Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley officially tied the knot on Saturday at Parker’s Garage in Long Beach, New Jersey in front of close family and celebrity friends. 

The lead singer of the Bleachers, 39, and the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood actress, 28, became engaged earlier last year in May after being romantically linked back in August 2021. 

A number of A-listers whisked themselves away to the East Coast to celebrate the nuptials, such as model Cara Delevingne, Lana Del Rey, and Taylor Swift – who notably fled a bar in Long Island on Friday after the street was shut down by hundreds of fans. 

The daughter of actress Andie MacDowell was the epitome of elegance in a white, halter-styled wedding gown with a plunging neckline. 

A veil which stopped near her mid-back was placed on top of her brunette locks that were parted to the side and fell down to nearly brush her shoulders.

Margaret slipped into a pair of fashionable, white flats that were secured with thin straps on top to complete her bridal look. 

Jack was also dressed to impress for the special day and donned a classic, black suit along with a crisp white dress shirt and black tie. 

After the intimate ceremony, the newlyweds as well as the numerous guests, made their way to the lowkey reception. 

Both Qualley and Antonoff were seen sweetly holding hands while crossing a street while their family and friends followed closely behind.

As she approached a building, the Maid actress flashed a cheerful smile as she was quickly joined by one of her close pals to attend the star-studded after party. 

The beauty paused for a second outfit change for the evening and opted for a more comfortable white dress that contained long sleeves and a drop down waist. 

She was seen holding a cheerful grin as she stepped back outside with her pal close behind as she headed to the celebratory bash. 

Before saying ‘I do,’ Jack was also seen heading to the romantic ceremony and gave an excited thumbs up. 

The guitarist and drummer of the band, Fun, was also spotted earlier in the day before stepping into a sleek suit. 

He appeared to be in high spirits as he kept it casual in a white T-shirt and dark navy shorts as he strolled outdoors. 

The musician additionally wore a pair of white, slip on sandals and threw a green and yellow cap on top of his head. Antonoff enjoyed the late summer weather during a short bike ride while a pal walked alongside the star.

Also in attendance at the ceremony and reception was Margaret’s mother and Groundhog Day star, Andie MacDowell, who showed off her chic sense of style in a long, blue dress with green patterns on the fabric.

A thin belt was wrapped around her waist and tied at the front and the actress chose to slip into a pair of strappy sandals.

Andie – who shares Margaret with ex-husband Paul Qualley – slung a silver purse over her shoulder and allowed her voluminous locks to flow down naturally past her shoulders. 

Guest Taylor Swift was also seen arriving to the wedding reception and was dressed to the nines in a light blue dress that was made of a stylish, lace material. 

The corset-styled bodice clung to her stunning frame while the asymmetrical hem of the ensemble flowed down past her knees. The Bad Blood hitmaker also slipped into a pair of open-toed, silver strappy heels. 

The Grammy winner – who has notably collaborated with Antonoff in the past – parted her blonde locks in the middle, allowing her bangs to gently fall onto her forehead. 

The performer opted for a bold, red lipstick and was seen sipping on a glass of wine while attending the glitzy reception. 

Swift accessorized her wedding guest look with a sparkling, rhinestone necklace along with a few bracelets on each of her wrists. 

Earlier on Friday, the singer notably fled a restaurant in Long Beach Island, New Jersey after being the cause of a major road being shut down as her presence at pal Jack Antonoff’s star-studded wedding rehearsal dinner caused quite a commotion.

Hundreds of the 33-year-old hitmaker’s diehard fans – known as Swifties – made their way to the Black Whale corner bar just for a chance to get a glimpse of the music icon.

The megastar arrived at the star-packed event with Channing Tatum and Zoe Kravitz to an uproarious ovation from her passionate fans.

Taylor, Zoe, and Channing were not the only stars at the gathering as Lana Del Rey, who has also often collaborated with Antonoff, was also there in addition to mother-of-the-bride Andie MacDowell.

Police ended up having to arrive outside of the popular Long Beach Island spot to ensure that the massive crowd was behaving themselves. 

Before the festivities began, Swift was seen stepping out of a SUV as she arrived to the wedding venue in New Jersey. The hot sun shone down on the blonde beauty as she strolled through the crowd to enter the building.

Supermodel Cara Delevingne was stunning in what appeared to be a black pantsuit that contained a plunging neckline on the front.

She slipped into a pair of open-toed, black heels and threw on a pair of brown, oval-shaped sunglasses for a stylish flare to the monochromatic look. 

Her short, blonde locks were parted in the middle, and naturally flowed down to nearly brush the tips of her shoulders. Similar to Taylor, the star also opted to glam up with a vibrant, red lipstick. 

The beauty was spotted arriving to the venue and held a conversation with a few friends and was later sharing a friendly embrace after crossing paths with another guest. 

Lana Del Rey was also spotted at the ceremony, and was effortlessly chic wearing a white sundress with a pink pattern on the fabric. The Video Games songstress layered the look with a cropped, white sweater. 

She opted for casual comfort in a pair of sandals that contained thick soles and easily slung a baby blue, Prada purse over the crook of her arm. 

Her long brunette locks were parted in the middle and flowed down past her shoulders in light waves. Lana was seen holding a big smile on her face as she stepped out of a vehicle. 

Other celebrities were in attendance at the nuptials on Saturday, including Hereditary actor, Alex Wolff. He also dressed to impress wearing a classic black suit along with a white dress shirt. 

The star completed the outfit with a black tie and slipped into a pair of sleek dress shoes. 

Actress Black Lively turned heads wearing a strapless, lime green dress as she arrived to the intimate ceremony. 

Earlier on Saturday, before the ceremony began, preparations were in high swing, with a friend or family member carrying garment bags in her hand. 

The nuptials took place at Parker’s Garage in New Jersey which is located near the water for a scenic backdrop. The reception was located nearby at Bird and Betty’s restaurant which offers ample space for guests and a bash. 

Fans were seen waiting outside of the venue before the ceremony took place to have a chance to spot a celebrity guest or the bride and groom. 

Naturally, Saturday’s festivities kept going well after dark, when the bride and groom were seen joyously holding hands with one another as they dashed laughing out of the afterparty.

Margaret had changed outfits yet again, this time slipping into a bride-appropriate white party dress with tulle half sleeves and a shimmery pair of ballet flats.

Jack, still decked out in black suit and black tie, enthusiastically led his new wife by the hand as she flashed her megawatt smile at her loved ones, waving at one of the guests while she followed him.

Their celebrity guests were also still in attendance – in full force – as the nuptial afterparty on Long Beach Island stretched into the nighttime hours.

Several of the guests had brought their drinks outside into the fresh air, where Zoe could be glimpsed outside enjoying a giggle with Cara and Taylor.

A gaggle of onlookers had duly formed, but they were successfully held at bay some distance from the wedding attendees, who mingled under the glare of cellphone lights.

The fact that they were being watched, however, did not appear to put a damper on the proceedings, as the guests were seen laughing cheerfully with one another.

Margaret and Jack were first romantically linked back in August 2021, and later attended the Critics’ Choice Awards together in March 2022, seemingly publicly confirming their budding relationship. 

Just two months later in May, the beauty sparked engagement rumors when she was seen wearing an eye-catching, diamond ring while at the Cannes Film Festival. Later that same month, it was confirmed Antonoff had popped the big question. 

On Friday, Margaret and Jack held a rehearsal dinner which also drew a number of celebrities, including Taylor Swift, Zoe Kravitz, Lana Del Rey and Channing Tatum. 

The dinner was held at the Black Whale Bar & Fish House which is located in Beach Haven, New Jersey. 

A source told People in an article published on Saturday that Long Beach Island has been ‘overrun with celebs this weekend’ due to the anticipated nuptials. 

The two lovebirds as well as the various guests all ‘looked like they were having an amazing time,’ a separate insider also told the outlet. 

It has been 40 years since this actress shot to fame while sharing the screen with a then-little-known Tom Cruise as he launched to stardom in his breakout role. 

The now 73-year-old was thrust into the spotlight after portraying the role of a prostitute in one of Tom’s hit films.

The blockbuster saw a Chicago teen looking for fun at home while his parents were away – but the situation quickly got out of hand. 

So, 40 years after the box office hit was released, can you guess who it is? 

In case you haven’t put it together yet, the actress is Shera Danese who shot to fame alongside Tom Cruise and Rebecca De Mornay in Risky Business.

In the film De Mornay’s character Lana gets intimate with Cruise’s high school-aged character Joel. 

And, after the encounter, she invites Vicki, played by Danese, over to crash at his house with her while his parents are out of town.

The trio get high together and after Lana wrecks Joel’s parents’ Porsche, she recruits Vicki and her other friends to turn the house into a brothel in order to raise money for the repairs. 

Following on from the success of Risky Business, Danese continued her a career as a Hollywood actress with her most notable appearances being in Baby Boom (1987), John Q (2002) and Alpha Dog (2006).

Beyond her professional success, she was married to actor Peter Falk.

The two were married for 34 years before he passed away from Alzheimer’s disease in 2011. 

Danese met the actor while he was making the 1976 film Mikey & Nicky in her hometown of Pennsylvania.

‘He saw me walking down the street and that was it,’ Danese previously told The LA Times.

In his 2017 biography Beyond Columbo, authors Richard A. Lertzman and William J. Brines penned that she initially turned down his offer but ended up conceding and grabbing a cocktail with him.

At the time, he was married to his first wife, Alyce Mayo. The book states that he had been unfaithful for a while but his behind-the-scenes rendezvous with Danese was seemingly the last straw.

The couple divorced in 1976 and that same year he brought Danese out to Hollywood where she made her first appearance in his show Columbo – even though she knew little about acting at the time.

‘As soon as I came out here in the mid-70s I did a Columbo,’ Danese said during her LA Times interview. ‘I was dumb then. I was just checking my lip gloss.’

In fact, her main goal was to become a singer ‘but when I came out here, I started acting. Singing seemed to be a harder business to get into.’

After tying the knot with Falk – who was 22 years her senior – in 1977, she appeared on Columbo once again. 

‘I was a mess. I didn’t know how to act as a person. I didn’t want to act like his wife,’ she said of her second appearance on the show.

She would work alongside her husband again in Columbo and the Murder of a Rock Star (1991) but he had some stipulations around her appearance in the film. 

‘I wanted to play the rock star in this one, but he wouldn’t let me because she is in bed with some young guy,’ Danese explained. 

‘But I am singing her songs. How is that for a twist? She is doing the sex scenes and I am doing the singing.’

Outside of their on-screen appearances, their relationship was reputably rocky. 

‘They were known across Hollywood as the Fighting Falks, always arguing, breaking up, then reconciling,’ wrote Beyond Columbo author Lertzman, claiming Falk wasn’t faithful throughout their relationship.

‘They would have stand-up rows in public.’

However, through thick and thin, they stood by each other’s side.

When Falk was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2008, Danese slowed down her acting career – only making a cameo in the show Cold Case in 2010.

At the time, his doctor claimed he ‘rapidly slipped into dementia after a series of dental operations.’

During that period, the two resided in his $5million Beverly Hills estate.

His daughter, Catherine Falk, filed for conservatorship over her father in 2008.

As per The Guardian, court documents from that time stated that Falk required ‘full-time custodial care for his health and safety’ and was no longer able to protect himself against ‘fraud or undue influence.’ 

His daughter also asserted that her father could not ‘recognize his physical needs or communicate those needs to others who can meet them.’  

In addition to the court documents, Catherine claimed through her lawyer, Steven Hogan, that Danese had ‘cruelly’ prevented her ‘and others’ from visiting Peter since Father’s Day in June.  

‘He has Alzheimer’s that has gotten significantly worse. She wants to make sure he gets the care he needs,’ Hogan said at the time.

After hip surgery in 2010, he deteriorated even further and ultimately passed away in June 2011. 

‘He died very peacefully with his wife by his side,’ a source told Radar at the time.

‘Peter left the bulk of his estate to Shera,’ a source told the showbiz website. 

‘The house that the two of them lived in together, art work, investment accounts, and more have been left to Shera.’

Citing the drama between her and her step-daughter Catherine, the source revealed that Catherine had been quickly denied conservatorship at the time, finding Danese to be a reliable caretaker. 

‘Peter’s daughter Catherine had a very strained relationship with her stepmother, Shera for years, and tried to get conservatorship of Peter several years ago,’ the source added.

‘The judge flatly denied that request because Shera proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that she was providing excellent care of her husband at home.’

Since Falk’s passing, Danese has continued to live a fulfilling life. 

She was honored with the Albert Schweitzer Award at the Last Chance for Animals Gala in 2015.

In a video pre-recorded for the gala, Danese revealed that she has dedicated her life to helping rescue dogs. 

‘It’s very rewarding to take an animal that no one else wants to give a chance to,’ she said in the video as she played with her five dogs.

‘You do know animal people are crazy?’ She joked in the video. ‘I just brought anything home that was on the street.’

Her most recent red carpet outing was at the 2022 premiere of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, during which she was pictured alongside Kathy Hilton.

Carrie actress Samantha Weinstein has died aged 28 following a two-and-a-half year battle with ovarian cancer.

Her death on May 14 was confirmed to Global News Canada by the star’s father David Weinstein who paid an emotional tribute to the Canadian star.

He said: ‘Sam was actually a living embodiment of a sunbeam.

‘She was so full of positive energy, anyone who ever met her would say that she just lit up every room she walked into.’

Her mother, Jojo Tindall-Weinstein said Samantha ‘changed everyone’s lives.’

‘And I know that sounds really dramatic, but people are really serious when they say that. Her infectious, positive attitude actually changed the way other people live.’

Samantha’s loved ones also posted two beautiful photos of the star posing against a celestial background – as they announced her passing. 

The post read: ‘Hello from the other side. Sam died on May 14th at 11:25am surrounded by her loved ones at Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto.

‘After two and a half years of cancer treatment, and a lifetime of jet setting around the world, voicing a plethora of cartoon animals, making music, and knowing more about life than most people ever will, she is off on her next adventure.

Samantha was known for playing high school student Heather in the Carrie remake in 2013 – alongside stars  Chloe Grace Moretz and Julianne Moore.

She also had roles in children’s cartoons  Gerald McBoing Boing and Babar and the Adventures of Badou and was doing voiceover work for cartoons in the weeks leading up to her death,

She broke through into acting aged just 10 years old in 2005’s Big Girl where she played Josephine – a role which made her the youngest-ever winner of an ACTRA Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female in 2006.

Samantha’s final Instagram post came on May 1 – which showed the actress enjoying her honeymoon with new husband Michael Knutson.

She wed Michael in a romantic ceremony in October 2022. 

Samantha bravely documented her cancer and treatment journey on social media, detailing how she was first diagnosed aged 25 – after realizing she looked ‘strangely bloated’ while walking home from a friend’s house. 

She wrote in a first person piece for Love What Matters: ‘It happened almost overnight. I was walking home from a friend’s house after drinking entirely too much red wine, when I noticed I looked strangely bloated. 

‘I knew I wasn’t pregnant because I was single and celibate, having just left an emotionally abusive relationship four months previously. My roommate assured me her girlfriends got like this all the time and it was just ovulation… or something.

‘Spoiler alert – it was not ovulation or something.

‘I was 25 and in the best shape of my life. There was no history of cancer in my family. I had just finished filming a music video with my punk rock band, Killer Virgins, and we were a week away from releasing our first major single. 

‘I was working as a full-time voice actor and living with a cool, hippie-earth-mama roommate and her two kittens. I was at the peak of what I assumed would be the rest of my life as a young creative in Toronto. Then, I started blowing up like Violet in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The next thing I knew, I was in the hospital under the disco-ball surgical light in the operating room, counting down from ten.

‘I spent four excruciating days in the hospital healing from a massive abdominal incision, most of which was spent hallucinating like Hypnotoad at Burning Man. 

‘When the nurses made me walk on the third day, I dissociated for the first time, looking down at my body from the ceiling. I only knew what was going on because of YouTube (all that binge watching finally paid off!). After the surgery, my dad drove me back to my parents’ house to recover.

‘Many weeks later, my mom told me I had looked like a ghost when I first walked into their living room; I was so pale and rail thin. It took me weeks to sit up on my own and walk without a cane. I’d never dealt with chronic pain before, or needed to rely on hardcore pain meds.

‘ Every day was a struggle to keep my spirits up and not collapse into the blackhole that was my mind – What would happen to my health? My career? My life?’

She would later reconnect with her childhood friend Michael while in ‘crippling pain’ on Valentine’s Day – with her future husband sending her a Facebook message. 

She wrote: ‘First dates were nerve wracking enough, but I had just received some devastating news the week before- it was cancer. Talk about scaring a guy off! There was something about him, though, that put me at ease. 

‘Eyes fixed on the dirt ground of the dog park, I told him I’d been diagnosed with a rare ovarian germ-cell yolk sac tumor, and I’d be starting chemotherapy in just a few months. 

‘I held my breath, squeezed my eyes shut, and waited for the inevitable rejection… but it never came. Michael smiled and squeezed my hand. His mother had fought cancer for eight years and had passed away two years ago. He was ready for this.

‘When my hormones were raging from IVF injections, we screamed at each other as we built an IKEA vanity and collapsed on the floor laughing. When my hair started falling out, we shaved our heads together. 

‘When my fingers were turning black from nerve damage, he took me out for ice cream and held the cone. He taught me love is selfless and reminded me to let others take care of me too.’
