Lauren Boebert revealed she has ‘peacefully parted ways’ with her Aspen bar owner theatre date after the pair were caught on camera fondling each other and kicked out of a Denver performance of Beetlejuice.

Speaking on Fox News on Friday night, the Colorado Congresswoman apologized to her constituents for her behavior. 

‘I messed up. I went on a date night in I am a congresswoman and a public figure but believe it or not, I am human too. Obviously everyone is interested in my personal life in me going through a very difficult divorce,’ Boebert began.

‘It has certainly been taxing to have this experience broadcast before the whole world, something that was in the dark is certainly heartbreaking to watch to see and I have apologized to my constituents, and will continue to do so. 

‘All of those in Colorado who may have felt let down, I hear you and all I can do is promise to do better. I will live and lead with strength and grace with humility moving forward.’

Toe-curling footage showed Quinn Gallagher groping Boebert’s breasts as she in turn rubbed his crotch. 

Footage also showed Boebert waving her hands, singing loudly, using flash photography and vaping before being aggressive with staff who removed her from the theater.

On Friday, Boebert denied being drunk at the time of the incident.

‘No, I was very excited about the actual musical. I’m a huge fan of Beetlejuice. Anyone should go and see the musical if it’s in your area and please let me know how it ends because I have yet to see the ending,’ she joked. 

‘It has been 20 years since I was on the dating scene and there were not infrared cameras back then watching my every move. It’s a lesson learned, as I said I’m truly humbled and apologize to my people and Colorado’s Third District,’ she went on.

‘It is my responsibility to bring levity to my constituents lives, never gravity.  Never should my actions burden those who I represent. It will work to only bring levity to them and bring as many solutions as possible. This whole week has been a total distraction.’

Asked whether she was still with her date, Quinn Gallagher, Boebert revealed how the pair had broken up.

‘I hope we stay friends for a long time, but he and I, we have peacefully parted ways. He’s a very nice man but right now, all future dates have been canceled with him and everyone else. I have work to do.’

Yet when DailyMail.com caught up with him in Aspen this week it seems that Gallagher may not have got that memo.

Seen for the first time since we revealed him to be Boebert’s ‘mystery man,’ Gallagher – who co-owns Hooch Craft Cocktail Bar in Aspen – remained tight lipped and smiled slightly when asked if he and Boebert had really broken up.

When pressed he responded: ‘I’m sorry I’m not in a position to say anything about that.’

As he walked away, the congresswoman’s then boyfriend then hastily placed what turned out to be a lengthy phone call.

During the evidently animated conversation that followed, he put his head in his hands and gestured in the air more than once. 

Dressed in plaid shirt and jeans, at times he paced on the sidewalk opposite his Aspen bar while at others he sat on a nearby park table.

He remained with his head down and engrossed in his phone, texting long after the call had finished.

Earlier this week it emerged that Gallagher, identified by DailyMail.com, was a registered Democrat whose bar hosted drag shows – which Boebert has described as immoral.

The 36-year-old grandmother said drag shows offend her Christian beliefs, tweeting: ‘Take your children to CHURCH, not drag bars.’

It is not clear when Gallagher and Boebert’s relationship became romantic, but the bar owner originally comes from the congresswoman’s hometown of Rifle, Colorado, and he still has family there.

It is just a stone’s throw from the controversial congresswoman’s home in Silt.

The controversial congresswoman had originally denied the happenings in the Denver theater claiming the vape smoke was actually from a fog machine and issued a sarcastic statement playing down the anger.

But she made a startling U-turn blaming her behavior on her ‘public and difficult divorce.’ 

‘The past few days have been difficult and humbling, and I’m truly sorry’ she wrote in a statement. 

‘There’s no perfect blueprint for going through a public and difficult divorce, which over the past few months has made a challenging personal time for me and my entire family.’ 

Speaking about the controversy, she also blamed the media for drawing so much attention to her raucous behavior.

Boebert’s divorce from Jason, 36, her husband of 18 years and father to her four children, is ongoing after the couple’s shock split in May.

At the time Boerbert insisted that she had always been faithful throughout her marriage.

Surveillance footage from last Sunday’s incident shows Boebert, wearing a tight, low-cut gold dress and high heels, making a considerable fuss as she and Gallagher left – taking a selfie as she left the auditorium and angrily baring her teeth at staff.

She also gave ushers the finger. The Denver Post spoke to a pregnant woman who says she was sitting behind Boebert, but who was too scared to give her name for fear of MAGA-reprisals. 

The woman claims Boebert said ‘no,’ when asked to stop vaping, sang with her hands in the air, blew vape smoke at her, kissed her date and took repeated videos during the show. 

Boebert is also said to have told the complainer she was a ‘miserable’ person.

The eyewitness claims she asked to move seats in the intermission – and that staff at the theater said theirs wasn’t the only complaint about the erratic lawmaker. 

The woman also told the Post that Boebert’s lover Gallagher offered to buy them cocktails as a peace offering, which she had to decline because of her pregnancy.

An incident report noted the two received a warning at intermission about their behavior.

But five minutes into the second act, security officials received another complaint about a person being loud and recording the show.

‘They told me they would not leave,’ an usher said, according to the report.

‘I told them that they need to leave the theater and if they do not, they will be trespassing.

‘The patrons said they would not leave. I told them I would (be) going to get Denver Police. They said go get them.’

Afterwards, Boebert and her smartly-dressed date were caught on camera walking off through the empty nighttime streets of Denver.

Once outside Boebert’s indignation quickly dissipates as she holds her new lover’s hand, dances coquettishly and twirls for him in the street as they make their way through the city – a three-hour drive from Gallagher’s home near Aspen and even further from Boebert’s home in Silt, Colorado.

Sam Little didn’t look like a serial killer at first glance — let alone like America’s most prolific serial killer, guilty of 93 murders over three decades.

A frail, charming, twinkly-eyed 78-year-old with a heart condition, diabetes and an amputated toe, he trundled into the visitors’ room of California State Prison in his wheelchair.

His first words to his new visitor Jillian Lauren were: ‘You! You, my angel come to visit me from Heaven. God knew I was lonely and he sent me you.’ Thus began the weirdest, creepiest two years any investigative journalist and novelist could expect in their working life.

After getting away with murder for far too long, Little had at last been convicted and given four life sentences without possibility of parole, later raised to six.

From her first visit in 2018, Jillian would visit him every weekend. Over two years, as she gently flattered him, plied him with sweets and fizzy drinks and put him at his ease, he would describe, in mouthwatering (to him) detail, 86 of the murders he had committed, often doing drawings of the women he’d killed.

Lauren had not set out to be a conduit for the detailed confessions of America’s most prolific killer.

She was just trying to write a novel and, in the course of her research, happened to meet a cold-case detective who mentioned that she’d once caught a serial killer called Sam Little, and that there might be other victims of his out there who’d never been identified.

Lauren, who admits being a true-crime obsessive, was intrigued, and longed to meet Little and get him to talk. 

After her first few visits, during which he prattled on about how much he enjoyed boxing and drawing, and asked her to sing songs to him and make kissy noises, she thought: ‘If I can’t make a dent in this bull****, it’s not worth the mileage.’

But then, very gradually, beginning with a vivid description of his first strangling of a woman in Miami in 1969, he began an incantation of his murders. As she writes: ‘He imagined himself as some kind of angel of mercy, divinely commissioned to euthanise.’

His trademark, across many U.S. states, had been breaking the necks of his victims (mainly prostitutes) during the sexual intercourse which they had voluntarily embarked on in his car. 

‘They died in sexual pleasure, not hate, you understand,’ he explained to Lauren. ‘I’m not like these, what do you call it? Homicidal sexual maniacs.’

No you’re not, I thought, as I read these self-justifying ravings of a psychopath. You’re far worse. 

You were luring these already marginalised women to their deaths and you were clever because you knew how to pick the suitable ones. 

‘If there was one thing he had mastered,’ Lauren writes, ‘it was becoming the black man no one saw, finding the black woman no one would miss.’

The America of the 1970s, 80s and 90s was one where (as Leila Mae McClain, one of the few women who managed to escape from his murderous clutches, said years later in court): ‘They don’t care nothing about a black prostitute in Pascagoula, Mississippi. No, Ma’am.’

When Leila, half-naked, bruised and utterly distraught, arrived at the nearest hospital hardly able to speak after the near-strangulation, no one asked her how it had happened and she didn’t think it worth telling them.

‘And how did it feel to kill women?’ Lauren asked Little. ‘Oooeee, it felt like Heaven,’ he replied. ‘It felt like being in bed with Marilyn Monroe. It felt like being in love.’

This is stomach-churning stuff. He told her he loved that moment when the terrified women looked him in the eye and realised they had underestimated him.

This was about power and ownership as well as sexual gratification. Little believed he ‘owned the souls of every single one of his ‘babies’.’ 

In her effort to understand his mindset, Lauren spoke to a psychologist, who added the theory of ‘everyday sadism’ to the usual triad of empathy-less evil: antisocial personality disorder, Machiavellianism and narcissistic personality disorder.

It’s shocking how little interest the police took in the disappearance of those women. Just once, at the start of his murderous decades, Little bothered to bury a body. But he found it too hard work, so from then on, he just dumped the bodies under a bit of scrub on the side of a freeway, or in a rubbish skip, knowing no one would bother to follow up the crime.

Lauren has a lurid imagination. With her dark novelistic instincts, switching back and forth in time, she gives us re-enactments of the run-ups to some of the murders, sometimes from the victim’s point of view, sometimes from Little’s revoltingly sexualised one.

She writes in film-noir, salacious American prose, so you feel you’re in the seamy backstreets in the Rust Belt, about to get into Little’s car. ‘He ran his tongue over the scar on his lower lip as his raggedy-ass Cadillac slid through puddles of streetlight. 

Through the glare on the windshield, he stalked fresh meat.’ Not allowed to take a writing implement into the prison, Lauren drove away after her chats with Little and sometimes stopped the car and screamed. Then she rushed into a diner and wrote up what he’d told her.

She met the no-nonsense Texas ranger James Holland, who had helped to get the final case together that would convict Little at last, together with three living victims and a pattern-of-behaviour match to strengthen his case.

He HAD also managed to get Little to confess the basic facts, using the accepted method of minimalising the seriousness of his crimes through fake sympathy, normalisation and possible moral justifications.

Holland got Little spot-on when he said to him: ‘Man, secrets are cool. But they’re only really cool when you get to tell someone.’ 

And with nothing to lose in the last two years of his life, Little did tell someone — and that person was Lauren, and having started he couldn’t stop. 

At one point, with Little on the phone directing her, she retraced his steps to the exact spot in Long Beach, Los Angeles, where he’d dumped a body in 1991.

Then she found the contemporaneous news reports of a missing woman in that area. With this information, the police matched the location to the unsolved murder of a prostitute called Alice Duvall.

So Lauren turned detective. She found Alice’s sister and told her what had happened.

The bond of friendship Little felt he’d built up with Lauren was so strong, he named her his next of kin. He died in 2020 and she keeps his ashes in her garage.

On her already tattoo-crowded skin, she has added new chest inkings of flying swallows, in memory of the victims whose dying moments she elicited from this highly companionable, self-justifying embodiment of evil.

When Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert were elected to Congress in November 2020, they were instantly tied together. 

‘QAnon goes to Washington,’ announced Roll Call, the longtime chronicler of Capitol Hill, connecting Greene and Boebert to the pro-Trump conspiracy theory, which they have since distanced themselves from. 

Greene and Boebert were also compared to each other because of their brash temperament, relative youth compared to most members of Congress and ability to rile up a MAGA crowd. 

But Greene doing just that – at the rally of a known white nationalist – and Boebert expressing displeasure, produced the first media reports that the MAGA darlings weren’t in lockstep together. 

That tiff produced a fight at a House Freedom Caucus meeting near Capitol Hill in March 2022. Cut to a bathroom shouting-fest this January and then this week’s animosity on the House floor, where Greene called Boebert a ‘little b****.’ 

So how did two of the MAGA movement’s biggest stars become arch-enemies?

It was Politico that first reported in April 2022 that the 36-year-old Boebert ‘detests being tied to her Georgia colleague.’ 

The story detailed how the two had gotten into it at a House Freedom Caucus board of directors meeting in March 2022 over Greene, 49, appearing at an event in Florida organized by white nationalist Nick Fuentes, who gained additional notoriety when he dined at Mar-a-Lago days before Thanksgiving with former President Donald Trump and anti-Semitic rapper Kanye West. 

Most of MAGAWorld had been gathered in Florida to participate in the Orlando-based Conservative Political Action Conference, but only Greene and Rep. Paul Gosar went to the sideshow white supremacist event organized by Fuentes. 

Sources told Politico that Greene’s and Boebert’s argument got so heated that people in the room feared it might turn physical. 

Greene admitted in an interview with Semafor this week that her row with Boebert stretched back ‘since the last Congress.’ 

The Ukraine war also distanced the two congresswoman, with Boebert wanting the U.S. to give military assistance to Ukraine, and Greene expressing that ‘America First’ meant not giving Ukraine U.S. taxpayer dollars, The Daily Beast said. 

The divide became much more prominent at the start of the current Congress when the two women took different sides in the speakership vote debacle.

Greene sided with now House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, while Boebert was among the ‘never Kevins’ who forced the speakership vote to go 15 rounds. 

Boebert finally relented and changed her vote to ‘present’ on the 14th vote.

Prior to that, the two women had a fight in the bathroom. 

Sources told The Daily Beast that ‘Greene questioned Boebert’s loyalty to McCarthy, and after a few words were exchanged, Boebert stormed out.’ 

‘You were OK taking millions of dollars from McCarthy but you refuse to vote for him for Speaker, Lauren?’ Greene reportedly said, catching Boebert off guard by coming out of a stall in the women’s bathroom off the Speaker’s Lobby. 

Boebert responded to Greene, ‘don’t be ugly,’ a source said, and then added that she ‘ran out like a little schoolgirl.’ 

Six months later, their arguments have spilled out onto the floor. 

During votes Wednesday, Boebert can be seen approaching the dais, walking past Greene and then hightailing it back to her where the two women were captured by C-SPAN speaking animatedly.  

The lawmaker chairing the session can be heard banging the gavel and saying, ‘Take your conversations off the floor,’ as a round of voting concluded. 

By dinnertime Wednesday, The Daily Beast had reported what was said. 

Greene had alleged that Boebert had copied her articles of impeachment, instead of just supporting her bill. 

‘I’ve doneated to you, I’ve defended you. But you’ve been nothing but a litte b***h to me,’ Greene told Boebert, sources said. ‘And you copied my articles of impeachment after I asked you to cosponsor them.’ 

One GOP lawmaker in earshot told The Beast: ‘I heard Marjorie call Boebert a b***h right to her face.’ 

And Greene admitted to it on-the-record. 

‘She has genuinely been a nasty little b***h to me,’ the Georgia congresswoman told Semafor.   

Greene said that Boebert had come over to her to confront her about telling reporters she believed the Colorado congresswoman was playing copycat.

‘I was sitting down, and so I stood up and said, “I’m happy to clarify my public statements to your face,”‘ Greene told Semafor. ‘I told her exactly what I think about her.’  

She said Boebert’s solo impeachment effort was ‘purely for fundraising.’ 

‘It’s throwing out red meat so that people will donate to her campaign because she’s coming up on the end of the month, and she’s trying to produce good fundraising numbers,’ Greene said. 

Boebert almost lost her race to Democrat Adam Frisch in November. Frisch is already running against her again.  

Greene also said that at one point during the fight Boebert accused the Georgia congresswoman of spitting on her lip. 

Greene said at another point Boebert tried to re-engage, and Greene told her to be quiet.

‘I said, “you need to shut up because the only person that’s recognized to speak right now is [Rep. Anna Paulina] Luna,”‘ Greene noted. 

The video captures Greene and Boebert going at it, until Luna starts to speak. 

Greene also gave an ‘absolutely not’ to Semafor when asked if there could be a reconciliation. 

Boebert was asked about the feud by Fox News Channel’s Sean Hannity Thursday night and pushed that it wasn’t as bad as it seems. 

‘Sean, I did not put my life on pause and leave my four boys and my now grandson to come here and just get in spats with people,’ Boebert said. ‘I came here to legislate and to be effective for Coloradans, Coloradans who are suffering from the Democrats’ policy. Marjorie is not my enemy. Joe Biden’s policy, the Democrats, that is my enemy that I am combating right now.’ 

Lauren Harries’ mother Katy has given an update on her hospitalised daughter after she underwent emergency brain surgery.

The former Celebrity Big Brother star, 45, was admitted to hospital last month after suffering horrific headaches and blackouts, with the cause of her troubles unknown.

This month she told fans she was on the mend but admitted to her fans she had nearly died.

On Saturday, Lauren’s mother took to her Twitter page to give fans an update, assuring her followers her daughter would be home soon.

She wrote: ‘Lauren is having physiotherapy to get her strength back after the operation. She is still in hospital but hopefully she will be home soon. 

‘It has been such a stressful time but she knows her family are always with her. We all love her so much, mother and daughter love is so strong!’

Lauren was admitted to hospital last month before having her emergency brain surgery.

Earlier this month, she took to her social media pages to tell fans he had nearly died as a result of her illness. 

The TV personality took to her Instagram stories to tell her followers: ‘Hello my stars. Well I’m still in hospital. 

‘Nearly dying makes you appreciate every moment. So enjoy the sunshine and know that I love you. Light, love and peace.’ 

She then shared a picture of one of her self-portraits which she sells on her website and a couple of the get well soon cards she has received. 

The reassuring post came a day after Lauren’s mother Katy issued a plea for help over Lauren’s ‘incredibly scary’ blackouts and headaches.

Lauren was first admitted into hospital for the procedure on April 14, with the cause unknown. 

Katy has been giving updates on her daughter’s condition, and has now asked for help as the NHS struggle to find answers after saving her life. 

Posting an update to Lauren’s Twitter, her mum wrote: ‘Please help: Lauren has had a number of blackouts after which the right side of her face droops.

‘This is incredibly scary for Lauren and us. She also has a consistent headache. Drs haven’t been able to explain what is causing these.’

Katy continued: ‘Have you or someone you know been through this? Any ideas or help you could give will be so helpful.

‘The NHS saved Lauren but they can’t find any answers for this and it is so scary when it happens.

‘It happened again yesterday. Please help find out what’s causing these!’ 

Last month, Katy shared that Lauren was rushed to intensive care after catching infections before being moved back to neurology.

In the update, shared to Lauren’s official Twitter account at the time, Katy said Lauren was ‘awake and talking’ and urged people to ‘pray for her’.

She shared: ‘Lauren was moved to ICU as she caught Covid as well as 2 infections causing her breathing issues.

‘She is awake and talking again back in Neurology. I want to say thank you again to all the amazing staff at Heath Hospital. She still has a way to go but she is strong. Pray for her.’

Lauren found fame as a precocious 12-year-old antiques expert called James, who appeared on the Antiques Roadshow and Wogan, before undergoing gender reassignment surgery in 2003.

The latest health update comes a week after Katy told fans that Lauren had been moved back to recovery, where she was ‘under close watch’. 

Katy had earlier shared that Lauren ‘would have died’ had she not had the surgery and explained how doctors had to perform Lauren’s ‘worst nightmare’ by shaving her hair off.

Laying in hospital with an art book, the TV star still managed to flash a smile for the picture while bandaged up.

Many fans rallied to offer their words of support to Lauren, as they wished her a speedy recovery in the replies.
