Villagers are insisting that a young Polish woman accused of murdering her newborn babies from an incestuous relationship with her father is a victim of his depraved behaviour.

Many suggest that Paulina Gierasik, 20, should be treated compassionately due to her having been ‘groomed’ into having sex with her widowed father Piotr Gierasik.

The pair are being held in custody while prosecutors probe their relationship and the discovery of the remains of three babies in the basement of their isolated home in Czerniki in northern Poland.

But locals have begun to express feelings that cake shop production worker Paulina should be receiving help rather than condemnation.

They are also questioning reported claims that she was in a ‘consensual relationship’ with him for years, saying she must have been pressured into it.

Martyna Lewandowska-Tercjak who works as a waitress in the village of Stara Kiszewa where Paulina worked in cake shop, said: ‘I think she is a victim.

‘I don’t believe she should be in jail. She needs specialist psychiatric help after what her father put her through.

‘She was little more than a child, and he must have put pressure on her to accept such acts as being normal.

‘Her mother had died and she was left under her father’s control. It looks like she felt she had no choice.

‘You will have heard of Stockholm Syndrome. She must have known it was wrong when she gave birth, but her father ruled her life.

‘Everyone is saying in the Polish media that she is guilty of homicide, but she believed in her Dad. It was wrong, but she deserves sympathy.’

Martyna added: ‘My friend saw them out in the store buying perfume together. They would call each other ‘Honey’ and ‘Baby’ and say, ‘I love you’.

‘He was also seen slapping her bottom in the village. That would have just been normal for her having grown up with him.’

Adrienn Kotowicz also defended Paulina in a Facebook post, saying: ‘Must have been manipulated since childhood. Stockholm syndrome, mental disorder, trauma.’

Another woman Agnieszka Kroma added in the same thread: ‘Because maybe she was a victim and bullied?’

Piotr’s alleged relationship with Paulina was only exposed last week after her work colleagues became suspicious that she was covering up her latest pregnancy.

One colleague told social services that Paulina may have secretly given birth after she appeared visibly pregnant, despite trying to hide it by wearing baggy clothes, and then seemed to have lost weight when she returned from ‘holiday’.

The tip-off led to a social worker visiting Paulina and coaxing her into confessing what had happened after persuading her domineering father to leave the room.

Police found the bodies of two babies in the basement on Friday at the run-down home where Paulina lived with her father and 24-year-old mentally disabled brother while a third set of remains was recovered on Saturday.

One baby is said to have been born from Piotr’s rape of an older daughter while the last two came from an alleged consensual relationship with Paulina.

He has now been charged with three counts of murder, one count of incest with Paulina, and the rape of his older daughter.

Paulina was also charged last weekend with one count of incest and two counts of murder of her infants.

Prosecutors have been given permission to hold them in custody for three months, pending an investigation which could lead to them both being jailed for life if convicted.

Other outraged locals have taken to community media groups to describe Paulina as a victim of her abusive father.

Posting on local portal Zawsze Pomorze one commentator said: ‘Paulina should be provided with psychological care and not spend the rest of her life in prison!

‘She is a victim herself! ‘Piotr G. took care of his daughter Paulina (without her mother) since she was five-years-old.

‘She was dependent on him, he always had power over her. This young woman’s Stockholm Syndrome/love for her father made her want to get rid of incriminating evidence – children?

‘Was it her father-mate, her god, who suggested that something needed to be done with them? Why didn’t they use condoms?’

Another posting on the local commune’s Weekend FM website said: ‘Degenerates and killers, the daughter was probably brainwashed by constant rapes (sic) from childhood by a paedophile.

‘What is happening to these people to treat their own daughters like this?’

Yet another writing on the local koscierski.info website said: ‘To blame children who lived in a completely sick world created for them by their psychopathic father is simply sick.

‘After all, these kids don’t know any other world…! Please look at all this from a psychological point of view, and don’t put kids in a box.’

Piotr had 12 children with his late wife Hanna who died suddenly in 2008 at the age of 38, just a few years after the family moved from Gdansk to Czerniki.

MailOnline revealed yesterday how prosecutors missed five potential chances to stop Piotr’s reign of terror before the remains of three babies were found in his home.

He was quizzed by authorities on five separate occasions over the last 12 years about claims that he was having sex with his daughters and abusing his children.

But all the investigations were discontinued due to lack of evidence after he fiercely denied any wrong-doing and his daughters apparently refused to admit what had been happening.

Paulina’s brother Jakub Gierasik appeared to condemn his father when he became the first member of his family to comment on the shocking case.

He suggested that there was ‘no excuse’ for his father’s behaviour while making only a cryptic comment about his sister.

Jakub spoke in comments on his father’s Facebook page as angry people bombarded it with messages condemning his family.

In one post he said: ‘People should stop judging the rest of the family by their looks. This is not a book that you can tell the whole story about by the cover.

‘Those who don’t know how it was, please don’t write nonsense about the rest of the family.’

A woman replied: ‘And how it was? There is no excuse for Him.’, leading Jakub to respond: ‘For him, maybe not… But for an older daughter who is innocent?’

Paulina’s daughter is said to have lived for several days after being born around the end of August.

One of her colleagues is reported to have spotted text messages on her phone which listed her father’s name as ‘Piotr’ rather than ‘Dad’.

A message allegedly asked ‘how he was feeling’, referring to a third party, and the 54-year-old replied: ‘She cries all the time’, which suggested a conversation about a child.

Fakt newspaper reported that Pauina’s daughter was born at least three weeks ago, saying: ‘The little girl lived only a few more days. It is known that she cried a lot… She was murdered and her lifeless body was buried in the basement.’

Prosecutor spokesman Mariusz Duszyski said: ‘The woman is charged with two counts of child murder and a charge of incest.

‘The man was charged with three counts of child murder and two counts of incest.’

Comments defending Paulina emerged after it was revealed that her father posted a Facebook picture of her standing in a kitchen in 2019 with the caption ‘Hot girl to take’.

Meanwhile, villagers in the strongly Catholic community have expressed their worries about the babies being unnamed and unbaptised and where they will be buried.

Local mayor Marian Pick said: ‘The commune will probably take care of the children’s funeral, but arrangements have not been made yet, we suspect it will take some time.

‘The house in Czerniki is located in the parish of Stare Polaszki. The babies will probably be buried there.’

He added that they would probably not be buried next to their long suffering mother.

She stuck to a low-key all-black ensemble and covered up with large black sunglasses while making her way out of the hotel, after her ex Joe publicly lashed out at her.

The sighting also comes after reports that Sophie joined her friend Taylor Swift for a night on the town on Tuesday, when the pair enjoyed ‘martinis and caviar bumps’ at the trendy celeb haunt Temple Bar.

A source told PEOPLE that it ‘cheered [Sophie] up’ and that she enjoyed the normalcy of it all.

‘They were normal. Completely normal. Everyone was all excited, but they were normal,’ an insider recalled, adding: ‘Sophie seemed to be enjoying the night.’

Another continued: ‘Taylor is a great friend — Sophie can talk to her about anything. It cheered Sophie up to spend time with Taylor.’

Joe accused his estranged wife of ‘lying’ in her filing and clarified that their ‘children were not abducted,’ after she petitioned to have them return to the UK.

Sophie continued her all-black theme with a black baseball cap that read ‘Aspen’ in white block letters. Her long blond hair was swept back and peaked out in messy waves rolling down her back.

She covered up with black Wayfarer-style sunglasses and added a splash of color to her otherwise-muted ensemble with a small purple, green and blue handbag with a thick gold chain that she carried tucked under her arm, and she also lightened up the look with white trainers.

Sophie filed documents in US District Court for New York to petition for ‘the return of children to England,’ her home country. 

Jonas had previously filed for divorce from the actress earlier this month. 

The couple, who married in 2019, share daughters Willa and D.J., one.

In documents seen by DailyMail.com, Turner made the claim that Jonas had refused to return the children’s passports, effectively preventing them from traveling back to the UK.

In the filing, she says the exes met on September 17 to discuss a previously planned trip to the UK with her children set for September 20, but Jonas allegedly would not turn over the passports or send the children to the UK on his own.

‘Based on the Father’s express statements that he will not return the children to England and will not return the children’s passports to the Mother, on September 20, 2023, the Mother has submitted her Hague Convention Application for Return to the Central Authority for England & Wales seeking the return of the children to England,’ the filing read. 

She added that the move to the UK was not unexpected, as the couple had allegedly planned to spend an extended amount of time there in the near future.

According to Turner, she and the children expected to accompany Jonas on his US tour with the Jonas Brothers, and then when it wrapped up the entire family had planned to travel to the UK and to live at a rented property near her parents’ home.

She claimed that the move was a prelude to a full-time life in the UK, and that the couple had agreed to move their children there as their oldest Willa prepared to begin attending school. 

The X-Men actress alleged that she and Jonas toured properties from December 2022 until July of this year, when they discovered a ‘beautiful country property’ in Oxfordshire and they ‘both agreed they would purchase the property for the family’s permanent home.’

They allegedly signed a contract for the property in July and planned to finalize the sale in December of this year. 

Last year, Turner and Jonas put their Miami mansion on the market after previously buying it for $11 million.

They sold the property in August at a profit for $15 million, only after they slashed the asking price by $2 million, suggesting they may have been trying to unload it quickly.

In her filing, Turner also disputed Jonas’ claim in his divorce filing that their children had resided in Florida for six months, which would make it easier for a court in that state to decide custody matters.

She appears to allege that a fight on August 15 was a major precipitating event for their separation, and afterward the couple had agreed ‘with some hesitation’ to have the children travel to the US to accompany their father on tour, as Jonas was able to care for them during the day on dates when he was scheduled to perform.

While Jonas was on tour with his brothers, Sophie was engaged filming the new series Joan in the UK, which would have significantly impacted her ability to care for the children during the limited period that she was on set.

Unlike Jonas’ tour, which would presumably allow him some free time when he wasn’t on stage or in rehearsals, Turner would likely have had little free time while working, as film and television productions often keep actors working for long hours each day on tight schedules.

According to TMZ, the musician allegedly realized his marriage was finished after catching Turner ‘saying and/or doing something’ that irked him on their security camera. 

Early reports focused on Jonas’ alleged devotion to their children after parenting them on his own for a short period of time, but critics subsequently defended Turner, pointing out that her work required her husband to share some of the burden for a limited period, and that Jonas should not have been praised for fulfilling his parental obligations.

Patricia Arquette was joined by her daughter Harlow Jane for the premiere of her directorial debut, Gonzo Girl, during the Toronto International Film Festival, held at the Royal Alexandra Theatre on Thursday. 

The Medium star, 55, displayed her trim frame in a chic black leather skirt with a side zipper, a white silk blouse, and a black satin jacket.

The actress – who recently stepped out with sister Rosanna Arquette following her Malibu shopping center car crash – added some height to her look with a pair of chunky gold heels and wore her light blonde tresses in a straight style. 

Meanwhile Harlow, 20, was a vision in a striped multi-color gown with beaded fringe sleeves. Arquette’s daughter – born Harlow Olivia Calliope Jane – also sported a pin in support of the SAG-AFTRA strikes. 

Other stars at the Canadian festival included William Dafoe as well as Camila Morrone, who both star in the film.  

Patricia wore gentle glam for the night, while Harlow opted for black eyeliner and a matte shade of peachy lipstick. 

Harlow’s father is Arquette’s ex-husband, actor Thomas Jane, to whom she was married from 2006 to 2011. 

Harlow has followed in her parents’ footsteps with her acting career, and even starred alongside mom Patricia on Apple TV+ comedy High Desert this year, as a younger version of Patricia’s character.

Harlow previously revealed she initially rebelled against being an actress.

‘I definitely rebelled against it for as long as I could,’ she told People in an interview.

‘And then when I got into high school, I ended up going to this very arts-heavy boarding school, and I took a theater class. And that’s when I decided, “Yeah, I don’t know if I can not do this anymore for the rest of my life.” I can’t live a lie of wanting to be anything else.’

She added, ‘I couldn’t help but secretly love it.’

Leonardo DiCaprio’s ex-girlfriend Camila Morrone, 26, also attended the premiere, and had all eyes on her in a beautiful sleeveless black gown with a beaded bodice.

The actress wore delicate glowing glam for the occasion, and her brunette locks were parted in the middle, gently falling down her shoulders. 

Joining her on the red carpet was Willem Dafoe, 68.

Ever the gentleman the actor escorted Camilla down the red carpet hand-in-hand. 

The actor cut a dapper figure in a fitted black suit, but opted to go without a tie for the occasion.

Actress Bleu Sidel, 28, who is the daughter of Patricia’s sister Rosanna Arquette, looked incredible in an emerald gown with a head scarf.

She paired the mesmerizing ensemble with electric blue pointed-toe heels.

Gonzo Girl is based on the 2015 novel of the same name by Cheryl Della Pietra and will be adapted by Rebecca Thomas and Jessica Caldwell.  

It takes place in 1992 and follows an aspiring writer named Alley Russo (Morrone) who has an exciting new job as assistant to legendary ‘gonzo journalist’ Walker Reade (Dafoe) where she lives on his compound/party house in Aspen. 

The synopsis continues according to Deadline: ‘Under orders to help the famously chaotic Walker settle down to work on his long-promised latest blur of fact and fiction, Alley soon learns the truth: a lifetime of chronic substance abuse has chipped away at Walker’s writing ability, until all he can produce from his drug-drenched brain are pages of word salad.

‘Obliged to help a manic, sodden blowhard get through one relatively uncreative day after another, Alley begins to transform Walker’s rants and raves into publishable prose by running it through the filter of her own mind and her own typewriter, an act of moral support / plagiarism / treachery that keeps Walker’s career alive — for a few more months.’

Arquette will also star on the project as Claudia, the minder and manager for many years, of ‘gonzo journalist’ Reade.

Chloe Lattanzi, the daughter of the late Olivia Newton-John, is taking some time off to focus on her health.

In an Instagram video posted Sunday, Lattanzi, 37, revealed that she had lately been struggling with her mental and physical health.

In particular, she said she had been ‘neglecting’ her ‘mind’ and ‘body’ following her mother’s tragic death just over one year ago at age 73 from a protracted battle with cancer.

In her video, Chloe — who is Olivia’s daughter from her first marriage to Matt Lattanzi — faced the camera with an elegantly made-up face and a striking key lime green tube top.

‘Real talk. In order to take care of others, you must first start with you. This is a universal truth, a universal law,’ she began her caption. 

‘I look forward to coming home to my power. I will see you at the walk!’ she continued, referencing her mother’s Walk for Wellness, which is marking its 10th event to raise funds for the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre.

The organization provides cancer treatments and is involved in research against the disease, but it also focuses on providing holistic wellness support to patients, which can include acupuncture and massages, as well as musical therapy.

The next walk is being held in Melbourne, Australia, on October 8. 

‘I look forward to health and wellness again,’ she continued. ‘We never know what someone’s inner world really looks like. Please take care of you, and your capacity for healing others and being more powerful than you ever could have imagined will follow. Take it easy. Take it slow. Easy does it darlings.’

But in her video, Chloe spoke on more personal terms about the impact her mother’s death had apparently had on her health and well-being.

‘Since my mom’s passing and the year and a half with her going through cancer, I have not been OK,’ she admitted.

She apologized for not returning calls and then said she had been suffering from ‘extreme memory loss’ and had had ‘difficulty getting out of bed.’

‘I’ve stuck to my commitments but I have been neglecting myself,’ she said.

‘One of my mom’s biggest messages was “take care of you,”‘ Chloe continued. ‘If you don’t take care of you, you cannot give your full capacity of love, wisdom, kindness and power to everyone else.’

She added that she planned to ‘disappear’ from the public eye for some time after the walk as she focused on getting well.

‘After the walk I’m going to disappear for about three weeks, just to honor my mind, body and spirit because I’m developing a little bit of health issues in my mind and my body,’ she said.

Chloe concluded her video with a somber apology to those closest to her. 

‘I just wanted to say to anyone who I have been inconsistent with, I’m so sorry. I haven’t been consistent with myself and I haven’t been taking care of myself,’ she said to wrap things up. 

‘So in the spirit of my mother and the spirit of the Wellness Walk, I’m going to take a month to do that so that I can be of complete service to everyone else.’

Lattanzi made it clear just last week that her mother was still on her mind when she wore an Hervé Léger dress on Thursday to the LA premiere of the new film Deltopia.

She previously wore the same item in 2016 when she attended a premiere in LA with Olivia.

The iconic singer and actress died on August 8, 2022, at her home in Santa Ynez, California. Her death was announced on social media by her husband John Easterling.

Olivia fought several brave battles against cancer. After first being diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992, she was successfully treated and went into remission.

However, she later revealed that the cancer returned in 2013, though she once again recovered from it.

Her final bought with the disease began with a 2017 diagnosis of its recurrence. This time, the cancer developed to stage IV — the most advanced — and spread to her bones.

Queen Letizia of Spain couldn’t resist joining in with her team’s celebrations after they won the women’s World Cup final today. 

The glamorous royal, 50, dressed in a scarlet trouser suit (in honour of her team the Rojas – which means red), was filmed jumping for joy with her daughter Infanta Sofía, 16, alongside the triumphant footballer players. 

Prior to kick-off, Letizia, who travelled to Sydney to cheer on the squad, said: ‘It’s a joy and it’s exciting to be here to support the Spanish Football team. They are already champions.’ 

Indeed, after winning the tense match, which ended 1-0 in Spain’s favour, the team were true world champions, and they celebrated in style, dancing on the pitch – with even the Spanish Queen joining in, as she jumped and pumped her fist into the air. 

But while the Spanish team’s efforts (and ultimately victory) were keenly watched by the country’s royals, no member of the British Royal Family went to Australia to cheer on the Lionesses.

Yesterday, Prince William apologised for not attending the World Cup final to cheer on England – as palace sources claim he was concerned about his carbon footprint and the diplomatic ramifications of going to Australia. 

In a video posted on the Prince and Princess of Wales’ social media account ahead of the match, William wished the Lionesses luck alongside his daughter Princess Charlotte, who held a football. 

Conversely, Queen Letizia and her 16-year-old daughter, Infanta Sofia, had travelled to Sydney, ‘to show, once again, the royal household’s support for national football’, as confirmed by the Royal Spanish Football Federation.

The pair sat in the presidential box at the Accor Stadium, but weren’t joined by King Felipe, who was busy with other official duties.

Letizia visited the Spanish team in Madrid before they travelled to the tournament, watching them train and being presented with a personalised jersey.

She ended the visit with ‘a motivational speech that resonated deeply with the players and coaching staff’, the federation said.

The Prince of Wales shared his well wishes in the clip that was released ahead of the game. 

During the video, the royal says: ‘Lionesses, I want to send you a huge good luck for tomorrow. We’re sorry we can’t be there in person but we’re so proud of everything you have achieved and the millions you’ve inspired here and around the world. 

‘So go out there tomorrow and really enjoy yourselves.’ Meanwhile, a beaming Charlotte, adds: ‘Good luck Lionesses!’

The Prince did come under some fire for his decision not to travel to Australia to watch the match in person. 

Kensington Palace sources cited several reasons why he decided to watch the game at home in Anmer Hall, Norfolk, instead. 

One is carbon footprint, particularly because he will travel to the US next month to support his green campaign, Earthshot. 

It was also considered not to be a diplomatically sound move – both on a family and political level. 

William’s father Charles has still not visited Australia as King, a country where he is also monarch, and it was thought a short visit from his son would not be diplomatically astute.

A source added: ‘It was a finely balanced decision.  The Prince of Wales hasn’t visited since 2014 so he would wish his next trip to Australia to be a substantial visit. 

‘He met them [the Lionesses] in St George’s Park before they flew out and he has been supporting them throughout the tournament by sending private good luck messages to the manager and team.’

A teenage girl has revealed how she felt ‘hurt’ and ‘excluded’ when her dad secretly took his new family to Paris without her – sparking an online debate about who was in the wrong in the situation. 

The 16-year-old discovered she had been left out of the holiday when her stepbrother shared a TikTok video from the trip to the French capital with her dad, stepmum and two stepbrothers. 

Taking to Reddit, she wrote: ‘I would have loved to be there but they didn’t even tell me they were going.’

The girl, who was staying with her mother at the time, said she texted her dad ‘immediately’ asking if they were enjoying the trip. In his response, she claimed he ‘tried to play dumb’ by saying that he wished she could be there. 

When the daughter pointed out that he could have taken her too, he explained that ‘it wasn’t possible’ and promised they’d talk about it later, she claimed. 

After their return, she opened up to her father and revealed that she was ‘hurt’ he hadn’t taken her along on the holiday. 

But his response, she claimed, was that ‘their finances are very tight’ and the holiday ‘was a gift from the stepmum’s parents’. She remarked: ‘He reminded me that I shouldn’t act in an entitled way.’ 

The daughter told fellow Redditors that she ‘wasn’t convinced’. She explained that her step-family was ‘very rich’ and thus, she argued, she was being taken for a ‘fool’. 

She said: ‘They could have refused to go without me, paid for me themselves, gone somewhere cheaper, stayed a little less longer, or asked my mum to pitch in – and she would have.

‘Me not being there was exclusionary… I told my dad that I was disappointed in him.’

Later, the step-grandmother came to her bedroom to explain that they had gifted the trip to their grandchildren and ‘couldn’t afford’ to include her.

In her response, the daughter said she told the grandmother: ‘I’m a stranger to you and you don’t care about me.’ Using coarse language, she then ordered her to leave her room.

The daughter remarked: ‘She left and I heard her telling my dad that I was very rude to her, so I’m grounded until further notice.’ 

Writing in July last year, she asked Redditors whether she was acting ‘like an entitled brat’ and was in the wrong. 

Her question sparked a flurry of responses which have since resurfaced in recent reports of the debate.

Many people empathised with the girl and supported her reaction to the trip.

‘DarKMuraudeR’ said: ‘They could have gifted something for the whole family but they didn’t. Your dad didn’t decline and say if his daughter can’t go, he won’t be going.’

‘OddAsk9838’ said she was ‘right to be mad’, saying: ‘The fact your dad did not tell you and did not even bother to try and find a way to make it work shows you what kind of man he is.

‘Please ask to move to your mum’s 100 per cent. He has made his choice, and his family is very comfortable treating you like garbage. Don’t take it.’

‘Reditor’ also encouraged the girl to move in with her mum, commenting: ‘Dad has shown her that he has a new family now. The cold hard truth is that he simply doesn’t care about her.

‘Move to your mother’s permanently. Your father has shown you where his priorities lie, and they are not with you.’

Meanwhile, user ‘These-Coat-3164′ said the worst part was that the daughter found out on social media when the family were already in Paris.

‘Her dad didn’t even have the nerve to tell her about the trip in advance,’ they wrote.

Not all users echoed these sentiments – some were quick to defend the dad.

In a comment that earned more than 900 upvotes, ‘Its_Like_Whatever_OK’ said that the step-grandparents ‘don’t owe her a vacation’ because ‘she isn’t their grandchild’. But the user also quipped that her dad ‘should’ve been upfront’ about the trip.

In a similar vein, ‘SwiftAlliegator’ said the step-grandparents are ‘not really obligated’ to treat the girl as their granddaughter.

They remarked it was the stepmum who ‘made a choice to marry a man with a daughter, but her parents didn’t’.

Focusing more on the teenager’s exchange with her step-grandmother, ‘Quix66′ said: ‘Cursing an adult – the grandmother – is bratty and deserving of punishment.’

Echoing their sentiments, ‘TheLyz’ commented: ‘She could have been a little nicer to the step-grandma, but yeah, I’d be pretty upset too.’

A daughter claimed her cancer-stricken mother was ‘left to die’ after being sent home from an NHS hospital without aftercare. 

Sylva Faye, from Hammersmith, west London, took to TikTok after her mother’s death in November 2022 to share her harrowing experience.

She said her mother died within 11 weeks of being diagnosed with cancer and she was left alone to look after her ‘with absolutely no support from anyone’.

The singer-songwriter claimed her mum was ‘totally healthy’ before her death, aside from suffering from arm pain which was diagnosed by her GP as ‘overuse’ from gardening. 

Sylva said her mother later experienced stomach pain and went to A&E alone for help, adding: ‘I was at work, they missed her number in A&E and left her there for 15 hours.’

When arriving to the hospital, Sylva said that she found her mother on a bench, she cried: ‘She was so sad and small when I found her there, and I realised she’d been overlooked.’

When they were finally seen, Sylva claimed: ‘[They found] a mass on her abdomen, it was like advanced pancreas cancer, it had spread. 

‘She didn’t understand how bad that was, she was hospitalized for a week or so in Charing Cross, but they couldn’t decide which hospital to put her in. 

‘Then they sent us back home with no aftercare, no help just hundreds of medications I was supposed to administer.’

Looking through the box of medicines, Sylva said she found drugs such as Cyclizine, Diazepam and Haloperidol. 

She said: ‘I had to make my own charts. I had hundreds of charts I had to make myself, because they didn’t give me any drugs chart. They gave me a bunch of needles and morphine.’ 

The daughter explained she has ‘no background in nursing’ and said she contacted doctors she knew ‘from school’ and her dad’s friends for help after being ‘left alone’ by the hospital. 

Sylva claimed that ‘nobody came’ to check on her mother and a community pain team didn’t show after she was discharged. 

She said: ‘No one called us, no one kept any of the appointments that they sent us, the phone just didn’t ring and when you rang the hospital, you couldn’t get through to anybody.’

‘They scheduled her chemo so far in advance that they decided there was no point in doing it,’ she added. 

The devoted daughter claimed she called the hospital every day, but said the only time anyone showed was when she ‘threatened’ to give her mum the medication her mother was ‘begging for’ after her mum was making a ‘death rattle’ sound. 

‘Then they showed up and then they had a massive go at me and told me off and made me feel like a criminal in my own house,’ she claimed. 

Sylva said her mother wasn’t even aware of the extent of her illness, and said she only found out that she was going to die when a member of a palliative care team told her. 

She said: ‘She didn’t even know she was palliative because no one had a conversation with her.’  

Sylva claims she now has panic and anxiety attacks and is on the waitlist for therapy, she said: ‘I have slipped through the net for bereavement counselling and I can’t afford therapy.’ 

Since posting her TikTok, she has gained thousands of comments in support of her situation and was encouraged to set up a Go Fund Me. 

Over 150 people have donated to her cause and she is just short of £500 away from her target goal of £3000. 

Explaining why she set up the account, she wrote: ‘The contribution would help me get some private therapy while I wait for the lists I’m on as I need some bereavement support. 

‘It might also help me afford a solicitor and be able to pursue some sort of justice, and help me get on my feet after being knocked off.’

Sylva said that her father, who was separated from her late mother at the time of her death, has also suffered from the stress of the situation. 

She claimed he has had a cardioversion following the stress of the situation and is also on antidepressants. 

‘This is the worst nightmare that anyone could experience for their relatives,’ she added.
