are paid annual salaries that range from $75,000 (£61,000) to $175,000 (£142,000). ’They are very high paying, almost always six-figure positions,’ she admits.

This set salary isn’t the only financial perk to the role. DiBease says: ‘I trialled with families who were open to giving me a living stipend if I lived in New York or California where the cost of living is really expensive… that’s something that a lot of families offer.’ Paid time off and a 401(k) – a retirement savings plan – are also common, she explains.

So how do you become a high-profile nanny? There are nanny agencies designed specifically for high net-worth families, DiBease reveals. Among them are agencies such as ‘The Nanny League’ and ‘Elite Nannies’.

When it comes to interviewing for the role, DiBease notes that wealthy families ‘really look for individuality’ from their nannies. It also helps if you’re bilingual, she adds.

Sofia Richie looks sporty in leggings and a white baseball cap while out to lunch with husband Elliot Grainge in LA… after whirlwind Milan Fashion Week trip

Fresh off her trip to Italy for Milan Fashion Week, Sofia Richie spent a relaxing day with her husband Elliot Grainge and friends back home in Southern California.

The group were spotted making their way in and out of the Brentwood Country Mart in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles on Saturday, less than two days after Richie was seen at the star-studded Prada party in Milan.

The daughter of pop superstar Lionel Richie opted to keep things casual and comfortable in skintight black leggings, which helped showcase her toned figure, a matching spaghetti-string top, and blue sneakers.

She also wore cool dark sunglasses and a white baseball cap over her long blonde tresses that were pulled back into a ponytail.

Richie, 25, appeared to be in a hurry to get back to their parked vehicle after enjoying some food and drinks.

As for Grainge, 29, he looked in a jovial mood, laughing and smiling during the walk along the sidewalk dressed in light brown pants, a white sweatshirt and sneakers.

The UK native appeared to be carrying some leftovers from the meal in a bag.

Their friends, who followed close behind them for the walk from the shopping center, appeared to be a man and a woman.

By the time they reached their SUV, Richie got in the back left passengers seat, while Grainge made his way to the driver’s side.

Before partying up at the Prada party on Thursday, Richie also struck a few poses at the Italian luxury fashion house’s Spring/Summer 2024 Womenswear Fashion Show.

The Los Angeles native was also seen around Milan leading up to the Prada fashion show and party.

Just over a week earlier, Richie had also made the rounds during New York Fashion Week, which went from September 7 through 13.

Grainge is the founder of music label 10K Projects and also the son of Universal Music Group chairman and CEO Lucian Grainge.

Richie had been friends with Grainge for years before they started dating in 2021 after their fathers crossed paths in the music industry, according to People.

They ended up tying-the-knot in a lavish wedding this past April in the French Riviera in front of a slew of A-list guests.

The couple also legally married in the U.S. before the French nuptials, exchanging personal vows at home with just their parents in attendance.

Russell Brand breaks silence: Under-fire comedian faced ‘extraordinary and distressing week’ after rape and sexual assault allegations – as he begs fans to ‘support him’ and reveals when he will be returning to his show on Rumble

Russell Brand has broken his silence claiming he has faced an ‘extraordinary and distressing week’ after being accused of rape, sexual assault and emotional abuse.

Speaking in a short three minute video the under fire comedian thanked his followers for their ‘support and for questioning the information that you have been presented with’, before announcing he would be returning his show on Rumble.

Over the last week, several women have come forward to make allegations against the comedian, 48, which they claim happened at the height of his fame.

The shocking claims, said to have happened between 2003 and 2013, include the alleged rape of a woman at his home in Los Angeles in 2013 and alleged the sexual assault of a 16-year-old schoolgirl.

Brand denied the accusations claiming any relationship he had was consensual and has remained silent since The Sunday Times and Channel 4‘s Dispatches first reported the allegations of predatory and abusive behaviour on Saturday.

In the past week, more women have come forward with accusations while the Metropolitan Police have launched an investigation into an alleged sexual assault in Soho in 2003.

The scandal has seen Brand’s PR firm MBC PR and talent agency Tavistock Wood remove him from their websites, while his publisher Bluebird suspended their relationship with the comic.

In a short video he said: ‘Hello there you awakening wonders, obviously it’s been an extraordinary and distressing week and I thank you very much for your support and for questioning the information that you have been presented with.

‘By now, you’re probably aware that the British government has asked big tech platforms to censor our online content and that some online platforms have complied with that request.

‘What you may not know is that this happens in the context of the online safety bill which is a piece of UK legislation that grants sweeping surveillance and censorship powers and it’s a law that’s already been passed.’

He added: ‘I also don’t imagine that you’ve heard of the trusted news initiative and now, as often is the case when a word like trusted is used as part of an acronym to describe an unelected body, trust is the last thing you should be offering.

‘The trusted news initiative is a collaboration between big tech and legacy media organisations to target, patrol, choke and shut down independent media organisations, like this one.’

A fuming traveller claims £1,000 ($1,200) worth of items went missing after an airline ‘lost’ her luggage for two months – despite her AirTag tracker revealing that it was at the airport.

Sarah Waite, 25, travelled from Los Angeles to Athens, with a layover in Paris.

But when she landed in the Greek capital, she discovered her suitcase had not made it on to the plane and would arrive later.

A week later, Sarah, who is originally from Los Angeles, received a notification from her AirTag, a tracking device by Apple, saying her bag had left Paris and was finally in Athens.

When she went to pick it up, she claims Air France staff told her they didn’t have it despite the AirTag showing its location at the airport.

When Sarah landed in Athens she discovered her suitcase had not made it on to the Air France plane and would arrive later. In the end she waited two months to be reunited with it

The registered nurse spent two months without her luggage after the flight on May 14.

And when she was finally able to retrieve it, Sarah claims her suitcase had been damaged and £1,000 ($1,200) worth of items were missing, including shoes and makeup.

Sarah described the whole experience as ‘horrible and traumatising’.

It was the trip of a lifetime for Sarah, who travelled to Athens to pursue her dream of learning modern and ancient Greek literature.

So her dream trip wasn’t off to a good start when she landed in Athens with no luggage.

She said: ‘I went to claim my luggage and almost all of the passengers were informed that it was arriving later.

‘We all had to make a claim at the Air France desk at 2am local time.

‘There were probably about 60 people that stayed to file the claim, me being one of them.’

In the hope of speeding things up, Sarah filed a claim online while waiting in the physical queue.

At 5am in the morning, three hours after landing, she finally left Athens International Airport – without her luggage.

Sarah had an AirTag inside her suitcase so she could see that the item was in Paris, where she’d had her layover.

She said: ‘Luckily I had an AirTag inside my luggage so I could see that Air France was not lying and it really was still in the Paris airport.’

Sarah kept in touch with airline staff over the next few days but found the communication difficult.

She said ‘I kept in contact with Air France about my claim and they were not communicative at all, leaving me on hold for long periods, not connecting me with someone who spoke English.’

A week later, on May 20, Sarah’s AirTag sent her a notification revealing that her luggage had left Paris Charles de Gaulle and was finally in Athens.

She decided to make her way to the airport but when she arrived, she was unable to reclaim her belongings.

Sarah documented her lost-luggage frustrations on TikTok, revealing on one clip that she received $600 (£485) in compensation from Air France

Sarah said: ‘I went to the help desk and then finally to the lost and found with lots of effort and back-and-forth argumentation about my claim number.

‘It was not there and there was nothing I could do, even though my AirTag said it was there.’

As she found herself without her suitcase, Sarah, who suffers from Graves’ disease, had to buy a number of items including her thyroid medications.

The condition is an autoimmune disorder that can cause hyperthyroidism or overactive thyroid.

She said: ‘I lost hope but I continued my communication with the airline every day, sending them receipts of the items I had to purchase.’

Two months later, on July 20, Sarah was still able to track her AirTag, so she made a final attempt and travelled to the airport again.

When she arrived, Sarah went to the airline desk and confronted the staff.

She said ‘The people helping me were very rude, yelling at me when I expressed frustration, telling me there is nothing they can do even though they work at the airport and can take me to the AirTag location.

‘They even threatened to call the police on me because I started video recording the situation.’

A video shows the interaction between herself and the staff, where an argument breaks out.

According to Sarah, the staff eventually agreed to take her to the lost and found where she was finally able to retrieve her luggage.

When she was reunited with her suitcase, Sarah claimed that it was clear it had been damaged and items lost.

She explained: ‘I got my bag, but again with extreme frustration.

‘I went to the help desk and got permission to access the lost and found.

‘I went to the lost and found and then the other lost and found but my bag was not there.

‘I finally broke down and cried in front of the entire staff and that is when someone said, “Oh we called you, okay stay here.”‘

She added: ‘It took extreme emotional expression to get the people to understand who I was and that I was contacted, even though I was telling everyone who helped me out that my name is Sarah Waite and I was called because my bags were found.

‘A young man took me to the customs area where my AirTag was tagged and I got my bag.

‘My luggage was completely ripped open, shoes were gone, makeup gone, bags were missing and the original lock on the zippers is not on it.

‘I am devastated still, but at least my medication, which is in a liquid form, if you have Graves’ disease then you know, is viable.’

Sarah documented her lost-luggage frustrations on TikTok, revealing on one clip that she received $600 (£485) in compensation.

Air France has yet to respond to requests for comment.

The distraught mom and brother of rapist Danny Masterson have been spotted visiting him in jail in photographs exclusively obtained by DailyMail.com.

Carol and Jordan Masterson looked exhausted as they arrived at the Twin Towers jailhouse on the same day the convict’s wife Bijou Phillips filed for divorce

Wearing a black leather jacket with matching trousers and shoes, Carol stared stonily at the ground as she approached the Los Angeles prison, while Jordan looked downcast in a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans.

They did not appear to be speaking as they marched solemnly down the sidewalk before being scanned by a security guard.

Their visit came amid the bombshell announcement from Bijou that she has filed to divorce the disgraced actor – despite previously supporting him throughout a grueling trial in which his traumatized victims detailed how he ruined their lives.

Masterson, 47, was jailed last week for 30 years after being found guilty of raping two women, both members of the Church of Scientology, in 2003.

Jurors were deadlocked over a third allegation of rape against the actor, brought by his ex-girlfriend Chrissie Carnell-Bixler.

Bijou, 43, sobbed when Masterson was handed the decades-long sentence and he blew her a kiss as he was escorted to the cells.

The formerly devoted wife, who even sent a letter to Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Charlaine Olmedo begging for leniency ahead of his sentencing, was consoled afterwards by brother-in-law Jordan.

But Jordan appeared in need of emotional support himself as he arrived looking tired and a little disheveled at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility on Tuesday, which may have marked his first time visiting his half-brother in prison.

The That 70’s Show star was convicted on May 31 after two long trials, the first of which ended in mistrial, and many of his close relatives endured hearing the harrowing details of his sexual assaults as they watched on from the public gallery.

Phillips began sobbing in court as her husband, and the father of her young daughter, was sentenced to 30 years in prison for the rape of two women

She sobbed in court when jurors returned guilty verdicts, and held a handkerchief to her face during his September 7 sentencing hearing, when Judge Olmedo handed him a prison term which will require him to stay behind bars for at least 25.5 years.

In a letter to the judge prior to Masterson’s sentencing, Phillips praised him as a husband and father.

‘I can say that Danny has literally been a life-saving partner to me,’ Phillips wrote in a reference to Masterson’s care for her and their daughter after Phillips had a kidney transplant in 2017.

She also noted Masterson’s aversion to drugs – a common principle of Scientology – and his apparent dedication to helping young actors escape the downfalls of wealth and fame.

But as she heard the heartbreaking testimonies of his victims in court in a harrowing trial, Phillips seems to have reconsidered her marriage.

The women, known to the court as Jane Doe #1, #2 and #3, focused not only on the disturbing details of the sexual assaults, but also about the part the church of Scientology played.

They recalled being intimidated and driven from their community as the church punished them for speaking out against Masterson.

Bijou’s lawyer Peter A. Lauzon said the case has been ‘unimaginably hard on the marriage and the family’.

‘Ms. Phillips has decided to file for divorce from her husband during this unfortunate time,’ Lauzon said in a statement seen by TMZ.

‘Her priority remains with her daughter. This period has been unimaginably hard on the marriage and the family.

‘Mr. Masterson was always present for Ms. Phillips during her most difficult times of her life.

‘Ms. Phillips acknowledges that Mr. Masterson is a wonderful father to their daughter.’

They dined at Dos Carlitos restaurant, along with her and Danny’s nine-year-old daughter Fianna

The supportive younger brother offered his sister-in-law a comforting hug and embrace upon arrival before the group sat down and chatted over their meal.

Bijou has reportedly said her date of separation with Danny is ‘TBD’, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their divorce, according to freelance journalist Yashar Ali.

She has asked for spousal support and attorney fees and wants her legal name changed back to Phillips rather than Masterson.

Phillips will have custody of their daughter as expected given Masterson will be behind bars potentially for the rest of his life – but Ali said she will allow their daughter to visit him in jail.

More than 2,200 people crossed the river from Coahuila into Eagle Pass in a tactic pushed by drug lords to deliberately overwhelm U.S. Customs and Border Patrol.

By tying up crucial resources, it leaves Mexico’s cartels free to carry out human trafficking and smuggling operations uninterrupted.

As midnight approached the group could be seen wading through the deep waters to reach the other side, much to the surprise of some local Mexican residents.

One could be heard on camera exclaiming how only a small portion of the group were crossing at that one moment – with hundreds more following behind.

By the time daylight arrived, the group were being rounded up by Border Patrol as they huddled under a bridge in Eagle Pass.

The footage was shot in Piedras Negras, the Mexican town which lies directly across the river from Eagle Pass.

The flagrant breaking of immigration rules took place next to the port of entry as those crossing the border thumbed their noses at the Biden Administration.

It was March 2021 when Biden pleaded with those thinking of making the journey to the U.S. ‘do not come’ with the threat of  ‘consequences’ for those crossing illegally.

‘I can say quite clearly: Don’t come. We’re in the process of getting set up, don’t leave your town or city or community,’ Biden said.

This latest wave of migrants who are mainly Venezeulan are believed to have travelled up through Panama.

Similar scenes have been witnessed along the border with towns and federal processing centers are now at overcapacity as a crush of crossings cripples the nation.

Last week there were more than 7,000 illegal crossings across the U.S.-Mexico border on several days.

Nearly 500 miles away from Eagle Pass in El Paso, a similar surge was experiences as 1,700 migrants crossed in a 24-hour period.

The migrants would then line up along the border wall and surrender to officers to then claim asylum in the US.

About 500 asylum-seekers mainly from Venezuela lined up at El Paso on Monday, reported KVIA.

Over the last week the region has seen a spike in encounters with 1,200 on average coming over each day. 4,200 migrants are being housed in local hotels rather than shelters.

Across the border as a whole, as many 9,400 migrants have crossed into the US in a single 24-hour period – almost equalling figures seen in May before the end of Title 42 which saw 10,000 people come into the country each day.

‘The way it’s being orchestrated through the cartels, I believe it’s meant to overwhelm the system. The [places] that are being impacted the most are border communities,’ former El Paso City Councilmember Claudia Rodriquez told The New York Post.

No street releases have been made in the El Paso region unlike in California and Arizona.

Last week, photos depicted at least three white unmarked Border Patrol buses filled with migrants parked in San Diego.

It led to several hundred people being released onto the streets. One migrant was even told by an agent: ‘You’re free to go on and do wherever you want. You’re free.’

He asked: ‘It’s no problem if I go to Chicago?’

‘You can do whatever you want,’ the official replied.

Border Patrol in San Diego has reportedly been dealing with 20,000 migrants in custody last week – 5,000 more than facilities can manage.

It can’t accommodate more than 15,000 migrants and migrants are being released onto the streets to fend for themselves after being processed at the border.

Similar migrant releases took place in Tucson, Arizona, with agents coming across 2,000 people a day and dealing with packed shelters.

In Texas, State Representative Eddie Morales says the migrants made the trek by hopping on trains.

‘It’s obviously a security issue, we have concerns over their safety and we need to address this in the most – expeditious manner,’ Morales said to News4SA.

‘Under U.S. immigration laws, most non-citizens coming to our border are not eligible to remain in the United States. Asylum laws do not provide for relief solely for economic reasons or for general violence,’ U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) tweeted on Monday.

After the public health order known as Title 42 was lifted in May 11, CBP says the U.S.  ‘returned to fully enforcing Title 8 immigration authorities to expeditiously process and remove individuals who arrive at the U.S. border unlawfully and do not have a legal basis to stay.’

Texas Congressman also Terry Gonzales also shared similar frustrations.

‘Eagle Pass is completely overrun right now. El Paso is getting overwhelmed right now. Arizona is getting overwhelmed right now.

‘The only way we can regain control of the southern border is by enforcing the laws that are on the books. That’s exactly what the administration needs to do. That’s exactly what Congress needs to focus on.

‘All Americans deserve to feel safe in their own communities and right now they do no. A lot of folks see it on TV and they think it will never happen to them. Well I’m here to tell you it’s already happening, whether you’re in New York, whether you’re in Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles.

‘These folks that are coming over illegally, they’re coming to all parts of the country. It’s only going to get worse.’

One day earlier, a cargo train filled to the brim with migrants was spotted speeding toward the Mexican border with the United States.

Astounding footage of the FerroMex train was shot as the locomotive with hundreds in tow could be seen coming out of the Central Mexican city of Zacatecas as it made its way northbound on the 750-mile journey toward the U.S.

Container after container could be seen filled with migrants getting an easy ride as the goods train zoomed by.

There was whistling and cheering from those on board as the group hitched a ride. Some of the travelers could even be seen hanging out from the sides of the train.

The train was headed for the U.S. southern border – where in the southwest, roughly 2 million migrants have already made their way into America in 2023. Border towns have been crushed by the influx thanks to the lax border policies of the Biden administration.

The migrants looked to have prepared themselves for a long journey with many having erected tents and canvas over portions of the containers in a bid to shield themselves from the elements.

The videos comes as the latest figures from U.S. Customs and Border Patrol show a rise in the number of encounters with migrants at the Southern Border.

In July there were almost 184,000 migrant crossings into the U.S. – up from 144,000 encounters with border patrol from June.

Although the figures rose on a month-by-month basis, the numbers are still well below that of previous years when in 2021 and 2022 more than 200,000 crossed into the U.S. from Mexico.

The U.S. border has seen a flood of migrants from across the world, not just Central and South American nations such as Venezuela and Mexico. There have been migrants from China and other places entering via the porous southern border.

The video comes as recent data from U.S. Customs and Border Patrol reveals an increase in encounters with migrants at the Southern Border between June and July of this year

The 2022 fiscal year saw record-breaking numbers of encounters with migrants at the Southwest border with 2,378,944 reported crossings from October to September.

In 2023, through July, there have been 1,973,092 – many of them coming as Title 42 expired.

The number of migrant crossings in August is set to exceed 230,000, according to Fox News.

Most migrant encounters are single adults, at 64.9 percent, but almost 600,000 are individuals in a family unit and there have been 109,298 unaccompanied minors crossing the border.

Issues of overcapacity are happening all across the southern border. Along with Tucson – street releases are happening in the San Diego sector and in Santa Cruz County, California.

Texas has also been using razor wire to block migrants illegally entering as it battles a challenge from the Biden administration seeking to stop it from building a buoy barrier in the Rio Grande.

The Lone Star State has also been busing migrants to ‘sanctuary cities’ such as New York, Chicago, Philadelphia and Los Angeles in order to give border towns some relief.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott argues that Texas cities have carried the weight of illegal immigration and ‘sanctuary cities’ need to share that burden.

‘Texas has bused over 35,000 migrants to self-declared sanctuary cities,’ he wrote earlier this month on  Twitter.

‘Over 11,300 to D.C., over 13,300 to NYC, over 6,700 to Chicago, over 2,600 to Philadelphia, over 1,000 to Denver, over 480 to LA.’

Russell Brand was met by scores of cheering fans as he arrived at his sold-out Wembley gig hours after being accused of rape, sexual assault and emotional abuse.

Breaking cover this evening, Brand arrived at Wembley’s Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre almost an hour late to perform his show Bipolarisation after getting ‘stuck in traffic on the M40’, before ending his show early ahead of tonight’s Channel 4’s Dispatch programme which went into further detail about the allegations.

Four women have alleged sexual assaults between 2006 and 2013, when Brand was at the height of his fame, working for BBC Radio 2 and Channel 4 as well as starring in Hollywood films.

Brand also faces allegations of controlling, abusive and predatory behaviour, following a joint investigation by The Sunday Times, The Times and Channel 4 Dispatches. He has denied all the allegations.

Wearing an open neck black shirt, the 48-year-old comedian appeared to brush aside the allegations as he received a massive round of applause from his audience – with one woman holding a sign saying ‘We stand by you Russell. Stay strong. Stay Free. We love you.’

Father-of-two Brand told the crowd: ‘I love you. I love you. Thank you. There’s some things I cannot talk about and hopefully you appreciate that I’m gonna give you everything I’ve got.’

A man who looks like the comedian walked past the stage minutes after the gig started, with Brand joking he looked like body double.

‘That might come in handy,’ he quipped.

Tonight’s show comes after four women alleged sexual assaults between 2006 and 2013, when Brand was at the height of his fame, working for BBC Radio 2 and Channel 4 as well as starring in Hollywood films.

Brand vehemently denies the allegations and in a video posted online on Friday, stated all of his relationships have been consensual, before accusing the media of a ‘co-ordinated attack’.

In the clip, the 48-year-old claimed he was facing a ‘litany of extremely egregious and aggressive attacks’.

‘Amidst this litany of astonishing, rather baroque attacks are some very serious allegations that I absolutely refute,’ he said.

‘These allegations pertain to the time when I was working in the mainstream, when I was in the newspapers all the time, when I was in the movies and as I have written about extensively in my books, I was very, very promiscuous.’

Speaking to fans this evening, Brand cracked jokes about his father and masturbation. He also spoke about changes to his lifestyle.

‘I’ve changed my life – I’m now a vegan and don’t look at pornography,’ he told crowds.

‘I’m trying to love a spiritual life and discern what is real and what is false.’

He later added: ‘I know I’m not the only one who doesn’t trust authority.’

He made jokes about being a father and dealing with his children, quipping: ‘Go to sleep now or I’ll burn your f***ing unicorn.’

He added: ‘You think this is the real me? ‘This is an act!’

In the report by The Times, one woman alleges Brand raped her against the wall in his Los Angeles home.

A second woman alleges that Brand assaulted her when he was 31 and she was 16 and still at school. It is claimed the actor referred to her as ‘the child’ during an emotionally abusive and controlling relationship that lasted for about three months

A third woman alleged the comedian sexually assaulted her while she worked with him in Los Angeles and that he threatened her with legal action if she told anyone.

While the fourth claimed she was sexually assaulted by Brand who she alleges was physically and emotionally abusive towards her.

Audience members in Wembley were reading news reports about the claims on their phones before Brand’s gig started, as Rebel Rebel by David Bowie played.

The allegations have not put off fans who have travelled from across the country to watch the show.

Some were still appealing for tickets even after the allegations surfaced this afternoon, with one taking to Twitter asking: ‘Looking for two spare Russell Brand in Wembley tonight. DMs open.’

But others on social media said the recent accusations against the actor might have an impact on the mood.

‘Is anyone at the Russell Brand gig tonight at Wembley Park? Be interesting to gage audience reaction, because I can imagine the atmosphere will be very low,’ one person asked.

An announcement played to the theatre said: ‘Russell is stuck in traffic on the M40. The start will be closer to 7.40pm. He is 100 per cent on his way. He is looking forward to seeing you soon.’

One of Brand’s alleged victims was still attending school when she was sexually assaulted by him.

Alice – not her real name – who was 16 at the time, was shopping outside Topshop on Oxford Street when Brand approached her and began rifling through her bag. He pulled out a dress and asked her if she would be wearing it on their date.

Their relationship lasted three months and Alice, as well her mother, both described Brand’s behaviour as ‘grooming’.

Towards the end of the relationship, the woman, now 31, said the comedian sexually assaulted her.

She told the paper: ‘I was sat up in the bed up against the headboard, and he forced his penis down my throat and I couldn’t breathe. It was just choking me and I couldn’t breathe, and I was pushing him away and he wasn’t backing off at all.’

Alice said that Brand manipulated women for sex by joking about his sex addiction and countless relationships.

She added: ‘I think he was very skillful in the start of making his identity be, ‘I’m the womaniser. I’m a sex addict. I’m inappropriate but it’s all just a joke, it’s funny’,’ Alice claims, ‘It’s a smokescreen for a lot more of his dark behaviour’.’

The women who have accused Russell Brand

‘Alice’: She was 16 when she claimed her and Brand entered a three-month relationship.  Reportedly referring to her as ‘the child’ during their fling, she alleged Brand ‘forced his penis down her throat’.

‘Nadia’: She accused Brand of pinning her against the wall of his LA home in July 2012 before allegedly raping her.

‘Phoebe’:  She and Brand reportedly met while at Alcoholics Anonymous. She accused Brand of sexually assaulting her in a bedroom as she screamed for him to stop.

‘Rachel’: The former runner used to work with Brand when he presented Big Brother’s Big Mouth. She claimed Brand flashed his penis at her when in his dressing room and made inappropriate advances towards her.

Jordan Martin: Brand’s ex-girlfriend alleged he sexually assaulted her in 2014, writing about the reported encounter in her self-published book.

Brand has denied the allegations and said his relationships have all been consensual.

In late 2020, Alice contacted Brand’s literary agent, Angharad Wood, the co-founder of Tavistock Wood, to report the actor’s alleged behaviour.

She claimed she was told by a lawyer acting on Brand’s behalf that he denied the accusations. But in a fresh development tonight, Brand was removed from the websites of Curtis Brown and Tavistock Wood.

In a statement about Alice’s 2020 allegations, Tavistock Wood tonight said: ‘Russell Brand categorically and vehemently denied the allegation made in 2020, but we now believe we were horribly misled by him. Tavistock Wood has terminated all professional ties to Brand.’

A second woman, who is named as ‘Nadia’ claimed to have had consensual sex with Brand in June 2012 in his LA home.

Nadia, who is a businesswoman, said she then visited the actor at his home again on the morning of July 1 where she claimed a ‘naked’ Brand came bounding out of his bedroom before then assaulting her against a wall.

Recounting the alleged incident to The Times, she said she ‘tried to get away’ and ‘slipped’ before then getting stuck on a painting.

‘At this point he’s grabbing at my underwear, pulling it to the side,’ the woman told the paper.

Nadia alleges Brand then grabbed her and pushed up against her after she told him she wanted to leave.

‘He’s a lot taller than me. And he has that glazed look in his eye again. And I can’t move. And I told him, ‘Get off, get off.’ Nadia claims Brand pushed her up against the wall and raped her, without a condom.

After the alleged attack, Nadia said she ‘ran out and jumped’ into her car. She claimed Brand later sent her a text, saying: ‘I’m sorry. That was crazy and selfish. I hope you can forgive me.’

Nadia later replied, telling Brand he had ‘scared the s*** out of [her]’ before claiming the actor apologised and claimed she asked him if she needed to be tested for a sexually transmitted disease, which he said she did not.

The Times claimed Nadia decided against pressing criminal charges against Brand – but that the Los Angeles Police Department had been alerted to her alleged assault after she reportedly attended a Rape Treatment Centre in Santa Monica.

The following year, Brand allegedly sexually assaulted another woman in her twenties called Phoebe – which is not her real name – after reportedly meeting her at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.

Phoebe said the pair started working together before having a brief sexual relationship, which ended by the time of the alleged attack in early 2013.

She told The Times how Brand allegedly trapped her in a bedroom after realising he wanted to have sex with her.

Phoebe told the paper he ‘grabbed’ her and put her on the bed before describing how his eyes were eyes were ‘black, like the devil’.

She claimed Brand then put his ‘hands down my trousers’ as she was screaming and fighting for him to get off of her.

‘I was screaming, and I was like, ‘What are you doing, stop, please, you’re my friend, I love you, please don’t do this, I don’t want to do this’,’ she told The Times.

Phoebe told the paper Brand eventually got off her before he ‘flipped’ and became ‘super angry’, shouting ‘f*** you… you’re fired’.

A short time later, Brand left the US and moved back to Britain. It was then that serious allegations about his conduct came to light.

In 2014, Brand’s ex-girlfriend Jordan Martin wrote about their relationship in her self-published book kNot: Entanglement with a Celebrity, in which she renames Brand ‘Randall Grand’ and herself ‘Dina’.

The Times said she declined to be interviewed about the incident but reported that she ‘stood by’ her account, which detailed their six-month love affair.

In the book, Martin alleged that Brand assaulted her while at Manchester’s Lowry Hotel following an argument about her ex-boyfriend.

Writing about the alleged experience, Martin accused Brand of coming up behind her after the incident and sexually assaulting her and alleged he ‘slides his hand down the front her low hanging jeans, into her underwear and forces a finger inside of her’.

Other allegations reported by the paper claimed that Brand’s alleged attitude towards women became an ‘open secret’ in radio and TV production, according to sources.

While hosting his BBC radio show on 6 Music The Times claimed it was told Brand and his co-host, Matt Morgan, would sometimes undress in the studio and encourage guests to do likewise.

Morgan, who no longer works with Brand, told the paper that during his time with the Hollywood star he was ‘never aware of any allegations of serious sexual misconduct against’ the comedian before insisting he ‘absolutely condemns all form of mistreatment of women’.

He added he was ‘regretful to learn that a show I was part of made colleagues uncomfortable at times.’

A runner who worked with Brand when he presented Big Brother’s Big Mouth alleged the star flashed her and made inappropriate advances at her.

Rachel‘ – not her real name – told The Times in a report published today that when she was 24, Brand flashed his penis at her as she walked into his dressing room.

She claims the comedian and actor ‘insinuated’ she could perform oral sex on him. Rachel said she was shocked by the comment and refused.

The alleged victim said she felt unable to report what had happened and feared that she would lose her job if she complained.

Brand, who has denied all allegations of impropriety made against him, is alleged to have continued to pursue Rachel, despite her rejection.

Brand is alleged to have told her that he was forbidden from having sexual contact with ‘anyone working on Big Brother’.

The revelations came ahead of a much-anticipated Channel 4 Dispatches investigation, Russell Brand: In Plain Sight set to air at 9pm tonight.

Last night Brand addressed his fans telling them he had received two ‘extremely disturbing letters from a ‘mainstream media TV company’ and a newspaper.

Addressing his fans, the comedian said he had been accused of ‘a litany of extremely egregious and aggressive attacks, which are untrue’.

His video drew backing for tech billionaire Elon Musk, who owns X – formerly known as Twitter, self-professed misogynist social media star Andrew Tate and Brand’s sister-in-law, Kirsty Gallacher.

Amidst his denial of the allegations the 48-year-old actor said ‘we have seen coordinated media attacks before’, referring to Joe Rogan announcing he had taken anti-parasite drug Ivermectin to treat his Covid-19 infection during the pandemic.

Brand said he was ‘aware of newspapers making phone calls’ and ‘sending letters’ to people he knows for ‘ages and ages’, claiming he feels that ‘there’s a serious and consorted agenda to control these kind of spaces’, referring to his YouTube channel.

He added: ‘Amidst this litany of astonishing rather baroque attacks, often very serious allegations, that I absolutely refute.

‘These allegations pertain to the time when I was working in the mainstream, when I was in the newspapers all the time, when I was in the movies.

‘And as I’ve written about extensively in my books, I was very, very promiscuous.

‘Now, during that time of promiscuity, the relationships I had were absolutely always consensual.

‘I was always transparent about that. Then almost too transparent, and I’m being transparent about it now as well.’

Brand continued: ‘To see that transparency metastasized into something criminal that I absolutely deny makes me question, is there another agenda at play?

‘Particularly when we’ve seen coordinated media attacks before, like with Joe Rogan, when he dared to take a medicine that the mainstream media didn’t approve of, and we saw a spate of headlines from media outlets across the world using the same language.’

Get Him to the Greek star Brand also said there had been calls for his Community Festival Hay-on-Wye to be cancelled.

Following the father-of-two’s bombshell video, he received the backing of disgraced influencer Andrew Tate – who recently won his freedom after months of house arrest amid an investigation into sex trafficking claims against the kickboxer and his younger brother, Tristan, 35.

Supporting Brand, controversial social media star Tate, 36, took to X, posting a cartoon meme of a knight preparing for battle, captioned: ‘On my way to fight the crazy b***h allegations’.

Alongside the image, he captioned it ‘Welcome to the club Russell Brand’.

Tate, who is currently facing charges of rape and human trafficking – which he has denied – in a separate Tweet responded to Brand’s video calling it a ‘Matrix attack’.

Brand also appeared to win the support of tech tycoon Musk, who appeared to sympathise with him. ‘Of course. They don’t like competition,’ he replied to the comedian’s video on X.

Both Musk and Brand have experienced similar criticism over the years being branded as conspiracy theorists.

During the pandemic Brand was condemned for airing Covid conspiracy theories and in 2014 he received backlash after claiming he was ‘open minded’ about the idea the US government might have been behind the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

The Tesla boss has also been known to publicly support conspiracy theorists as some ‘have turned out to be true’.

Later, Brand’s sister-in-law Kirsty Gallacher appeared to show her support for the controversial celeb.

The Smooth Radio presenter, 47, who is the older sister of Brand’s wife Laura, shared the comedian’s two-minute video on Instagram with a large red love heart.

Brand married his wife, who is currently pregnant with their third child, in 2017. Mrs Brand has not commented anything publicly or shared anything on social media since her husband made the video. She has since appeared to delete her Instagram account.

Amongst the ‘very serious allegations’ made, Brand said there was also a ‘litany of astonishing attacks’, which he called ‘some pretty stupid stuff’ including calls for his Community Festival in Hay-on-Wye to be cancelled.

He added: ‘I need my voice along with your voice. I don’t mind them using my books and my stand up to talk about my promiscuous sexual conduct in the past. What I seriously refute are these very serious, criminal allegations.

‘Also its worth mentioning that there are witnesses whose evidence directly contradicts the narratives that these two mainstream media outlets are trying to construct, apparently in what seems to be to me a coordinated attack.’

Throughout the clip, he mentioned how subscribers to his YouTube channel had previously written in the comments section ‘watch out Russell, they’re coming for you’.

Brand closes the video, which has already had 4.9million views since it was uploaded to X at 11.21pm on Friday, by saying: ‘In the meantime I want you to stay close, stay awake, but more importantly than any of that – if you can, please – stay free.’

Brand performed the latest rendition of his show, Russell Brand: Biopolarisation, in Wembley.

MailOnline understands the sold-out Tuesday performance of the show, at London’s Theatre Royal Windsor venue, is also still due to go ahead.

Gigs in Plymouth, on Friday, and Wolverhampton, on September 28, are also still listed.

Confused fans have taken to social media to question whether the performance will go ahead.

One said: ‘Please can you confirm if the performance tonight is ging ahead and if there is an option for a refund?’

Another added: ‘Any chance of a refund? There’s a show on at 9pm on Channel 4 that I don’t want to miss.’

On the tour’s website, it said the show discusses ‘rules and rules breaking’, ‘democracy and freedom’.

It adds: ‘We reach conclusions from mass confusion by polling the live audience.’

‘Stay free’ is a phrase Brand frequently used to ends his videos on his channel.

But hours before he was due to take to the stage, Brand was seemingly removed from the his agency websites.

Following his denial of allegations against him and ahead of the Channel 4 documentary tonight, Brand’s PR firm MBC PR and talent agent Tavistock Wood no longer advertise him as a client on their websites. However, it’s understood MBC PR still represent him.

Brand’s statement came amid rumours on social media about whether a scandal about a famous person could feature in the investigation airing today.

Brand, an only child from Grays in Essex, became famous thanks to his one-man stand-up shows. For a brief time was the toast of London, sleeping first with supermodel Kate Moss (who regretted her choice) and then allegedly with Moss’ friend Sadie Frost, too.

He shot to fame in the noughties as a TV and radio presenter, hosting series including Channel 4’s Big Brother’s Big Mouth and a BBC Radio 2 show.

The 48-year-old comedian later graduated to Hollywood, starring in films including Rock of Ages, Get Him to the Greek, Despicable Me, and more recently Death on the Nile.

His fame was cemented by the 2008 tome ‘My Booky Wook’ soon afterwards, in which he told of his heroin addiction and numerous sordid sexual encounters including sex with prostitutes and joyless orgies.

The following year he lost his slot on a BBC Radio 2 show after calling up Fawlty Towers actor Andrew Sachs to boast about having had sex with his granddaughter, Georgina Baillie.

At that time it seemed there was nobody he couldn’t charm. In 2010, after a brief courtship, he married dazzling pop star Katy Perry in a seven-day ceremony in India. They had met at the MTV VMA awards when Perry had thrown a plastic water bottle at his head.

By December of 2011, the Brand had fled for divorce from Perry, citing irreconcilable differences.

Russell Brand’s comments in full:

Hello there you awakening wonders. Now this is not the usual type of video we make on this channel where we critique, attack and undermine the news in all its corruption because in this story I am the news.

I have received two extremely disturbing letters – or a letter and an email – one from a mainstream media TV company, one from a newspaper listing a litany of extremely egregious and aggressive attacks, as well as some pretty stupid stuff, like my community festival should be stopped and I shouldn’t be able to attack mainstream media narratives on this channel.

But amidst this litany of astonishing rather baroque attacks are some very serious allegations that I absolutely refute. These allegations pertain to a time when I was in the mainstream, when I was in the newspapers all the time, when I was in the movies, and as I’ve written about extensively in my books I was very, very promiscuous.

During that time of promiscuity the relationships I had were absolutely always consensual. I was always transparent about that then, almost too transparent, and I am being transparent about it now as well.

And to see that transparency metastasized into something criminal that I absolutely deny makes me question is there another agenda at play.

Particularly when we have seen coordinated media attacks before, like Joe Rogan where he dared to take a medicine the mainstream media didn’t approve of and we saw a spate of headlines of media outlets around the world using the same language.

I am aware that you guys in the comments have been for a while saying ‘watch out Russell, they’re coming for you,’ ‘you are getting too close to the truth’, ‘Russell Brand did not kill himself’.’

I know a year ago there was a spate of articles: Russell Brand is a conspiracy theorists; Russell Brand is right wing.

I am aware of newspapers making phone calls, sending letters to people I know. For ages and ages, it’s been clear to me or at least feels to be there’s a serious and consorted agenda to control these kinds of spaces and these kind of voices.

I need my voice along with your voice. I don’t mind them using my books and my stand up to talk about my promiscuous sexual conduct in the past. What I seriously refute are these very, very serious, criminal allegations.

Also its worth mentioning that there are witnesses whose evidence directly contradicts the narratives that these two mainstream media outlets are trying to construct, apparently in what seems to be to me a coordinated attack.

Now, I don’t want to get into this any further because of the serious nature of the allegations but I feel like I’m being attacked and plainly they are working very closely together.

We are obviously going to look into this matter because it is very, very serious.

In the meantime, I want you to stay close, stay awake but more importantly than any of that, if you can stay free.

The Thor star, 40, flashed his silver wedding band as he showed off his bulging biceps in a khaki T-shirt.

Hiding his eyes behind a pair of dark sunglasses, the Hollywood hunk showed off the tattoo on his inner forearm as he leaned against the barrier.

He waited patiently with his mother as aviation services ushered the crowd through the line toward the taxis.
