Holly Willoughby has dished out advice about overcoming ‘orgasm anxiety’ in a candid new post on her Wylde Moon blog.

The This Morning star, 42, who started her lifestyle brand two years ago, offered guidance to her followers who may be ‘over-thinkers’ in the bedroom and struggled  to reach that ‘elusive climax’ as she insisted they were ‘not alone’ in their plight.

Going on to address her readers, Holly observed how TV and film is saturated with  sex scenes and people enjoying a ‘fantastic sex life’ before going on to make a rather X-rated comments about ‘sh***ing the Duke from Bridgerton’.

She is of course referring to heartthrob Rege-Jean Page in the Netflix period drama, in which he embarked on several steamy sex scenes with onscreen lover Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor).

Holly wrote: ‘We’re all friends here, so I’m going to get straight to it; do you ever find yourself feeling frustrated, stressed, or anxious because you just can’t seem to reach orgasm? Or maybe you can have a wonderful time when you’re on your own, but with a partner you never quite manage to experience the same feelings? You’re not alone.’

She went on to add of sex on screens: ‘It seems like we’re constantly surrounded by TV shows, film scenes and stories of everybody having a fantastic sex life, doesn’t it?

‘When a show or a film has a scripted sex scene with a straight couple, all it seems to take is a man unzipping his fly for a woman to start to feel herself in the throes of orgasm, which, to be fair, could be a reasonable representation of shagging the Duke from Bridgerton…’

The presenter added that all the ‘gasping gals’ on TV do not to much to ‘reassure’ people who find reaching orgasm a challenge.

Holly then discussed ‘orgasm anxiety’ further, referring to research which states that only 50% of women orgasm, suggesting that it was their apprehension in the bedroom that was holding them back.

She shared: ‘It’s that nagging feeling in the back of your mind that tells you that you’re not doing something right or that you’re broken because you can’t reach orgasm like everyone else seems to. It’s the pressure you put on yourself to perform, the fear of disappointing yourself or your partner, and generally being so distracted during sex that you’ll never end up reaching orgasm anyway… and so the cycle continues.’

She went on to say that there was ‘no such thing as normal orgasms’, before handing over to Love Honey’s sex expert Sarah Mulindwa to share her tips.

It comes after it was revealed that Holly ‘is poised for a bumper new pay deal with ITV’ when she returns to a rejigged This Morning on September 4.

The presenter is currently on her summer break, with Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle currently taking care of hosting duties during her absence.

No holding back: 'We¿re all friends here, so I¿m going to get straight to it; do you ever find yourself feeling frustrated, stressed, or anxious because you just can¿t seem to reach orgasm?'

But it’s understood she’s in line for a £300,000 pay-rise, with her yearly salary – an estimated £700,000 – boosted to £1million when she returns to a rotating stable of presenters.

As exclusively revealed by MailOnline, Welsh presenter Steve Jones is also expected to join the team over the summer as ITV endeavour to move on from the abrupt departure of Holly’s long-term co-host Phillip Schofield.

A source told The Sun On Sunday: ‘Holly is at the heart of the show’s future and success and ITV execs want her to steer a steady ship out of a rocky year. It’ll be a strong start with Alison, kicking off as a dream team.

‘Holly’s pay deal is up for negotiation in a few months so they are putting together a lucrative package that will reflect her added responsibility without Phil, and they are prepared to go up to £1million a year.’

It is believed that Holly will line-up alongside Alison Hammond for her first two shows in September, with hosts including Jones also expected to feature at a later date.

ITV are understood to have spent £250,000 on revamping the beleaguered show, with one new segment giving fashion expert Gok Wan the opportunity to travel the UK for doorstep makeovers.

The source added: ‘They are giving the show a massive push with really positive, fun stories, nothing dark or depressing.

‘Producers will splash the cash on showbiz guests, and exclusive human interest stories. Viewers can expect lots of glitz and glamour. But Holly will definitely be the jewel in their crown.’

With long security lines, potential delays and cramped economy seats, flying isn’t always the most pleasant experience.

And having a toddler along for the ride is one sure fire way to add some extra mayhem to the mix.

Now, one mum has shared her travel secrets to help parents cruise through their next flight – and her tips don’t include leaving the kids at home.

Keeping your little ones entertained while travelling can be a nightmare task, luckily travel expert Colleen Kelly has shared some top tips

Keeping your little ones entertained while travelling can be a nightmare task, luckily travel expert Colleen Kelly has shared some top tips

Colleen Kelly, host of the PBS travel show Family Travel with Colleen Kelly, has taken to TikTok to share these essential travel items.

The TikToker first recommended planning ahead in case your flight is delayed or diverted.

She explained: ‘Number one, don’t think that the flight is going to be non stop, it might get diverted.’

Soothing young children through these disruptions can be a nightmare, especially if you don’t have enough supplies.

So, Colleen advised: ‘Bring extra diapers, extra formula.

‘They’re not easy to find, actually [they’re] almost impossible to find these days,’ she claimed.

‘And of course, breast milk, bring extra of that,’ she added.

However, keeping them fed is a walk in the park compared to making sure they’re well behaved throughout the flight.

Colleen’s tip to keeping kids entertained for so long was to keep ‘little surprises’ wrapped up in your bag which can be taken out to entice them at any point.

Making sure your children are fed and cleaned is the easy part compared to making sure they're well behaved, Colleen suggested bringing 'little surprises' on the next flight

These can be small gifts, toys, games or anything else travel sized that your kids will enjoy.

She said: ‘They’re going to get bored, they’re going to want to walk around.’

‘I always keep some dollar store stuff wrapped up, because it’s always more fun if you have a present.

‘You can also bribe them…they can have the present if they are good for the next hour.’

Colleen’s final tip was to keep some sweet treats at the ready, and Lollipops work well as they last slightly longer than most sweets.

While, she said, Lollipops aren’t the healthiest option, she admitted it would make both yours and the kids’ flight ‘a lot better.’

‘Go home for dinner’: Mike Pence dispenses advice on faith and family as 2024 hopeful teams up with his daughter on forthcoming book

  • Former Vice President Mike Pence releases his second book in November
  • ‘Go Home for Dinner’ is written with daughter Charlotte Pence Bond
  • He is running in third place in the race for the GOP 2024 nomination

When Mike Pence was first elected to Congress he promised his wife that he would never dine alone with another woman or attend a function where alcohol was served if Karen Pence wasn’t present.

And during his time in the U.S. House of Representatives his desk was adorned with a red telephone, a gift from Mrs. Pence and to which only she had the answer.

The details reemerged years later when Pence was vice president, triggering ridicule.

But now Pence, who recently launched his own run for the presidency, is distilling his tips on how to juggle work and family into a book.

‘Go Home for Dinner: Advice on How Faith Makes a Family and Family Makes a Life’ will be published by Simon & Schuster in November, and is co-written by the former vice president’s daughter Charlotte Pence Bond.

‘I hope these lessons and stories from our family encourage you to follow your dreams while keeping your family close,’ said Pence.

‘Strong families are the very heartbeat of America. I believe we can heal our country by putting faith and family first—and it all starts when you go home for dinner.’

That sentiment is at the heart of Pence’s campaign, as he looks to pick up the support of the religious right.

However, Donald Trump’s former righthand man faces an uphill struggle in a contest that is dominated so far by the former president.

Polls of likely Republican primary voters consistently place him a distant third behind Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

A rolling average maintained by the statistics website FiveThirtyEight has him on about 5.5 percent, compared to 53.4 percent for Trump and 21.4 percent for DeSantis.

Pence released his first book, ‘So Help Me God,’ last November. The memoir details his life and time in office, offering a springboard to his campaign launch earlier this month.

This time, his publisher said, he has written a practical guide to balancing the demands of life with ‘the long-term satisfaction that only a commitment to your family can bring.’

‘In this personal account, former Vice President Mike Pence champions one of his most deeply held beliefs: that faith makes a family, and family makes a life,’ it continues.

‘And, through straightforward advice and personal storytelling, he shows readers how to do the same.’
