Taylor Swift‘s The Eras Tour concert film will premiere across the UK and Europe next month following its success in America.

Following record-breaking demand for screenings of the fly on the wall film, ODEON Cinemas group revealed that the movie will also be screened in Europe.

Tickets are now live in the UK, Ireland, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Spain, Italy, Germany and Portugal and the release is slated for October 13.

In a nod to Taylor Swift’s 1989 album and her favourite number, 13, tickets in the UK and Ireland will be priced at £19.89 for adults and £13.13 for children.

The first incredible screening kicks off at 6pm on 13 October the concert film will play multiple showtimes at cinemas on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays to meet the anticipated demand.

The history-making concert was a phenomenon during the first leg of its US run, and the UK and European leg of the tour is due to kick off on 9 May 2024 in Paris and wrap up on 17 August 2024 in London. 

Fans across the UK and Europe will now be able to see the incredible tour experience on the big screen at the same time as fans in the US, Canada and Mexico, before the tour itself reaches the continent.

The ticket release in the U.S, Canada and Mexico set a new record at ODEON’s parent company AMC as it made $26 million in ticket-sales revenue.

ODEON are expecting similarly high demand for this cinematic experience.

The tour, in which Taylor runs through hits from her 17-year career, is on track to make a projected gross of $2.2 billion in North American ticket sales alone,’ TIME previously reported.

According to TIME, industry analysts said that the performer’s lucrative tour should surpass $1 billion in revenue by March of 2024, when she is slated to be overseas.

The numbers would make it the most-profitable tour ever, surpassing the $939m Elton John made on his The Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, according to the outlet.

Taylor’s career continues to soar, but in her private life she is reportedly been hanging out with Kansas City tight end, Travis Kelce.

They have apparently  been spending time together under the radar for months before they were spotted together in public for the first time on Sunday.

The pop superstar supported the sports start as his team beat the Chicago Bears, and afterward the enjoyed an ‘affectionate’ dinner together, but that was reportedly just their most high-profile get-together so far.

Sources with direct knowledge of the couple claimed to TMZ on Monday that the two have hung out together ‘several times’ over the past few months.

It’s not clear exactly when the two began seeing each other in person, but Travis had revealed on his New Heights podcast in July that he had hoped to introduce himself to Taylor when he attended one of her Eras Tour stops.

‘I wanted to give Taylor Swift [a bracelet] with my number on it,’ the tight end shared, but he learned that the singer’s devotion to putting on the best performance possible made it impossible to chat with her.

‘I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings, so I was a little butt-hurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her,’ he said.

Taylor amped up the budding courtship at Sunday’s game when she arrived alone — aside from her usual bodyguards — to cheer on Travis from a box.

However, the sources explained to the outlet that the Lavender Haze singer’s earlier meetings with the NFL star were in a ‘very private setting’ so as to not attract attention.

It appears that she’s moving toward a more open relationship with Travis now, though the sources also stressed that the two are not ‘officially’ dating, even though things are clearly heating up between them.

Another sign that Taylor the Kansas City Chiefs star are growing closer was that she met his parents at Sunday’s game.

The hitmaker could be seen cheering on Travis while standing next to his mother Donna, and Travis’ father Ed was also in attendance.

Meeting parents for the first time is often stressful, but the sources shared that the first meeting went ‘very well,’ and Taylor seems to have particularly won over Donna, who called her a ‘lovely person.’

Although she has now met Travis’ parents, Taylor has yet to meet his brother Jason Kelce, who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles and co-hosts the New Heights podcast with his sibling.

Although Taylor and Travis appeared to keep the PDA to a minimum while heading to the Prime Social Rooftop in Kansas City after the game on Sunday, eyewitnesses spotted them holding hands once they were inside the restaurant.

The PDA escalated when Taylor reportedly sat on the football players lap at one point.

The dinner was only somewhat private, as Travis’ family, including his mother Donna, also showed up, and some of his teammates dropped by as well.

An eyewitness previously told Entertainment Tonight that it was Travis who had bought out the restaurant for the afterparty.

‘Taylor arrived, wearing a denim dress, and was seen snacking, having some cocktails and dancing alongside Travis,’ they said.

Another diner told ET that restaurant staff told them there would be a ‘hard close’ at 8 p.m., and the wait staff handed out to-go boxes ahead of the deadline while letting them know that they would need to leave the premises before that time.

However, they were offered free drinks at the restaurant’s sister venue to cut down on the inconvenience.

Although some of the patrons apparently asked if the closure was related to Travis and Taylor, the staff reportedly were stiff-lipped.

After a week of underwhelming red carpet appearances there was an overwhelming sense of relief about Monday’s premiere, a testament to the King Of Rock N’ Roll – Mr. Elvis Aaron Presley. 

Much like the main himself, the first official screening of Priscilla defied recent Venice Film Festival convention by attracting an improved guest list, with Bella Thorne, Sofia Coppola and Priscilla Presley among the early arrivals at the floating city’s historic Lido. 

The film has landed a SAG-AFTRA Interim agreement, according to Deadline, as it was filmed in Canada, allowing it’s stars Cailee Spaeny and Jacob Elordi, who play Elvis and Priscilla respectively, to attend the festival.

Their appearance followed a week of comparative inactivity at the annual event, widely vetoed  by many of the Hollywood elite as they stand in solidarity with ongoing SAG-AFTRA strikes. 

Leading the way, Bella, 25, ensured she caught the eye in a sweeping ivory gown with an off-the-shoulder detail as she greeted onlookers outside the venue.

Midnight blue heels gave the look a an extra splash of colour, while a gold choker and an accompanying assortment of costume jewellery rounded things off. 

Meanwhile Priscilla, 78 – making her first red carpet appearance since the death of daughter Lisa-Marie in January – caught the eye in a black satin co-ord with distinctive sheer sleeves.

She rounded off the look with conventional black heels, while an understated black handbag appeared to be her only notable accessory. 

Joining the pair, Sofia, 52, who directed the new film, looked appropriately glamorous in a black silk evening gown with sheer shoulder panels. 

The daughter of Academy Award winning filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola ensured her dress stood out by opting for limited accessories ahead of Monday’s screening. 

But all eyes were on American actress Cailee who plays the title role in the much anticipated biopic.

The 25-year-old dazzled in a white gown that boasted a plunging neckline and beaded pearl embellishment. 

Meanwhile Jacob who plays the king of rock and roll, rocked a double breasted suit and stylish facial hair. 

Earlier that day the real life Priscilla insisted that she ‘never had sex’ with her late ex-husband Elvis Presley when she was 14 as she attended the photocall and press conference for the new film. 

The highly-anticipated biopic tells the story of a teenage Priscilla and her romance with the late King of Rock N Roll Elvis Presley. played here by Jacob. 

It is directed by Sofia Coppola, based on Priscilla’s 1985 memoir Elvis And Me, and will premiere on Monday evening on the Lido.

Speaking from the audience at the press conference panel for the film, Priscilla held back tears as she opened up about her late husband and gushed about the movie.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, she admitted: ‘It’s very difficult to watch a film about you and about your life and about your love. 

‘But Sofia did an amazing job. She did her homework. And I really put everything out for her that I could.’

Priscilla spoke about the fact that she met Elvis when she was just 14 years old, confessing it was ‘very difficult for my parents to understand that Elvis would be so interested in me and why.’

However, she defended the Jailhouse Rock singer, denying that the couple had sex and insisting she was ‘older in life than in years’.

She said: ‘Elvis would pour his heart out to me. His hopes, his fears, his loss of his mother. And I was the person who really sat there to listen and to comfort him. That was really our connection. 

‘Even though I was 14, I was older in life than in years. And that was the attraction. People think “oh, it was sex, it was this.” Not at all. I never had sex with him. 

‘He was very kind, very soft, very loving. But he also respected the fact I was only 14 years old. We were more in mind and thought and that was our relationship.’

Priscilla has previously claimed that Elvis insisted on waiting until they were married to have sex and said in Elvis And Me that she was a virgin until their wedding night.

The business woman looked the picture of sophistication in a pair of black trousers embroidered with sequins.

She teamed the sparkly bottoms with a white silk shirt that was adorned with tiny diamonds.

Priscilla boosted her height with a pair of chunky black shoes and toted a floral handbag decorated with intricate beading.

Her fiery red tresses were styled down and straight and she hid her eyes behind a pair of black oversized sunglasses.

Priscilla posed alongside Sofia and the movie’s stars Jacob Elordi and Cailee Spaeny, who were allowed to walk the red carpet despite the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike.

Sofia looked effortlessly stylish in a black button-up shirt and a matching pair of trousers secured with a coordinating belt.

Jacob cut a suave figure in a grey blazer and a pair of matching flared trousers over a plain black shirt left partially unbuttoned.

He added a pair of shiny black dress shoes and sported facial hair while shielding his eyes behind orange tinted sunglasses.

Cailee glowed in a white off-the-shoulder dress with flouncy sleeves and decorated with a green leaf pattern. 

She added a pink rose on the front of her dress and toted a bright green clutch, while elevating her height in pale pink high heels.

Venice was filled with stars on Monday, with appearances by Maggie Gyllenhaal and Sadie Sink as well.

Maggie looked in high spirits in a crisp whit shirt and a pair of black trouser with matching ballet flats.

She added a white MiuMiu handbag with a gem encrusted strap and a pair of sophisticated black sunglasses.

Stranger Things star Sadie cut a laidback figure in a pair of oversized blue jeans and graphic white T-shirt.

She attempted to keep a low cover as she bundled up in a black blazer and hid behind a pair of shades.

She carried a white tote bag over one shoulder and added black loafers while her red locks were in loose waves.

Ever Anderson looked thrilled as she beamed while she was whisked across the canals in a water taxi.

The daughter of actress Milla Jovovich and director Paul W. S. Anderson, 15, looked stylish in a pair of blue jeans.

She added a simple black and white checked T-shirt and toted a beige MiuMiu handbag.

Ever kept things casual by opting for a pair of comfortable black trainers and added a pair of black sunglasses.

Michelle Rodriguez also made a smooth arrival on a water taxi after being given a helping hand into the boat.

She looked fashion forward in a cream tank top underneath a white open shirt and matching trousers.

The actress added a gold pendant necklace and swept her raven tresses up in a messy ponytail.

Ava DuVernay looked radiant in a black fitted midi dress, with a pair of matching high-heels and a contrasting white handbag. 

Last year, the biggest story at the Venice Film Festival was the blink-and-you-miss-it visit by actress Florence Pugh, and the beef with director Olivia Wilde which lay behind it.

And this year, the biggest star attending is going to ‘pull a Pugh’ by attending Venice so briefly that he won’t even stay the night.

Two-time Oscar nominee Adam Driver, 39, has agreed to show up to promote the movie Ferrari, in which he stars.

However there is such nervousness about being seen to ‘break’ the actors and writers strikes that – even though the film has earned an exemption – he won’t be hanging around.

Driver will be flying from Paris to Venice on a private jet in the morning of Thursday 31st, going up the red carpet in the late afternoon, and flying back again to the Hotel Bristol in Paris that same day.

It’s not yet clear whether he will do any promotional interviews or a press conference before the red carpet. Sources say that he is thinking of making some kind of strike-supporting speech at some point, but details are scarce.

Sources also say that Driver is planning to wear a t-shirt in support of the strikes under his tuxedo.

Co-star Penelope Cruz is now thinking hard about her own outfit options as a result. She is a long-term ambassador of the fashion brand Chanel. 

Nobody in Hollywood wants to be seen doing the wrong thing by the strikers and the whole film and TV industry has ground to a complete stop. 

The writers union, the WGA, went on strike on May 2nd, and were followed by SAG-AFTRA, the actors union, on July 14th.

Ferrari actors (and writers) can attend with out breaking the strikes as the film has been given an exemption because it was made by an independent, Neon, not a studio.

The stars of the film Priscilla, about Priscilla Presley’s life, can also attend without breaking the strike as it was made in Canada.

Earlier this week it was confirmed that Priscilla has a SAG-AFTRA interim agreement which would allow cast including Jacob Elordi – who plays Elvis – to come. It’s not clear whether he will though.

Priscilla Presley, on whose 1985 memoir it is based, is expected to attend. She is an actress, herself, having appeared in Dallas and the Naked Gun films.

Most other stars have no option but to stay away. Bradley Cooper, who wrote, produced stars in and directed Maestro, about the conductor and composer Leonard Bernstein, will not be in Venice to see possibly the defining film of his career premiere. It is by Netflix, who are a struck company.

A festival spokesman confirmed last month that he would not attend in solidarity with the strike by the actors union SAG-AFTRA.

The film Challengers, a tennis and three-somes drama starring Zendaya and Josh O’Connor, of The Crown, was going to open the festival but that dropped after the actor’s came on strike in July.

The prestige film Poor Things, an adaptation of a Frankenstein-esque gothic tale starring Emma Stone, will premiere at the festival but star Emma Stone and the rest of the cast will not be there.

Ferrari is a film by renowned director Michael Man and examines three months in the life of Enzo Ferrari, the founder of the car company. He has money trouble, is grieving his son who died, and has a child with his mistress – which is discovered by his wife.

Last year Florence Pugh skipped the press conference and photo call before the premiere of Don’t Worry Darling, in which she starred alongside Harry Styles. It was reported that she and director Olivia Wilde had fallen out during the making of the film, after Styles and Wilde started a love affair.

Pugh was friends with Wilde’s estranged partner Jason Sudeikis via her former relationship with actor Zach Braff. In addition she felt that the marketing of the show, and the focus on her explicit love scenes with Styles, was exploitative and may have blamed director Wilde for it.

She said in a magazine interview: ‘When it’s reduced to your sex scenes, or to watch the most famous man in the world go down on someone, it’s not why we do it. It’s not why I’m in this industry.

‘Obviously, the nature of hiring the most famous pop star in the world, you’re going to have conversations like that. That’s just not what I’m going to be discussing because [this movie is] bigger and better than that. And the people who made it are bigger and better than that.’

On the red carpet she and Wilde steered completely clear of each other, arriving at different times and not exchanging any pleasantries. Pugh left directly after the film was screened and did not attend a cast dinner or party. She was at the time making the film Dune 2 in Budapest.

Ever wondered what it’s like to travel in Eurostar‘s swankiest class – business premier?

Two travel experts from The Points Guy lift the veil, and reveal whether it’s worth paying the extra, which can be over £130 more than standard class.

The pair film their experiences in business premier class and standard on a trip from London to Paris. Read on for more, from barely noticeable recline functions and food that ‘looks like a bucket of sick’ to swanky lounges and free onboard Champagne.

BUSINESS PREMIER 

Points Guy Editor Nicky Kelvin put business premier to the test, paying £325 for his ticket from St Pancras International to Gare du Nord.

He enjoyed a speedy security process, lounging around in the business premier lounge before boarding and was served Champagne at his seat.

He told MailOnline Travel: ‘One of the biggest wins of business premier departing from London is being able to dodge the security queues at the station. I had access to a priority security lane, which had no queue whatsoever.

The lounge, meanwhile, ‘is a relaxing place to hang out before boarding the train and such a high-end lounge is rare in train travel’.

Nicky continued: ‘On board, the seat is comfortable with plenty of legroom and the food and beverage service is of a high quality – plentiful, fresh and very tasty.’

Any downsides?

Nicky said: ‘While business premier passengers benefit from a queue jump at security, there is no such benefit at passport control, where the queues were rather long, and there is no priority when it comes to actually boarding the train, although it wouldn’t make a huge amount of difference as boarding is relatively relaxed.

‘Also, the seat does not recline much and may become uncomfortable on longer journeys, such as to Amsterdam.

‘And the single seats have airline-style fold-down tray tables, unlike some other first-class train seats, which are a little roomier with a fixed solid table. The pair and quad seats seemed to benefit from proper tables and would be my choice next time.’

STANDARD CLASS 

Putting standard class to the test was Liam Spencer, who paid £195 for his ticket.

He listed several plus points.

He said: ‘I was impressed with the diverse range of food and drink choices available in the onboard cafe. The menu featured a wide selection, from sandwiches and hot meals to fresh juices and a solid choice of alcoholic beverages.’

He opted for a coconut dhal curry, which he says ‘looks like a bucket of sick… but tastes better than it looks’, and a ‘refreshing’ gin & tonic – ‘a delightful treat in standard class’.

He continued: ‘My cabin offered a quiet, clean, spacious environment. I was fortunate to have a four-person table to myself, a rare luxury that gave me plenty of room for stretching out, using my laptop, and enjoying a peaceful journey. While this was certainly a stroke of luck, even with seat neighbours I don’t think I would have been short of space.’

Another upside to his trip was the check-in, security, and boarding process, which he described as ‘straightforward, unfussy, and stress-free’.

He added: ‘In contrast to the potential chaos at airports, international train travel offers a far calmer experience prior to reaching your seat.’

Any downsides?

Liam said: ‘It’s a shame that Eurostar doesn’t offer a service for ordering food and drinks directly to your seat. This option is available on various other train providers, including LNER.

‘And while the Wi-Fi was free, it was practically unusable due to how frequently it dropped out.’

The seat, too, came in for some criticism, with Liam declaring it ‘firm and inflexible’, with a recline button that was ‘essentially futile’. He added: ‘It barely shifted back more than a few millimetres when pushed down.’

TikTok sellers are trying exploit the popular Barbie film to sell illegal tanning nasal sprays that have been linked to skin cancer, kidney disease and erectile problems, it has emerged.

The sprays contain the banned chemical melanotan II which when snorted or injected tricks the body intro producing the pigment that darkens skins.

The social media rogues are selling the unregulated products in 20mg bottles that feature Barbie-inspired designs for up to £25 each, which they allege is a ‘special offer’ or ‘limited-time deal’.

Despite the fact that the sprays are illegal, the products are able to be ordered online without hassle and arrive by next-day delivery, The Mirror reported.

The push to sell the tanning sprays comes as melanoma cases have hit an all-time high this year. Experts believe cases will likely soar by 50 per cent over the next two decades.

A journalist at the Mirror ordered bottles of the illegal tanning sprays from three TikTok sellers – whose accounts have since been suspended by the platform.

The newspaper alleged the bottles arrived in sparkly packaging and featured pictures of Barbie dolls, as well as the logo from the hit film starring Margot Robbie.

The products were shipped ‘next-day delivery’ with ‘no questions asked’. One even included complimentary sweets. 

Gillian Nuttall, of Melanoma UK, has now spoked out against the products, alleging that the sellers are an example of ‘everything that is bad about social media’.

Ms Nuttal said: ‘TikTok is mainly used by kids, so for a business to be selling illegal, untested products to youngsters and using the success of a cinema hit to do so is shameful.’

Consultant dermatologist Dr Emma Wedgeworth also encouraged tanners to avoid the products. She warned that because the sprays are being ‘distributed illegally’ and not monitored by ‘stringent medical regulations’, they pose serious health risks.

The doctor claimed that using the products could ‘overstimulate melanocytes’ and increase the of developing melanoma, especially in individuals with ‘an underlying tendency to skin cancer’.

‘In addition, melanotan II often goes with other risky sun-seeking behaviour such as sunbed usage,’ she added. 

According to the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulation Agency, the selling and advertising of melanotan II products is illegal. The Government watchdog has been actively working to remove them from the marketplace for over 10 years.

The products are not endorsed by Barbie trademark holder Mattel. Nor have Margot Robbie, co-star Ryan Gosling or the film’s producers been linked to the selling of the illegal nasal sprays.

Mealnotan II, which can also come as injections or powders, is banned in some countries, including the UK, US and Australia, because of the serious side effects it can trigger, including kidney damage. 

Under British law, it is illegal to sell the hormone. Anyone caught breaking the rules can face up to two years in jail and an unlimited fine. But it is not illegal to buy the substance.

The sprays have been promoted online long before the release of the Blockbuster hit. Influencers including Geordie Shore stars Bethan Kershaw and Charlotte Crosby have previously promoted the sprays and injections to their millions of followers as a way to fast-track tanning. 

Gyms and salons have also been caught selling it in recent years. 

The small matter of saving the world from potential annihilation appeared to be taking its toll on Wednesday as Tom Cruise promoted his latest blockbuster in South Korea. 

The Hollywood legend is currently working his way through a promotional tour on behalf of Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One – the seventh instalment in the long-running film franchise. 

But he looked ready to hang up the bullet proof vest and retire to bed during a press conference in Seoul, where he was joined by co-stars Hayley Atwell, Simon Pegg, Vanessa Kirby and Pom Klementieff. 

The cast were accompanied by director James McQuarrie as they fielded questions about the forthcoming film, shot on location across England and mainland Europe at the height of the coronavirus pandemic.  

Cruise has used his considerable platform to urge people to head to the cinema this summer to catch films like Barbie, Oppenheimer and his latest Mission: Impossible offering. 

The actor took to Instagram to encourage people to see movies on the big screen despite the glorious weather, amid a challenging time for cinemas.

As well as paying tribute to Indiana Jones legend Harrison Ford as the fifth film hit screens, Cruise said he’s looking forward to Greta Gerwig’s Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling-starring live-action Barbie film and Christopher Nolan’s biographical thriller.

He wrote: This summer is full of amazing movies to see in theaters. These are just a few that we can’t wait to see on the big screen.

‘Congratulations, Harrison Ford, on 40 years of Indiana Jones and creating one of the most iconic characters in cinema history. You have given us countless hours of joy.

‘I love a double feature, and it doesn’t get more explosive (or more pink) than one with Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer and Greta Gerwig’s Barbie.’ 

The Hollywood star was seen in one picture in the post holding his Cineworld cinema ticket.

The cinema chain was hit particularly hard amid the COVID-19 pandemic and was facing closure, but it has been saved from bankruptcy.

Meanwhile, Cruise recently hailed Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One is the perfect entry point into the franchise for newcomers.

The actor starred in the first ‘Mission: Impossible’ movie in 1996, and Tom believes the new film could help to attract new, younger viewers to the franchise.

He told Collider: ‘They could start with this film to see and understand that this is all real, all the action is real, it’s practical. This movie is an epic adventure. It’s so lush, filled with practical action and amazing locations.”

Cruise believes the new film has a “very engrossing story”.

The veteran actor also hailed the movie’s star-studded cast, which includes Hayley Atwell, Rebecca Ferguson and Simon Pegg.

He said: ‘[The movie has] submarines, it has the desert, it has Rome, beautiful locations in Abu Dhabi, Norway, a train that we built, action on the train, and a very engrossing story with a really beautiful cast, an amazing, very charismatic cast.

‘I think when you look at this movie, it really defines what I think about cinema and why because you look at this kind of cast, you look at a brilliant ensemble cast, and the kind of story is very engrossing.’
